- Its time to update the Dodge Uconnect 8.4 in my Charger R/T. I will show you how to check for and download the files so you can USB update the uconnect 8.4 dodge system in a 15+ Charger R/T. You will need your VIN number, a computer with internet access, and a USB drive with 4GB free space… and a Dodge with a 8.4 uconnect system…

It's really weird that it don't switch the settings like it should. It also don't turn off traction control in sport mode anymore.

Update your pcm to the SRT pcm, get a tazer , and order the srt suspension for the traction control to work. Your v8 isn’t to different from the srt, you just need to modify the gigs with the same srt gigs.
Stephon Davis if I understand you correctly I can buy a 2017 srt pcm and put it in my 5.7 hemi car and it will function as is I have an srt and I can do away with my tazer?
I’ve had a source tell me it worked for his Daytona, I don’t know for sure if it would work for a 5.7. A hemi isn’t to different from a Daytona. All the taser is doing is updating your software to have access to the srt functions but you need the exact suspension and pcm for it to work.

Would this add the sport mode option in my 2014 Charger RT? I have sport mode in the dash but the I do not have the option in the menu screen!

Hey I'm having the same problems just with my srt pages I can go into track mode on all setting features except on traction I have a 2016 rt scat pack charger.. any ideas??
Nope. My modes are still not right. Don't bother me. I just know they are messed up.

How do I fix my gps for my clock? I live in Texas and it’s 4:10 but it shows 3:10 if I have the gps on??? It should show the correct time for where you live correct? I have a 2012 sxt charger.

Hahaha, damn. My 18 R/T originally came with a non-nav integrated system and I ended up switching it out with an aftermarket jawn, so the website doesn't think I need an update at all.
Does this fix the intermittent turning off and then resetting after a few minutes of the Uconnect?
I have no idea. But its free to try, might be worth a shot.

I have no idea. But the system feels a little quicker than it used to. My main goal was to see if my settings would work again. Now I do need the tazer....

Nope. Paddles are permanently on, I don't get traction control in sport when in sport, and my steering feel won't change. It did when I bought the car tho. Thinking about having it looked at when I take it for the door skin peeling off.

Did you unzip the update file into the USB drive?
Dang! I bought my Uconnect on eBay and I can't imagine my vin # would work.
Download it and then decompressed the file to Nav 11.16 folder on a blank Sandisk flash drive and it says “Media goles not found” . Help me out please
11.16 does not sound like a current revision for the uconnect system. Is this a navigation update? If so, I have no idea how to update the nav system.

I’ve tried 7x to download this update and always say file interupted and won’t let me resume

If your car didn't come qith the option, you will need a tazer to access them.

Joshua Haney I let it download onto my MacBook & copied the file from downloads to my USB. How am I supposed to do it ?
@@jazzminejackson1706 you have to unzip the file and put those files onto the USB drive.
AVG Joes Garage I’m sorry, not that tech savvy. How do I unzip them? It decompressed the filed after it downloaded and created its own folder.

No idea. I have an android and all I do is bluetooth to steam music with it.

My charger simply keeps saying “cannot read usb device in my 13 rt, I have no idea what else to do I even got a newer flash drive 🤷🏾♂️
Are you putting the files in the root of the USB or in a folder in the root? Root being E:\
Or whatever drive letter it is assigned.
AVG Joes Garage yeah none of the files are in a folder. I have the uconnect and the nav update, but the car won’t read the drive at all, instead of saying no supported files

Did you extract the files into the USB root folder, x:\ ? X being whatever the USB was assigned for a drive letter?
