@jbhaulers no idea, but I'm going to guess they won't without some parts.

@DJIROQ1 easiest was to find out is to run a couple jumper wires from the plug to the light. Then you can reverse them quickly and see if it works. That is how I found my issue. Once I knew what it was then I re pinned the connector for the permanent fix. Not 100% sure if this is the same issue, but its worth testing out.

@@thomasdenha6892 You gotta go through the list until you see fog lights and switch it to on. Make sure ots updated first

@@kingclaytonz6027 thanks, turns out that it was on and that the only reason that they weren’t working is because I had to use LED lights instead of the standard halogen lights, thanks anyway.

@nija.. I do believe there is a filler you can use instead of a light if you don't want the lights. Not sure if the part number tho.

Got them from summit when I ordered the wheels.

I can't say. I would assume that they would still work, but idk if they made any changes later on. That bottom trim is interchangeable from oval to round cut outs I believe. So if you want the stay with the oval you should be able to remove it put it on the new bumper.

I was going to go with the cop car black steel but ended up going with some circle hole black steel wheels. Nothing fancy but cheap.

It was a fun one to find. Glad I did.

As far as I know it can be done with the bumper on the car.

The bumper cover is a different shape and goes farther out from the car. One could try, but I'm going to guess there won't be much to drill if it's to short. If time is not a concern it can be tried and if it don't work well the pan can be ordered later.

Ahhhh so the width/depth is different

If your car didn't come qith the option, you will need a tazer to access them.

I had to swap and went from oem led to oem led. Are you talking aftermarket? Or could it be newer models?

@AVG Joes Garage my cousin got 2015 rt and we didn't have to swap the wire with led bulb aftermarket. Oem is different then. Good to know. Thanks

I love this car. It's my favorite car. It's not the fastest car I own, but it's definitely my favorite. And with the winters on it, I have no real issues in the winter. I am trying some Falken F-ice 1 tires right now. They were similar in price to the winterforce 2s when I was shopping. So far they seem to be even better. Have not had any real ice to try them.on yet, but they are great for the snow we have had this year on michigan. I would say if you think you want one, go for it. They really are a well rounded family car with plenty if power to have fun with and with a good set of winter tires it's pretty tame unless you pour on the skinny pedal. I'm not sure what package or trim levels your looking at, but if you can get stuff like heated and cooled seats and a heated steering wheel (if in a cold winter climate) do it.

I got another question is the fog lights led or is they the yellowish halogen lights ? & I have a 2018 charger rt I’m in the process of swapping will that part number for the fog lights fit my car ?

@RyanFlexin mine are led. As long as the bumper is the dodge srt part, they should work. May require the bezels, I don't know.

As I remember it, it was lined up. I say that because I don't have stock exhaust and didn't have it when the tips were put on.

It does not. I have a 16, no lsd. I bought a 3.09 lsd, I can tell you they are not the same. 15 and 16 R/T Chargers are open diffs, probably all R/Ts to present are open diffs.

@@TeeWadeG I and others have 15 and 16 RT super track packs and mine has all options but sun roof and adaptive cruise. That diff is not a locking diff. If the diff case don't have cooling fins, it's open, case closed. Believe what you want, but I have do e the research,and if u don't trust me, ask R/T Life... better yet, I will call him up if ya want. There is a reason he INSTALLED a lsd in his car... which is a super track pack. So what now?

To tell you the truth, I don't even remember.but what I do remember was measuring where my exhaust stopped to the valance, added 2 inches and that was the minimum tip length I looked for. Seems like I was around 8 inches or so. I went with 4.5 inch diameter, you can do a 5 (which I am pretty sure is stock on the scats).

@@AVGJoesGarage Thanks. Amusingly I thought I'd done a good job getting my ducks in a row and yer videos about what ye'd need for the parts was indispensable. However when I got to the exhaust tips I slid them on and was like "damnit..." So my Dad, wonderful dude that he is, welded on some extensions to the Scat tips I bought and put those on. Unfortunately they protrude from the valence by a couple inches but since he did this out of the goodness of his heart and most importantly FOR FREE I wasn't inclined to complain about it to him. So instead I figured at a later date (MUCH later as I'd spent all I intend to spend for now) I'd just quietly replace the tips with something a hair shorter and be like "oh, I thought they looked cooler/meaner" if asked. But again, coming into this project yer videos were a giant help! Thanks again!

@@TheWasteOfTime my tips stick out a tad, but that's how I wanted them. I'm glad the videos helped. That's all I wanted to do. Figure I could save some people a lot of time by sharing what I had figured out.

Not all the way. Zl stealth mud flaps will cover the gap way cheaper than the inner wheel wells cost.

Nothing required. Mine came out of the original bumper and popped in the new one no issues, nothing needed.

@@AVGJoesGarage thanks man! I'm very surprised only the side trim bezels, closure panel and rear valance is needed with the bumper swap. I suppose all the other parts on the parts list is stuff the SXT bumper already has?

@ANewPaul yup, all the parts are already there.

There is a small portion that is not covered by the wheel wells front and back. I was not going to pay the asking price for the correct wheel wells. It don't bother me, but I'm sure it would drive some people nuts.

@@AVGJoesGarage That's what I thought, thanks. I recently had some minor front end damage on my 18 Charger R/T (nothing beyond a bit of cosmetic, but enough that I don't want to let it just sit) and in the Spring have work intended that's gonna require the front end to be pulled off anyway, so I was like "well, I've wanted to replace the front/rear bumpers and side skirts with SRT ones, maybe this is a convenient excuse to do it." I think the front not lining up completely wouldn't bug me too much but the back would irk me every time I looked at it. I've got some time before any of this can get started so I might just gradually buy up the necessary parts. Thanks again for yer work detailing everything ye'd need and whatnot, the rear bumper parts list especially is extremely helpful!

@@AVGJoesGarage hey man so I just followed those steps , my lights turn on then off any help ? I posted a video on my page, I did leave them un plugged for a while so maybe a new fuse idk

@@ethancoffman8160 watched the video and that is really weird. Do you have a multimeter? If so what is the voltage at the plug? Still have stock rt fogs? Could flip the plug back and see if they work. I can't remember is these are 5 volt or 12 volt lights, but if they are 12 could try running one right off the battery and see if it stays lit. The lights are controlled by computer so if both stock and those lights don't work it could be the module. Sorry I don't have a concrete answer.

Unfortunately I have no idea. Try doing jumpers and going back to the stock light and see if it works of if it flashes. If the stock light works I would say it might be a light or both lights. If the stock light flashes it's something else, I don't know what it would be tho.
