I have just beat wave 666 with 4 random ppl 2 pyro 1 soldier and a med it was epic we were trying engi, heavy and that all failed and than somebody got an idea for pyros
Pyro is the first class ive achived victory in mvm wave 666. Because someone said that someone needs to be pyro, so i switched to pyro. The medic heals me all the way into the end and we won! And then im practicing to become a pyro main in casual
The content is awesome but i would like to see winning the wave 666 in the offcial mode (6 players vs machines) because with more than 10 player that would be so easy
But it solves a lot of your problems, if you have a spy behind you while on stairs, you can trick flame ( trickstab but you burn them ). Plus, it STILL can reflect a lot of projectiles. You can have a Huntsman Sniper, a F2P Soldier, a Coolio Demoman fighting you but you win easily because you airblasted once. Meanwhile, the Phlogistinator can't bother to airblast because the engineer is so lazy at making an airblast switch so it makes a lot of problems for you. And about the Mmmph? You can have two pocket medics from a pocket medic steam group. One equips Kritzkrieg while the other equips The Quick Fix. It's exactly the same. Just farm for some metal and BAM! See how good Backburner is and resolves many problems? But with the Phlog's side.. you just W+M1 and get killed a second after.
I've been playing on ghost town for a good while(as in, it's the only mission I ever play in mvm), and I cannot express to you guys how fun it is to fly around the map with a maxed out detonator, it's like the beggars bazooka mid air jump but on crack, just be careful not to fall onto the death pit, bonus points if you land on a robot and do the phlog cancel like a pro. Screw deleting an entire robot horde with gas, flying around the map is the way to go, and it also removes one customer off your engineer tele.

The back burner is fun to use in mvm but I rather use stock because I airblast a lot maybe to much

the only thing i find wired in this game is Heavy is a Defender. But i won't judge it at all

This is tf2 logic: you cant take down a sentry with only fire dmg but you can kill robots with fire dmg :)
