It has to be said - these videos that You are presenting are amongst the best i have ever seen - Simply Superb! As is The Collection! i am Very Grateful for what is taking place here. With Highest praise to You All, and Lifetimes of Continued Preservation and Exhibition. Marvelous Beyond Words!....THANKYOU! (PS. Your wardrobe matches the Class of Exhibit and it is fair to mention it in appreciation🙏)
THIS IS THE CAR THAT MADE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH THE FRENCH CARS OF THE Art Deco ERA. I FIRST SAW THIS CAR DISPLAYED AT THE MONTEREY HISTORIC RACES AND TWO DAYS LATER AT THE PEBBLE BEACH CONCOURS. MY LATE HUSBAND, GENE SHERMAN, SPOKE WITH PETER ABOUT THE PROVENANCE OF THE CAR AND IT'S TERM OF RESIDENCE AT THE BRIGGS CUNNINGHAM MUSEUM IN Costa Mesa, CALIFORNIA, WHERE GENE HAD WORKED FOR NEARLY 20 YEARS. HE SHARED WITH ME THAT HE HAD DONE SOME THE EARLY RESTORATION OF THE DASHBOARD. THIS MOST FABULOUS CAR JUST CRIES TO BE DISPLAYED WITH A REED-THIN MOVIE STAR OF THE 30'S, WEARING A BIAS CUT CHAMPAGNE COLORED GOWN, 3/4 LENGTH MATCHING LOVES, AND FOOT LONG CIGARETTE HOLDER. WITHOUT ANY PROSE, THE CAR SEEMS TO TELL IT'S OWN STORY OF FRENCH DRAMA. MERVIELLEUSE!!
there is a cylinderhead with 10mm plugs made for race dutie with bigger valves and the original Talbot Lago pre-selector gerbox has two special racing features!! feel free to contact me.
Look for other French autos bodied by Figoni & Falaschi, including Talbot Lago. Some of the most eye-wateringly beautiful automotive designs ever conceived on this planet. This same car in the video was showcased by Jay Leno's Garage, and he drives it: th-cam.com/video/aSrisUel354/w-d-xo.html What surprises me is that they haven't yet featured the 1939 Delahaye prominently displayed on the turntable. It's a one-off, created for the 1939 New York world's fair, impounded by US Customs when war broke out. It later had a Cadillac motor installed after being sold, while a subsequent 8-year restoration process effort managed to rejoin it with the original motor. I saw it up-close and personal during the 2009 Meadow Brook Concourse, and it's appeared in the third 'Transformers' motion picture. It's a stunningly gorgeous car.

Amazing, this car really deserves the title of (being candidate for) the most beautiful car ever made! One of my top 10 beautiful cars ever made ❤️

this is the epitome of automotive design. flawless
I don't think the windshield glass is curved. Everything else is, though!

Could have spent an hour "under the hood."
Buy yourself a CMC 1:18th model, and you'll be as close as possible to under the hood of the real thing. CMC did a phenomenal job.
