    Great video and great race car. Two flags, one for the founder: Damián Mateu Bisa and one for the engineer: Marc Birkigt. The King Alfonso XIII was a Gentlemen drive and ambassador of the brand. Regards from Europe Barcelona Spain.

    there is a cylinderhead with 10mm plugs made for race dutie with bigger valves and the original Talbot Lago pre-selector gerbox has two special racing features!! feel free to contact me.

    They made 30 EB110 SS cars 21 of which had the EB110 GT engine. Only 9 EB110 SS had the SS engine fitted.

    Bravo for this video. Just want to rectify please, Voisin built 6000 airplanes during WWI. Then he closed and did not even sell his airplane company because he did not want to manufacture anymore military products. And by that time there was no future for civilian airplane. So he began to manufacture cars, with other things before.

    I suppose the floor had to be built so high to allow it to clear the prop-shaft and remain flat across the car. But why was a flat floor preferable to a lower seating position and lower centre of gravity?

    With all due respect to the gentlemen presenting this video, particularly the "engine expert," the McLaren F1 had a 6.1L 48v V12 producing 618 SAE Horsepower at 7400 rpm.

    After the Second World War, two Czech authors traveled around Africa and Argentina in a Tarta 87. The authors Jiří Hanzelka and Miroslav Zikmund wrote about their events in 1947/1948. I read the book about Africa that belongs to my father. There were interesting descriptions of what regional events look like after the war in Africa, how Tatra technology fared in the scorching heat on the African continent and how the people lived there.

    Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in EU :-( In Germany the Green party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated peoples gas station per city. From 2027 on the will even stop the production and the import of certain car parts as exhaust systems, catalysts and even stop selling engine lubricants

    Whatever one may say about this car, and it's restoration choices (good or bad), one thing is for certain, it is NOT a 1938 model. In spite of the 1938 Ringhoffer build tag (purchase able on ebay.de.), this car has none of the features associated with the first series (low production) cars of 1938. There is no little beady light on the tail fin, no flush tail lights, no large speedo on the dash, no bolt on headlight buckets, no right hand drive (though it could possibly be for the left hand drive German market)., a newer Jikov carb., newer steering column, and other elements pointing to a "pre war" body of 1839-41 rebuilt or used just after the war . This would explain the later gauges and dash "ephemera" (my memory tells me that the 46089 would signify a 1940 build date, but that is something easily checked with the Tatra factory who keeps those records). It's a great car, don't spoil it by making up stories... And as, someone has already pointed out the gas fired under seat heater was not part of this cars history but rather a feature on the T603. As everyone knows, Jay Leno has one of these... his is also a nice car, but NOT a 1938, though he says so. too.

    they strong...because there was still no technology to make thinner steel plates as 1mm , ..or better to say thez did not knew yet how to overcome the strain hardening of the steel during rolling.

    same rim/wheel is used for decades later on most old cars from cssr. i had them even on a two wheeled small tractor.
