Totally agree! Everything was perfect, from the singing to the dance routine, the song itself and who would have guessed that it even sounded better with the orchestra who did a fantastic job! Not always an easy task with a dance song (see Gina G's Uh Ah...).

They toured, including this track in their set, plus Making your mind up of course, and recorded a new album as The Fizz, called the f-z of pop, which did quite well. Bobby features on the singles Dancing in the rain, Up for the fight, Amen and Home for my heart. They’d known him for years anyway as he used to go out with their wardrobe girl. Plus those of us in the Repressed Catholic Schoolgirl Club agree that whoever was responsible for putting Bobby in those trousers deserves only good things.

They ranked 6th. Not 10th. There were no 10th that year because twice 9th.

I'm addicted to this song. I just wish the lyrics weren't utterly nonsensical 😆

The conductor looks like David Cameron's dad. And interesting early work from Carrie Grant there.

The introducer of the singers sounds exactly like the introducer from the 1967 Eurovision introducer! Is it the same lady?!

    Brings memories
Music films everything screamed quality then
A time when Eurovision was the best Eurovision ever
A song that deserved to win 😊

uhm for me that song fromYugoslavia is really good, and in any other year could be top-3, but in 1983 in my opinion, is a bit less good than the other 4 songs...1983 was a year with a lot of good songs!
