What an awesome job explaining everything man. I really appreciate this video…my pump just went out an hour ago and now I’m sitting here watching this to learn how to do it🙂. Thanks again for this!!
One day while my son drove the van home, he said he noticed a winding sound coming from inside and the car was not as responsive. The next day it started up but, hesitated and the engine stalled out. Using my scan tool, I triggered the pump on and off and noticed that sometimes with the pump on, the car would still stall out. I also did some other tests to make sure it was the fuel pump. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
@@Prolbuilds Ok, got it! Agree with you. I think this is the same replacement procedure as yours.. Unfortunately i couldnt find information about fuel filter replace too. Sorry 4 my eng))

I have a ?
I have a 2014 odyssey and sometimes it cranks longer before starting. Do you think it could be the gas filter.
Great job , what prompted to replace the pump.

Hello! 2019 US Market Odyssey RL6 Do I need to remove the fuel tank to change the fuel filter? Or is the filter replacement process the same as yours?
It looks like it's going to be the same as my Odyssey. I can't find anything on an external fuel filter for the 2019 model.

Did you have to remove the door on the fuel tank side?
I did not have to remove the door.
What kind of lube should I use on the pump?
It's a good practice to use silicone lube on the O rings. But the pump itself doesn't require any lube.
I hope this helps.
