l have seen a lot of youtube videos on the current clinical trials and newly approved drugs. This right here is 100% true. There is this drug called ritixumab used to treat blood borne cancers such as leukemia. It uses the same principle of modified antibodies blocking the breaks on tumors cells giving a fighting chance for the T cells. 👏👏 Great explanation right here. I'm a little confused when you say normal nucleated cells display self peptide on class I MHCs, or empty MHC I molecules? And it goes for something to do with NK cells, isn't it?
there is nothing called empty MHC I molecule. its a term to say the peptide binding groove is empty.
