With the ultra how do you secure it while driving when it is completely down?

We use cam buckle straps around the pillar and arms of the top to secure it.

for the ultra, do you ever have issues on the highway at high speeds of the top filling with air when it is completely in the down position? i have run into that and it almost looks like it is about to fly away.

I asked Josh about that and he said "absolutely not". You might be able to adjust the hooks at the front to pull it down tighter or ask Bestop.

How hard is it to completely remove the trek top vs the ultra? Not sure how I feel about the ultra bunched up in the back like that, but could be a game changer in the rain.

If you mean remove all the mounting brackets and stuff, that’s a long job. If you mean the windows, it’s just a few minutes.

Do you ever fill these up to go camping? I want one so bad but I can't lose a ton of space in the rear

That’s why I like the Trek Top with the Fishbone Offroad shelf. It helps make up for a bit of the loss. These days though, We have an overland trailer so we don’t have a problem with space.
