I am not too upset about these experiences. If it is meant for me to shop at Hermes- it will happen but until that moment (may or may not) comes..... I will just keep collecting horror stories like infinity stones 😂😂

Personally, after all these experiences, the brand wouldn't get a dime from me in store nor pre-loved.
Yeah... that is why I have very few items from Hermes and don't even show them on my channel because I honestly just don't enjoy talking about my experiences there :(
What I love about LV is that I can buy any style capucines that I want!!! I just added two new minis capucines to my collection. One in ombré lizard and another in a pastel/mint green ostrich skin. Hermes would’ve made me beg for it. No thank you.
And that is another big point. Why should I have to beg to spend money with a brand?!??

Those are awful experiences! I’ve been to an Hermes store twice and was also ignored (2 different locations) Similar experience where they sent me over to a counter to wait for an SA to help me with a click H bracelet and no one ever came over . I had to chase someone down. It hasn’t been a great store experience for me either. The second time my friend and I were completely ignored while someone who came in after us was helped
I was ignored in Chanel store in London. When I took my LV wallet they immediately came to me.

It is actually that they lose percentages of their salary every week they don't meet their sales quota, so they have to focus on selling, and everyone loving the brand etc is thrown out the window.

Absolutely shocking treatment Hayley! I have never shopped with Hermes and by the sound of it, will never! How very rude, you are the customer and how come these sales associates are so far up their own _____? . Personally, I think Hermes is overrated and stodgy. So glad Dior don’t behave like this.
I’m so glad Louis Vuitton doesn’t behave like this 😂 it’s ok though. It all makes amazing stories so I could care less 🤦🏽♀️

I stopped Hermes shopping in the states because of this kind of treatment. I applied for an appointment in Paris and then just went screw it. I’m good. I went to LV Place Vendome and had a wonderful time and experience. I’m an LV or Dior girl and got a “special” bag while I was there.
We are lucky to have an SA that treats us like we are #1. So kind and attentive. No problens getting the items on our wishlist.
I wish SA positivity on everyone that watches my videos! Generally I have positive experiences at luxury stores as well but it is inevitable to come into contact with 'not so nice' experiences.

The common denominater of Hermes customers is that they collectively have Stockholm syndrome! Why support & frequent a business that clearly doesn't value or appreciate their customers! It's insane!
I think we need to let the 1% and those who don’t mind abuse have Hermes. I hate that you had to experience this, but it’s clear that this is how they do business. They don’t wish to appeal to the masses only their select few.
You need to come meet my Hermes SA… he is gay and the best! Makes shopping experience super fun. Never pressures me to buy, matter of fact… he is my voice of reason. Will advice me when i am being impulsive. Sorry to hear your experience.
I'm so sorry that this happened to you 🤬. These are the reviews that have kept me out of Hermes and Chanel since they behave the same way. Smh.
I have only gone to Hermes a few times, but most of my experiences were bad. So I rarely bother stopping by. And I am not interested in B or K, so that helps me stay clear on most shopping trips. Shopping luxury is supposed to be an enjoyable experience, and there is no shortage of fun to be had; Chanel, DIOR, LV, Gucci, Bulgari, VCA, Tiffany, Cartier, etc. More fun than my budget allows, but I am trying to get to them all 😇.
I don’t need to get bad service from Mr./Ms./Miss Snooty-Pants at Hermes when the products and service are 1st rate at most of the others.
And as a side note, Hermes has a strong equestrian history vs. a high fashion history. Very “horsey”. Not necessarily the vibe I am after…😊
When I was younger I worked in the visual presentation department at a designer department store . I would take the bus and guess who most of the people on the bus were , those snotty salespeople with their Prada bags ( the first round of the black nylon bags they all carried in the 90's ) .
If only someone from Hermes family is hearing this….wonder if any of their SAs can afford a Birkin??…treating their potential customers this way?!! Despicable!!

Its sad because its not just arrogance they literally know they hold all the power and people are begging to buy items. Unless you find someone forget it.. i wasted 10k with an SA who offfered me nothing after a year and a half... didnt care to get me anything I asked for. i switched SA's after finding an SA in another city and she not only found be all the things I was looking for but she also offered non quota bag and quota bag within 8 months! It is trully who you get.. i wouldnt give up if you like the quality of the brand, there is hope!
I found it fine pre- Covid but since than the SA’s are either very aloof or nice
I think luxury shopping in general (not singling Hermes out anymore) has taken an interesting turn since Covid. I don't think it will resume or revert back to its original practice/form.
After listening to your experience, and others, it's almost like an abusive relationship happening. There are several other high end luxury stores where you won't get treated like that. Or if you really really really want and need Hermes items just by them pre-loved !
Girl....there is NOOOO WAAAYYY that I would continue to give them my time or attention! They should want your money...not act like you aren't good enough. This is why I've never and will never go to this brand....im not gonna kiss their a** to buy their product...they should be kissing mine!!😂😂 You deserve better!!❤❤
No, the fact is; most people DON’T have great experiences at Hermes! They are a trip! That is why I always go to pre-loved Hermes Birkins, Kellys, or any other handbag.
Thing is you people put up with this treatment so why would they change. This is like going back to an abusive ex.
I agree with you…. That is why I laugh about the experiences. I don’t take it too seriously because at the end of the day I still go into the stores 🫠 one day I will stop going into the stores but until then… I will keep being mistreated and hope for the best 😅

idk hermes just gives me bad vibes, i feel that the store is judging me. You can tell when a store is okay with you just looking around or coming in for just a small item. so it's not just you. i don't really have the money to spend for a birkin yet, but i could possibly buy a bunch of smaller things.
i just have stopped going into the store whenever i'm on a shopping trip.

They are very expensive and looking back I am glad I never purchased any of the items I wanted because they have bad resell/second-hand value. The only items that are relatively strong purchases from the brand are some of their bags
Ms. Hayley, YOU ARE NOT THE PROBLEM. This is the shopping experience, you are a paying customer they should have been following you and catering you around. Without the awesome clientele system, the brand will not survive. Have they not heard of all these brands going to bankrupt, Hermes just sell leather products that hundreds of others company also sell and even better in quality and customer service. Dont tell me $900-$1,000 flipflop sandal that hard like a piece of wood and killing your feet is something someone want to buy. They want us to buy all these products that noone really want to buy to see how far would the customer go. I admit, Hermes has beautiful scarves but shopping supposed to be fun and relaxing. I heard only some locations more unpleasants than others. Buy from different places, they need us we don't need them we only come to purchase things it's not Life or threat situation.I'm from Vietnam, some guy added all the most luxury brands include Hermes. When you are a paying customer, they send a ride to your home they take good care of you and they can get anything you want. The bad experience is from the management and whoever in charge of the store Okay to overlook these ridiculous customer service.
Very weird people, unbelievable!! My only experience in Hermes store was 3 yrs ago, I went there to buy a Bastia coin purse. I met a very kind guy and I had very positive experience. I live in Turin (Torino, north-west Italy), intrigued by your experience I have just read the latest reviews about this store and most of them are telling the same story as yours 😮. I will never understand such behaviour by Hermes, Chanel, LV etc sales assoc. 🤯
After all these treatments, wearing any of the resulting items will be equivalent to wearing indignities as your style. What for?

These Hermes horror stories make me so sad. They need to do better expeditiously. I’ve been treated so well in Hermes besides my home store in Chicago😂. But we have a vacation home in Naples, FL and they have always been SO kind to us. Vegas too! Keep in mind I’m black and so is my mother, so we always expect the worst! Due to my experiences in Chanel boutiques, I never purchase from them. I exclusively purchase pre loved Chanel or from Saks/Neiman’s, unless a loved one has gifted me from boutique

The story that happened in my other video, about the SA giving me the small ring and being what I thought to be "let down" by me wanting real jewelry instead of a Clic H bracelet actually happened in Naples 😂😂

Why did you keep going back? My self respect can’t be bought. The first time she was rude I would have challenged her attitude and never brought anything from Hermes again.
Yeah... like I stated, I take everything with a grain of humor and salt because I actively go back into these stores looking to spend money. I don't shop at Hermes that often, so it is not like these things are happening every other week (these occurrences are sprinkled amongst 10 years). I do enjoy the items that Hermes sells and I enjoy going into the stores because they are nice but like I stated- I am not going every week or even every month (barely once or twice a year).
Yeah, I'm sorry that you have a bad experience. Hermes is quite upscale, and they can be super judgemental. Many people sort of figure out that if you dress up very well and clean up and polish nicely, you'll get better treatment at Hermes. I know that can be a turn off to many people.
I had to kiss a few frogs to find a good sa at Hermes as well. I think a lot of the SAs are snooty and lazy. Just keep going until you find a good one and then go to that same one afterwards. It gets better once your relationship is established.

Well, this is a clear profiling, no doubt or question about it. You don’t appear to look the way hermes SAs expect people to look who shop there. This is just outrageous and as I listened to your stories i felt my blood boiling. For this very reason hermes doesn’t deserve our money, plus their bags are too ugly to even consider. Ugh

My issue is that I HATE returning items, which eliminates the online Hermes route for me. I do not want to purchase items, try them on, and then return them, so I go into the store hoping to TRY STUFF ON and seeing it in person.

I do however hate their way of business. The atmosphere is pretentious and cold. I wish I could just buy whatever bag/color combo that I want. I’m very specific about my handbags, and I refuse to buy any old thing just to make the associate happy. It’s irritating. I know so many women who do purchase those hideous two-toned birkins just because😂. I’ve gotten one Birkin so far from the boutique (no purchase history), but I’m seriously considering going brand new but pre-loved the next time because I really want a blue Jean B25 w/ GHW. I don’t have time for the games. Have you thought of looking on the re-sale market ? Of course only if you cared enough. Everyone is not checking for Hermes like that so I understand😅

I have also had a few positive experiences at Hermes. I have even been with a friend to a "private" shopping event/release for a watch they had a while back (she was invited and allowed me to tag along). I have been to their museum exhibition in the city I used to live in which was very nice. I have shopped relatively "pain-free" in some instances and actually had the best customer service ever at the Hermes in the Dubai Mall. This video was just a highlight of my negative experiences.
I looked at your profile, and it is actually sad to see another woman of color try to diminish another woman of color's story because you have had a different experience.
Most of the people who were rude to me at Hermes were people of color as well.... 🤷🏽♀️ it must be a theme 🫠. I will never understand the disdain (black women especially) have against one another. I would never go out of my way to tell another black woman that her story is false, a lie, or any of those things and I pray you never have bad experiences and try to express them to the best of your abilities and have people tell you- you are a liar. I’m so appreciative of you for this video, especially since I recently had a very similar experience at Hermes myself about a month ago, which, when I add them all up, equals around five frustrating situations with Hermes for me, so I’ve been getting almost paranoid about it! I’ve never encountered such rude people, and to be treated with actual disdain.. mind you, Hayley, I’m a very kind and considerate person, like you, and I’ve been buying from all luxury houses for many years, but I’ve never ( with only a handful of less than satisfactory visits with Chanel and LV (only once), imagined sales associates (or security) to be so obnoxiously rude. You’d really think they owned the brand, not just worked there! I had a very similar experience with the coffee but in my instance, I didn’t say anything back, which I regret. I’m so proud of you for saying what you did and leaving! Good girl! You’re the one as the customer, who should be catered to, not vice versa. Such disrespect. I’m definitely remaining loyal to my Dior ( best service ever!!) and LV… even Chanel..😉☺️🥰
