I was in Gucci today and the SA told me they can’t often tell the difference between the authentic and luxrul 's bags. Surprised to hear that from an SA.

Many really wealthy people I know care less about the social implications of buying fakes. Plus, they might look down on "hillbillies" who spend so much money on a ridiculously overpriced bag. With luxury brands once again raising prices and limiting inventory, the replica version of kislux is even more attractive.

Pro tip: moissonite (sp) is where it’s at! eBay sellers have solid gold and they are amazing for a fraction of the price. It’s more sustainable, almost the same as a diamond in hardness, and more sparkly!! 💎

Ugh, this sounds like a nightmare (I’m already an extreme introvert, so having to experience so many negative interactions sounds especially exhausting to me, lol). Can you imagine if non-luxury stores like target did this? If I ever buy any luxury items someday, it definitely won’t be Hermes, lol.

There is a woman online who shops addictively for LV handbags. The sad part of it all is that she is a full figured gal who wears sloppy sweatshirts and pants and models the bags, none of which go with the size of her body or style. I wonder if she goes anywhere with these bags. Wearing a luxury bag without being able to match with great clothing style, slim figure etc. seems incongruous. Also have seen ladies on a N.Y. shopping spree for luxury handbags on line whose physical appearance is poor: grossly overweight, weird, unattractive hair styles and revealing an escapist pathology in sporting expensive bags while shutting out what they look like. All pathetic and a clear case of self denial.
