As someone suffering from social anxiety, I can safely say this isn't the case for everyone. If this was the case, no one would have a reason to be scared in the first place. We are perpetually anxious because we've already tried to expose ourselves and failed miserably since our bodies and mind work against us, even as we're facing the threat. Then we get humiliated, and ultimately retreat back into our cocoons.

I have social anxiety, it was so bad that even thinking about speaking made my heart like beat so fast it hurt, but after going to therapy for a couple years and getting anxiety medication, I can now confidently speak to other people- however, presentations and choir solos are still a bit uncomfortable

I’m a speech coach and what he said is 100% untrue
I’ve worked with clients in the past that I helped tame stage fright while helping them build confidence.

I have social anxiety in this is not true, in most cases, it does not go away, and when it's over it, doesn't even go away because you're worried about what everybody thought that they all had to clap or something, and now I'm getting scared because I have a thing I have to do on stage soon, please pray
    .
And if this does not make sense to you, don't worry, because I don't know how to explain it, the feeling is weird it's kind of, hard to explain.

Truce. I started talking and the fear inside me lowered down. I still had a bit of fear tingling in my body and if I stop fearing public speaking I'll thank God for liberating me from that experience

I'm great at talking to people, but when I'm told I have to stand in front of a group and talk, I get super nervous and usually get out of it, but my main issue is not feeling confident enough with what i'm going to present.

once you start it goes very smooth and the fear goes away ,I've experienced it
But the most frightening was how you start it
If you start it with a different shivering voice and look at the eyes of the people infront of you
You get stucked......and that's how everything goes wrong right from the start
How do you overcome that ?

This is not true. I was so scared for presentations but I calmed myself down a little bit before I went up. Once I am started talking and I got to like a forth of the way through I started to shake and I went really fast because I was about to cry and have a panic attack
