Very useful update on the transport option. I can see the price for the buses went down to 5.50. I am going at the end of January. I am hoping the weather will be nice and not too cold.
I don't know if they take credit cards. If you download the Beat app, you can use your credit card through it. Don't get Euros at the airport, it is very expensive. You could change money in Omonia Square for decent rates.
@@ToGoIsToKnow yeah in omonia you can exchange money but i wouldnt suggest it as like tourists are aimed at there by non-Greeks, who are not friendly and just are related to commiting crimes and stuff
Used the free app to order a taxy, 7,30 in the morning. Cost to sintagma is 40 euro. Took the metro before. Was attacked and try to rob me! 3 people, arriving to sintagma on metro. 2 press button on one side so the door close and open, on the other side one doesnt let you get off. Never coming back to athens!

So with 9 Euro you can just switch to another line?
Yes, you can switch to any metro lines.
yeah it's like 90 minute trip (go in whatever you want metro bus tram etc. but you can go to the airport
