  • PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION!
    So in this video I am doing an unboxing of the Inokatsu Colt M1911A1 Standard Edition full steel CO2 GBB pistol. I will also share some information and my opinion of this pistol. I also do a brief comparison to the KWC 1911 CO2 GBB pistol.
    I am not saying that the KWC 1911 is a replacement for the Inokatsu, but that you should probably consider what you are getting for the money in either case and compare the two.
    Some of the plus points for the Inokatsu 1911
    * Only full steel WW II style M1911A1 pistol on the market today (?)
    * It's full steel!
    * Realistic weight and feel
    * Sounds amazing to operate
    * Exclusive and unique
    * Collectors item
    Some of the negatives:
    * Poor finish
    * Poor fit of parts
    * Slide stop lever comes loose from frame
    * Lack of fake firing pin
    * No RS style disassembly of the recoil spring plug
    * Problems with the safety mechanism
    * Only operates on ugly KJW CO2 magazines
    * Expensive
    * IMO, not worth the money
    All in all, I cannot recommend this pistol as a whole. But if you read up on it, consider all the factors and then decide you still want it, then that is up to you. For me, it's not worth it for what you get. Like I said in the video, it's not that bad, but it's just not that good either.
    Hope you guys enjoy! Please remember to subscribe, like and share!

    It's a terrible gun. You spend lots of money and you realise that the left edge of the slide is very bad made. It is not accetable for that kind of price. Very bad company.

    @laurenceroberts9041 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    i agree, way to expensive. as for your comments on the finish do some more research. it is representing a ww2 gun. those guns had a parkerized finish. that finish when was rough until it was used for awhile.if you want a nice blued finish you have to go back to ww1 and the original 1911.

    Dude, Thank you so much for this review. I almost went ahead and bought this gun just for the steel. But now im totally backing down from it.
    Do you know what arsoftbrand makes the best Colt 1911? Like KWC or KJW or someone else entierly?

    • @CJAwesome83
      @CJAwesome83  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      HolzmannsKnogar Well from the ones I have had the KWC 1911 is definately a very good bang for the buck. KJWs are also very good. I would say pick one of those. KWC is more proprietary in design but it works great and is really fun to shoot.

      Hi man (Im also from Sweden btw)
      I spent 5 days reading American, British and Swedish airsoft forums and watching TH-cam-video-reviews about which Airsoft Colt 1911 is the best model out there. The vote was unanimous.
      The KWC wins all across the board.
      The buildquality is the best, the preforamance is best, the price is really good, and people who owns both the KWC and KJW says that the KWC its the most fun to shoot with - Why it is so, they cant say, it just is. So i bought one. And im mightily happy with it indeed.
      I picked mine apart completley, filed and polished every sharp corner, both inside and outside like gunsmiths do on Custom 1911s.
      Then i removed all the external gray plastic-paint from it and then Gun-Blued it so it now shines blue-black like a real Colt 1911 (or the Inokatsu). I also ordered real wooden grips from eBay so now the feeling of holding it is hard-on-fantastic. Anyone can do this really, its quite simple. It took me 3 full days to complete it, but well worth it i say.

    Only airsoft pistols that I have found you can manually drop the hammer on without it discharging gas are Western Arms

  • @CJAwesome83
    @CJAwesome83  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah, It's kind of difficult from a design standpoint to make that happen so I can see why most manufacturers don't do it. Good to know.

    Go KWC. I bought one with the slide markings and tweaked the safety not to engage when hammer down and slide stop drops on slide slingshot.
    Now why would I buy an inokatsu when I also have the real deal Colt 1911A1...

  • @CJAwesome83
    @CJAwesome83  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah, that is true. Unfortunately for us airsoft, due to low volume production and high overhead always comes out more expensive in relative terms. Oh well.

  • @CJAwesome83
    @CJAwesome83  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    No problem with me!
    It's unfortunate that the 100 USD Colt 1911 models are so close in comparison to this one, and one very silly points at that.
    That's basically the verdict on this. Unless you absolutely must have the most realistic and full steel 1911 out there, there are many better and affordable options to look into.

    Im getting the colt m1911 100th anniversary. Co2 gbb semi auto. Full steel. And ut is essentially the same as what you have shown me. But mine works great. No problems. Great finish on the steel. And mine only cost $99. I would refrain from buying from where you received this gun. Great video though. And for a swedish person, youre english is impeccable. Im from america. However, I am bilingual, so I have a very, very, slight spanish accent. And use spanish sometimes instead of english. Anyway. Great video. Great gun. Wish you didnt get ripped off. My regards.

    • @CJAwesome83
      @CJAwesome83  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cameron Brigham Sorry to burst your bubble but you most likely bought a KWC Colt 1911 CO2 pistol which is full metal, not steel. It normally retails for around $100 USD. And it's not the same as the Inokatsu 1911 pistol. However, as per the video above it is a great alternative to the $850 USD Inokatsu. I am sure you will enjoy it :D

    • @CJAwesome83

      Yeah for sure. Really sad they couldn't manufacture a flush fitting CO2 mag for it :(

    • @alcoholicgamer6397
      @alcoholicgamer6397 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      have you tried a kwc co2 mag? i imagine they would be very similar fitting

    • @CJAwesome83
      @CJAwesome83  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I had a look at that and unfortunately the size and angle of the KJW CO2 mag means it doesn't even come close to working in the INO system.

  • @dougsoal7626
    @dougsoal7626 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    The pistol works quite well with a Marui 1911 mag, using Guarder Up gas (black gas)

  • @CJAwesome83
    @CJAwesome83  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not with the one I have currently. I had two at one point, one which I tried to disassemble just to take a look inside and clean it etc. And it was pretty brittle, I ended up breaking the piston head and strip one of the grip screw threads. So you need to be careful. However, if you just leave it be and shoot it as intended it seems to hold up very well so far!
    Thanks, haha, yeah the INO is a bit of a disappointment I have to say. I may be making it look worse than it is due to my pessimism...

  • @CJAwesome83
    @CJAwesome83  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    No. In fact not at all. I have the RA Tech Kimber Royal II, and it was a soul deal for me. Not what I expected, problems out of the box, money on upgrades etc.
    From what I have seen and read on the Stainless it's not much different. So yeah, no way.
    Also RA Tech never came thru with what they promised me in regards to the Royal II. I was promised full steel upgrade parts from the factory after I confronted them about all the KJW alu. parts... Never happened. :(

    My KWC M1911A1 I bought drops the hammer if I play with the trigger with the safety on. Haven't tried it with CO2 yet, I just got it in the mail! Got mine from a swedish store, so maybe that is why it is not the same. It seems to be some 100th anniversary edition with colt markings on the slide

    since you say you dont shoot your airsoft guns, you can buy a real actual ww2 1911 and take out the firing pin just to use as a replica.

  • @cameronk7399
    @cameronk7399 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    There is a 'new' version of this going around. From a glance, they appear to have better stamped Colt trades, and obviously higher serial number ranges (I believe past 10700). Some French forums have mentioned it. I used Google Translate, and it appears that the feedback is pretty positive. The 2017 version is also cheaper. I myself have one of the 'old' versions (although it is the on the higher end of 'old'). Finish is pretty good, better than yours for sure. However, I am tempted to pick up one of these new versions to see if it has improvements (I'm thinking with the slide stop in particular), but finish and tolerance increases would be great (and I believe some have taken place based on the little I could find).

    • @CJAwesome83
      @CJAwesome83  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I saw that new cheaper version as well. Even if it was $100 USD I would not want it. I am done with INO :D

    • @Thahamster
      @Thahamster 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Got convinced to buy the 2017 version. If you're handy enough it's a decent deal. They have fixed the slide stop and the safety. The most annoying thing is that the CO2 efficiency is pure shit. The reason is that the firing pin lock (part 45) disengages far too late and waste tons of gas. Either you grind down the part so it disengages immediately or get a KJW CO2 blowback unit (part 7) since they disengage the firing pin lock earlier than the green gas version.

    No danger! I have tried and the hammer remain halfcocked. I've adressed the question to those from Inokatsu and they redirected me to my romanian retailer...:D. Anyway, I like very much that replica...

  • @CJAwesome83
    @CJAwesome83  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks!
    Unfortunately, no it is not, but it is :p
    I have a couple of hours of video regarding the RA Kimber on this channel, check it out.
    But in short, the overall quality, fit and finish is better on the RA. But it has other problems. It uses alot of KJW aluminum parts, and it has operational problems out of the box (thumb safety jamming etc). But if you have to get one or the other, I definately "recommend" the RA Royal. Best of luck!

  • @CJAwesome83
    @CJAwesome83  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Haha, no worries. It may come off as a little worse than it is, but I think we can all agree that it is indeed pretty bad. I will take this hit for the airsoft community! :p

    Haha! Excellent question to which I would assume INO would answer that it is a feature. I say it is a fault.
    What is true I cannot say. But if it's suposed to be a high quality authentic 1911 replica, they failed on that point.

    The mag in the gun made me completely rage! Like seriously, it's glossy black, doesn't match the gun. Nice job inojika-whatever . Saw this earlier on redwolf, seems the price has gone down to $500. Still completely stupid. I think that this is more of a display piece, but then you're better off just buying a real 1911 and weathering it a bit, save you the headache of dealing with cheap Japanese makers. Pisses me off so much I think you can understand.. Sorry bro I know you're disappointed. /:

      Yeah they released a new batch with lower price. I guess they were having a hard time selling them for $850 USD a piece :p

    Thanks for this video mate. I have 2x KWC 1911 and I love them, and really wanted to see this Inokatsu against them. Really ugly magazine, why the hell they used KJW, really sad, if it would fit KWC I would REALLY think about getting it just for the real steel !!! BTW If you want to fit your KWC a real wooden grips here is my video for it maybe it will help you th-cam.com/video/GgQtJ_2FRAw/w-d-xo.html :) BTW2 great lightning conditions, and sound of the gun

      AwesomesauceME08 Hehe. Opinions vary greatly on this gun. Is it supposed to be half-badly made to replica the circumstanses it originates from, or is it just an overpriced piece of steel?

  • @majormassenspektrometer
    @majormassenspektrometer 9 ปีที่แล้ว

    LOOL is that a joke? Almost 900 Dollars for such a crap and "normally" you wouldn't even get a magazine with the pistol? Why in the world would someone pay that amount of money for something which only pretends to be an object that can be had for far less money with better build quality that actually IS a 1911 pistol. ^^
    How could that crooked slide make it through QC? And then you should ask yourself how in the world are the work ethics there at Inosuckso.
    Sorry, but not even the WW2 built ones have such a sloppy machining and EVEN THE WW1 made 1911s have BETTER machining! Over 100 years old and they still fuck it up. That's an accomplishment right there folks. Get a Turkish made Tisas 1911, a REAL one for 400 dollars and you will get better quality than this piece of crap for less than half the price that actually can shoot.

      ***** Indeed. :o

    • @majormassenspektrometer
      @majormassenspektrometer 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Non Existent Hopefully you already sold that POS. Some are really blinded by the price tag and need to believe this is the best airsoft 1911. LOL
      The safety issue is something that would get a manufacturer of real firearms in deep deep shit. A recall of all pistols would be issued.

    • @CJAwesome83
      @CJAwesome83  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** Unfortunately not. It's kind of hard to sell a 800 USD PoS :p

      you can get a KWA M1911 A1 for better quality than that POS. its nearly 7 or 8 times cheaper and its a lot better machined then this.
