FML: Inokatsu Colt 1911A1 functions check sale fail :(

So this was a video I was recording because I had a buyer lined up for my Inokatsu Colt 1911A1 full steel CO2 GBB pistol.
My gun is brand new in box, never fired. So I assumed it was fine, right.
Fortunately the buyer asked me to do a functions and firing test before sending it over.
And that's when I realized, this gun is the worst pistol I have ever bought... Period.
#1. Safety issue. If you cock the hammer, engage the safety, hold in the grip safety and pull the trigger, then take it off of safe, the hammer will drop. Not expected behavior and very dangerous too. Unfortunately this is a known problem on KJW 1911s (which the INO is based on) and it stems from there being too much play between the parts in the gun.
#2. Light striking. How the hell do you make a CO2 powered gun and then put in a too weak hammer spring? :o
Got half-powered shots when test firing initially. Fixed by putting a BB under the hammer spring.
#3. The death blow... The friggen slide catch pops out of place when firing due to recoil. WHAT?!
I am so over this gun I am almost ready to go throw it in the trash man... :-(

Yep, Many people have told me the gun isn't worth buying but I still want one.
That's a glorious sound. Oh man, I just can not see myself paying full price for that thing.
It's really loud on CO2, I can tell you that much. But still not worth it :p
The design of the magazine killed my interest on this model. R.I.P.

Check out the Cybergun/KWC 1911 series instead, much better value for the price! :-D

@@CJAwesome83 I just bought the KWC 1911 CO2 with parkerized finish. Looks really most authentic to me.
its steel..i easily can fix the problems. The zink alloy shits are totally garbage. I had 3 model (umarex,cybergun,kwc)..they looks cheap, sounds cheap.

I’d buy this purely for fiddling with, the sound of that slide, hammer and trigger reset is rather realistic, and the fkn noise on co2 is epic

#1 should happen if they are mimicking the actual 1911, the grip and thumb safeties are active safeties, meaning they only block when not in the proper position. Unless you are saying if you pull the trigger and hold the grip safety at the same time, then release both and afterwords disengage the thumb safety, and the hammer releases. Then that is a malfunction.
Otherwise it is mimicking the control function of the series 70 and prior 1911. I can't speak on the Series 80 with it's safety plunger and lever. I have zero experience with them as they are A. Not as common as Series 70, B. those that do have series 80 pistols in my experience retrofit them to a series 70 FCG when they have a trigger job done.
If the former, that is perfectly safe and done on purpose.
Hi there. I love your videos, especially the CAM870 instruction videos, which helped me a lot, when I tried to reassemble my M model. One thing I miss though, and that goes for basically every video I have seen, is a glimps down the barrel, especially models like the Inokatsu. I am a sucker for realism and the inner barrel is where most softairguns comes short. But thanks again for your videos :)

Is there any way to prevent the slide stop part from escaping?
My INNO 226 isn't any better, it's been a constant headache since I've got it, I've had to mill the frame several times In order to allow clearance for real steel components as the oem ones failed. It's astonishing how shitty they perform for the price. Inokatsu clearly didn't expect anyone to be foolish enough to skirmish it haha.

Try stretching the magazine spring, the additional pressure sometimes help slide catch work better.
I will give that a try. It almost seemed like the gas magazine worked OK but the CO2 one didn't. But then again the gas mag has about half of the recoil so...
The pistol needed more time to get it right and i believe they are now just a collector's item but i'm sure you could get a good smith to correct these problems.

Know something crazy I found a couple of these online for 1000-1500 usd but on some airsoft forum a guy sold his for like 350, someone is one lucky bastard 😂
The original release was around $850 - $1000 USD and a limited production run that was hand finished, which this one is. A few years later Cybergun released a new mass produced version at a much lower price of $350 USD, which is probably the one the guy on the forum bought. So nothing lucky about it, except waiting and not paying an insane price for this piece of sh*t pistol :-p

Is this thing still for sale out of interest?
Maybe the slide notch just kicks the slide stop down, as seen at 5:03. Combined with a weak mag spring, it can't lock properly. Maybe if you put a buffer on the recoil spring guide (like a steel shim + rubber shim, KJ 1911s have them) to reduce the slide travel JUST a few millimeters it may work. You may not be able to powerstroke the thing after this tho.
If firearms can lock on the last round, meh, it's gotta be weak springs !

I can see the recoil spring through the slide. Is this normal? Is it allow to use KJW Co2 mag?
Yes, a small gap between the slide and frame is normal. And yes it can use KJW CO2 magazines.
But what if i fix all parts schim etc upgrade with maple leaf hop unit key maple leaf 60+ diamond bucking and crazy jet barrel then it would shot lite over 50 meters away with 0,25. or is there outher problems also not stated? Also Do WE co2 and Green gasers 1911 magg fitt this?
Don't think WE 1911 magazines fit in this. And even if you did all those fixes to this I still think it's a terrible purchase.

best video on youtube, 100% feel you... not. Inokatsu sold these only to europe and the US and it was some nice cash crap, it only worked though until all 100 pieces were sold because otherwise they would not have sold em to retailers.

Jesus this whole brand seems like its not to be trusted... A lot of people complaining about their M4's, 1911's, and their P226's (and I'm sure much more).

Only thing they got going for them is that their guns are steel.. (externally for the most part atleast)
no harm but my glock vfc umerex17 with enhanced recoil spring is absolutely amazing sounding when the slide is released ,as close to the real glock sound and relise as you can get ,just get a enhance recoil spring.
it is so worth the £20 quid or whatever it cost if you are a collector and can,or wont buy one of these
over priced pistols (cost more than the real steel counterparts depending on the make)get a vfc enhanced recoil spring guide snappy is a under statement without the price ps i think this looks shit,again for the price ..

But I have to say, you did a pretty good job with the finish. Still not worth the price tag in my opinion. The backside of the slide still looks pretty damn rough. Damn, Inosucksu... lol

A grand for an unreliable piece of pitted steel? The texture looks shitty. Gun doesnt function 100% Ill get a real 1911 for the same price.

Dude....too much over exaggeration...I couldn't go deaf when shooting a real steel Glock 19 and a para ordnance 1911... don't get me wrong I like airsoft but it's sound is nothing compare to real steel...
I can't recall exactly what I said but I don't think I compared it to neither shooting a real gun nor going deaf but I did say it was loud and it was, for me at least, borderline that I wanted ear protection.
