    Awesome video. I just have a *small* complaint about how you present some of the gear. You specifically mention the Orison, Seventh Heaven, Ebers, and Theophany sets. The actual sets associated with the lost Amdapori culture are the Healers, Orison, and Seventh Heaven sets. Ebers was the creation of the artisan Grenolt of the First Shard and Theophany is the creation of Tataru Taru, formerly of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. I appreciate the effort put into this accounting, but I wouldn't want to rob those remarkable craftspeople the credit for their work. Not many have the ability to craft such a set of garments for modern practitioners of such a historied art.

      Ah that's my bad, should have double checked on that. Thank you for the correction!

    You nailed the documentary vibe, it was a pleasure to watch! The "expert" talking about the history is a great detail, as well as the "on site" footage, really gives it a distinct flare from simple game footage.
    As a black mage I learned of whm's history from their pov, and other in depth videos, which actually made me love red magic even more when I got to it. If you ever get to doing a vid on it, it'd be a great follow-up to the survivors of both disciplines who got together and created something "better" (in terms that rdm use their own aether, hence the speed but reduced dmg).
    In any case I love your videos and healer shorts!

    What a nice lore video! Would be great to hear about all healers like that (especially AST :D). We're so different yet so alike, and its great. Just gotta make sure we won't accidentally destroy a world or two :D Also, awesome take on including the interview parts! And, as always, thank you for your hard work.

    I like this approach of lore expo videos. It reminds me a little of VaatiVidya's style of commentary on Dark souls lore. well choreographed and easy to follow visuals that goes with the storytelling. well done.

    I want to say you have a fantastic approach to the presentation of the lore within a documentary style format. I do hope that in future videos, you might tone down the background music a little bit.. it was drowning out some of what you had to say in the voice overs. Other than that.. it was *chef's kiss* :)

      thank you for your feedback! can you point out the specific part that the music is too loud please? or is it the whole video?

    I wanted to comment this under your most recent video. But thank you sm for your guide videos, you cater towards aesthetic while keeping functuality in mind and I appreciate it sm! I was also wondering, you're a scholar main, would you happen to also have a good summoner hotbar loadout? Id love to see a video on more guides/hotbar loadouts for other classes as I really like the ones you have come up with. Thank you!

    Though Ididnt quite get the part with the armor sets... after, they were created by current day crafters and some of them (Grenold and Tataru) with no prior connection to Amdapor.
    That being said, love it ^.^ A beautiful video with stunning visuals and perfect shots! Hats off, my good Sir!

    The presentation is great! But sadly, there are some important inaccuracies. It's not lore-accurate for roleplay education.
    It's part of the conjury questline that properly trained conjurers do not use their own aether to cast their healing spells.
    The video suggests they use their own aether and suggests they augment with wind and earth aether to cast more powerful spells. However, conjurers can only use ambient aether safely and they are rigorously trained not to use their own. The ambient aether they use is what is in the air, the environment, especially free aether from death and decay that hasn't returned to the star or crystalized into shards or materia. They also don't use corrupted or over-aspected aether. White mages have another source of aether, the star itself, leading to the perils of the War of the Magi.
    It's also very important that they heal with balanced aspects and polarities of aether, not solely with earth and wind aspected aether. When they use stone and aero, those are damaging spells, meant to maim or disrupt the targets corporeal aether. Each person has their own balance of corporeal aether and that must be matched closely.

    @kohlicoide2258 ปีที่แล้ว

    "So you need a shitton of aether to cast Benediction?" "Jep" "And you give me a Benediction i second before i use my Superbolide?" "Jep... " "Well.. happens, lol!"
