Awesome!! So glad to hear it!! My reassembly video got taken down for a music copyright thing so I am trying to fix that as we speak and get it back up. Glad it helped and thanks for commenting!!
Would the swingarm be pretty much identical to a 1996? I have mine on the lift right now for a new swingarm and there aren't any videos of swingarm replacement for evo. Also are the bushings just for the shocks or does the swingarm have bushings next to the bearings with the circlips?
I got the scissor lift jack on. Amazon. If I remember I will post up a link tomorrow. If you’re going that deep yes replace all seals and gaskets on the primary. Buy Harley from the dealer. Same price but better fitment and seal IMO.
@@YogisCycleService hell yeah brother please and thank you im literally guiding myself through you’re video. I got the same set up except the lift i wanna get the same one you got and want to know what i have to order from harley so i try to do everything on point
Like the way you edited the video. I will say if you mix up the rear wheel spacers on that you might want to put the wrenches down and step away from the lift. LOL I have found that Snap-on 1/4 inch drive is your friend. When getting to those bolts that have little room around them the smallness is great. I grab my 1/4 stuff before my 3/8 stuff. I say Snap-on because I found them to be the best. I also think that one should help small distributors like Yogi and his Amsoil business. Anyway cant wait to see it going back together. Also I know its a broken record but when you do the rocker covers I have an inch pound torque wrench for going back together. So I was thinking about you saying there are different length bolts. I was cool because that will mess with people. Then it hit me you are doing these vids not for us, but so you can review later where all that stuff goes. I know I forgot already and just finished watching this. Really do enjoy this channel.
Chuck Habrack thanks brother. Yeah the spacers on this one are self explanatory but some other models aren’t as clear cut. I had fun doing this one and yeah I can’t wait to get it running also. Still waiting on parts.....
@@YogisCycleService See, you could do a set of meathooks while you wait so no time is lost...Do have one question about those why didn't you use a hammer to beat the wires through the bars. I thought that was Harley repair rule number one. If it wont go use a bigger hammer. No, throwing them is not the same.
@@YogisCycleService I've had the same issue twice with 30,000 miles 13 deluxe. Changed the pivot bearings out and the swingarm feels like it's getting stuck or binding somewhere
I went to Harley and made a set from them. For this video series I tried to cut corners and got james gaskets and a few days later it started leaking again so I am now faced with tearing it apart again and I actually hope to do that in the next few weeks. Long story short just get it from Harley. Costs the same and works much better, you will be much happier.
I have the same exact bike year end color my schifter labarre when I put it to first gear just stays down there and I have to manually bring it up to the neutral position before I can shift it into second but it just stays up in the air in second gear not going back to that neutral position. Would you happen to know what my problem would be somebody said my Springs might have broke or something like that.
Captains vLogs honestly the first place I would start is taking off your shifter pegs and levers and pulling the shifter arm out of the sleeve. Clean it and grease it and put it back in the sleeve and see if that fixes it. Happened to me and I thought my transmission was toast but all it was is the shifter arm binding up. I will do a video about that shortly. It reminded me of that problem thank you. Wish I could show you via pictures what I mean. If confused look up my Instagram page and send me a message. May be easier to explain with pics
How you doing Yogi I run across your video , My question is , I have a 2004 fat boy , The left side back Fender rail I would call it, That holds the fender on , You have 2 bolts going in The swing arm below the seat , and 3 on the side of the Fender , One of my bolts broke In the swing arm , Will that affect anything me rideing the bike until I can get the bolt out , Appreciate and answer thank you john
Good question. That bolt below the seat is actually part of the frame also and is not the swingarm. The swingarm moves as the bike moves but the fender remains still so if 1 bolt is missing that’s below the seat I do t think it a deal killer just get it fixed soon.
@@YogisCycleService Thank you much , I have been really looking at it , I have been riding it for the last 3 days but it really bothers me , Not going to be much more riding here in kind of rain , That is when I am going to pull her down and try to get the broken bold out and fix it correctly , Thank you again Yogi be safe bro
Legion Ukraine thank you!!! Got it in Kherson. Need to get the color touched up. The yellow faded and the blue is starting to fade some too. Colors just don’t work well with me.
Thank you, I have a inner gear shifter seal that needs to be replaced on my 02 heritage your video helped a lot 👍

Price went up, it was only $70 back 4 years ago when I got it. Works well though, very happy with it

Chuck Habrack lol don’t think I didn’t consider a hammer lol. Growling to scare them through didn’t work either.
What caused your shock bolt to break? I am having the same problem
I am guessing age and mileage, its a 2003 with 103,000 miles on it and that was the stock bolt

Were you able to get the complete primary gasket , seal , and 'O' ring set ? And if so where did you find it at? I have a 97 sts with the same leak.
