It takes a real man to handle this level of disturbing and be open to new things (adjusting to it was what I needed to do first though) and that includes new ways to make a game, I love this because it goes against the norm and a game that is show not tell, Spider The Video Game (PS1) by BOSS Game Studios is actually the closest thing to this game in many ways but Scorn is something else.

Honestly the game was meh... but the last quarter actually started to be surprisingly good and I think they should've made the whole game like that. But it could've been anything else I guess, so much of what the game could've been has been lost because of mediocre gameplay and basic puzzles.
I don't really need someone to expositing info at me, that being said from what I've seen the environment/environmental storytelling isn't sufficient enough to explain what's happening, and the environment itself is so alien I can't really tell what things are it's not like it's a city where there are things to read and so on. The game advertised that you have choice but the only choice you got was the unintuitive saw or scoop section, a lot of the puzzles seemed to be meh other than the one where you turn the rings to push all the orbs in place, the gunplay also seemed to be meh. Apparently, the creator came out and basically said that it was a all in le head dream. Also at least for me, I had to do a heavy deal of inferring to even assume what was happening, the $40 price tag didn't help either.
