  • Swahili is the most common language spoken in Africa after Arabic and French. It is an official language of Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. Many people also speak it in Angola, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mozambique, Zambia, and other countries in Africa.
Elie Muhanano grew up speaking Swahili in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Music became Elie's passion. He later moved to Rwanda and began teaching music to children. Elie said, "I love children so much, for me they are joy makers!" Elie composed this song in Swahili and English and recorded it at a studio in Rwanda.
Enjoy this music video with scenes of African animals, plants, and geography.
