      I’ve been looking for your comment for awhile, is there a size specific shock that I need? I know this is 2 years old but I pray for an answer lol

    Don't you have to feed the black bolts through the spacer first? Turning them into studs effectively. 3" sounds like coil bucket contact will be hell without UCA and pretty rough ride.

      I have a 4 inch lift on my 2012 pro4x and regret buying a 2.5" cause I didnt know the original owner had installed ome 1.5" lift struts already. I get coil bucket contact every bump. And my struts are blown out too

    be careful i added a 2/12 leveling kit on the front of my 2012 nissian pro4x. and after a year, i had to rotate the tires, and found the front tires were seriously warn on the outside of both. i am not sure if i needed a frontend alignment after i put them on. but instead of messing with the frontend alignment, i just now took the kit off. not sure if this will happen to every nissan but wanted to pass this on to you guys.

    • @jnlgarage6369
      @jnlgarage6369  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to get a front end alignment after a leveling kit for sure. It changes the angles between the upper and lower control arms which is what throws the top of the tire out.

    I went to the supreme website. When I choose the leveling kit. It defaults to 2" on the front. And 1" on the back. Is it always lower on the rear?

    • @williamenglish7599
      @williamenglish7599 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question, I'm having trouble figuring out that to.

    • @billybob5782
      @billybob5782 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes because the rear sits higher than the front

    • @jnlgarage6369
      @jnlgarage6369  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes so the rake you see in the truck when stock is 'supposed' to be compensated with the shorter blocks however most people see better results with just the leveling kit up front and no blocks at all

    What's the largest tire you can fit without rubbing? 33's?

    • @jnlgarage6369
      @jnlgarage6369  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not exactly sure. Guy who owns the truck is running a metric tore rn which i think measures around 32.4. But they arent quite 12.50 wide so may experience some scrubbing

  • @MARCOS44786
    @MARCOS44786 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    What size of tire you gotta for 3 inches lift in the front and 2 inches rear back ..let me know please

    • @jnlgarage6369
      @jnlgarage6369  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      this guy has ran 31s all the way to 35s. pretty sure the 35s rubbed terribly. 31s were a nice fit. pushing the limit while filling the fender fully, i would stick with a 33

      @jnlgarage6369  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@vulcanpilot-go7dj it could if you have some kind of extended dealer/factory warranty. I would check. But i believe as far as a standard drivetrain warranty goes it shouldnt effect it.

      You can't put the 3 or 3.5inch supreme lift only the 2.5 or less (for the pro4x)

    • @levielizondo5991
      @levielizondo5991 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dannyg5636 correct and false. You can have 3 to 3.5" but you'll have to buy and install aftermarket ucas. Which are pretty pricey if you ask me. But without aftermarket ucas you gonna really increase the risk of CBC. I think youd probably have like and inch or 2 of clearance between the uca and bucket which is barely anything

    • @dannyg5636
      @dannyg5636 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but it does not fit without adding to the product. So answer on it's own is still no and that's what I was getting to.

    I see that you don't use rear lift Kit. But with this 3" kit the truck is level with the rear fender?

    • @jnlgarage6369
      @jnlgarage6369  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes we originally planned to add a rear lift if needed. But after realizing it was level it was not needed. But all trucks sit different so yours may need a rear lift.

    Nice vid gonna definitly do the leveling kit just was wondering when you separated the spindle and the upper ball joint did you just use a sledge and punch? And did you end up putting on the bump stop or do you run it without it and if you did does it cause any problems? Thanks

    • @jnlgarage6369
      @jnlgarage6369  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We ran it without bump stops because it physically would not fit. Guy is still driving this truck daily with no issues. Honestly cant remember how I removed it all 🤦‍♂️
