You are one of those rare gems yourself. You enjoy what you do and you are able to have loads of fun while doing this.
That is special and will carry on for generations. You already have 3 generations in my family alone that watch your videos.
One thing that I question even though you are a expert and I am a novice. I have always felt you take too much from the stones because you prefer oval cuts . There is something to be said with odd shapes as well. You cut a knobby here not so long ago that looked like a turtle. But you turned it into a much small oval.
Some of the best pieces I have ever seen are more free formed rather than all the standard cuts. Nature spent so much time creating these gems that sometimes it's a shame to change the way nature created it.
But everyone had their own opinions. I happen to love more stone for the money .
You are fantastic at what you do. And this family will always enjoy it. We also watch Opal hunters as well. We just love opals like you wouldn't believe.
So a huge thank you from the states. My time in Australia was awesome. My Aussie wife loves it here. She loves snow. Even when snow has covered our area we can still sit next to a fire and watch your videos. You can say you have touched thousands of people around the world. We thank you.
