Really cool episode! It shows how you guys are changing with the times and adapting to the new direction the city is going. Great editing too everything flowed good guys 👏🏻 can't wait for the next one
one thing thetas bad is if you show up to customer only to find out you need to order parts and have to come back, if they leave it at a shop then you can order parts and not have to rush and have to come back to the customer, they just pick it up when your done way better and less stress. working outside is only good in the summer.
North Carolina Has No Major Ebike Laws We Can Ride With Or Without A Helmet And We Can Ride In The Bike Lanes Or Streets And We Can Ride Dirt Bikes On The Streets
This is the best option for getting around that stupid regulations. Many stores don't even build battery packs. The next step that would shutdown this nonsense of batteries exploding is to sell them without the pack and offset the price so the buyer can purchase a battery pack else where. Also FYI these Frankenstein battery packs are made in low cost scooter shops around NYC like Wilson E bike, Speedway Riders. Don't hang the good shops that have the crap together.
Its not delivery bikes lol. Its actually the cheap batteries people buy. Those type of companies cut every corner you can name. Just open it up and see for yourself. The biggest mistake is using wires with cheap plastic insulation. What happens is that the batteries heat up and they end up burning the insulation basically exposing the wires to the wrong terminals of the batteries and boom! An easy fire! So people be very careful buying cheap batteries. Stick to known sources like for one powerful lithium is a great company and they do custom batteries. also “upp” short for “unit pack power!” They also use high quality cells and build them properly! Good luck
That’s a good point but majority of all those delivery bike gets modified to run faster and last longer range . I saw for my self . There’s a video in the library that shows it
Changing a 20$ scooter tire on a 125$k truck. You lose 5% per hour parking outside in NYC winters. Other YTers show that. This is gonna fail this winter.
1:15 Why do people think working on bikes and scooters makes you a mechanic?! Turning a nut?! No..... I'm not a dinner mechanic cause I made dinner last night. Nor am I a shoe mechanic cause I super glued my boots. People in NYC are so unbelievably dumb. Its why I left NJ for Detroit.
A mechanic is a skilled tradesperson who uses tools to build, maintain, or repair machinery. And, she is a mechanic. She is a knowledgeable car and motorcycle mechanic who also works on electric bikes and scooters. Why can't you wrap your brain around that?
So you move to Detroit and you think oh how smart I am. If I think the area I'm living I is a total pit abd the people are dum. So I'll make a mistake that's even 10 times Dumber I'll just move to Detroit with it's extremely low crime rates. Maybe you can now buy yourself a bullet proof vest. Should have picked Chicago😂
@NavinJohnson_thethird He's extremely smart he moved to Detroit that shows just how smart that person is. They are upset because they need someone to air up their tires and can't figure it out😂 Working on electric scooters us harder than that moron thinks it is. Try doing a tubeless tire. Not the easiest task.
