The highest compliment is the look of wonder and amazement from the peers. I was watching the other musicians not knowing how to react to what they were hearing.
is that Fedor Rudin in the 1st fiddle section, third chair? maybe just someone who looks like him. i'm guessing he's the one who threw in a couple of add libs, like at 2:35. interesting performance!
i think he was trying to see the conductor, seeing his cue, to come in the music simultaneously. looking from a farther distance it is obvious that he turns to the conductor now and then when there is a brief pause and the soloist and the orchestra has to start simultaneously. he is focused on his performance and the finest quality of music he can give to the audience..
Those harmonics are INSANE. Roman Kim is truly UNDERRATED.
EDIT: I got to the part of left hand pizzicato, and I had to start laughing at that insanity. How can someone be soooo good?
I just don’t understand why isn’t he recognized as the greatest of all time
i love to see that the orchestra members are also enjoying the performance immensely. now and then they are marveled and smiling😄
Dude his left hand pizzicato is insane! Most crisp I've ever heard and so is everything else it's just awesome!
4:33 MAGIC!
Incredible performance of this piece. His tone sounds beautiful.

If you don't have goosebumps upon listening to this, everytime, I don't know what are you...

I've never seen the violin played like that in my life that was so amazing. I didn't know something like that was possible. He's incredible!!!
oh my, incredible performance! Where even the professional musicians in the orchestra are impressed!
I will definitely fly to anywhere to see his performance once or more in my life time.
BRAVISSIMO!!!

What was that in minute 2:35 😅
Look like some other good violinist is playing some random good stuff in the orchestra!
Eccellente performance
toll!
Unfassbar!
I think he can beat all the world top tier violists so far, not a bit but by miles.
Absolutely Paganini included
Muito bom.
Music @ 01:19
Ha! Amidst his incredible fiddling, at 2:36 he even manages to squeeze in a little flirting with the lovely woman on the right.
davehshs i think he’s just looking at the conductor

No, they were all just smiling at the wry little “fill” that came in around then.

Bravo Roman !
Audiences just witnessed the 2nd coming of Paganini.. 😮
I am a convert now.
神品
The true Paganini of today.
He definitely practices more than 40 hours a day😅

Yup, devil reincarnated on Paganini , then on him. Devil is with us, right now. So lucky to live and exist at the same time
Inhuman virtuosity.
