It was an unbelievable show; I can still feel the vibe of the music now- raw, emotional, real- as Chester belting out the lyrics to a crowd that hung on every word. And Chris Cornell- my Idol- is Not Dead- I hear him EVERYTIME I PUSH PLAY.

Stevie Nicks was...without doubt...THE WORST concert i EVER WENT TO. Pissed because I flew to New Zealand and bought 2 tickets to shows on 2 nights. Admittedly it wasn't for Nicks...but John Farnham. Nicks had half the audience walk out on her. She was atrocious. I had seen her years ago with Mac and loved that show??? She was bloody awful. The next night she demanded she go first ON STAGE ....so people couldn't leave...most went and sat at the bar until Farnham came on.She was like a screeching witch....THE WORST. Thank God for Farnham...over 100 live concerts and ..I have never been disappointed. After meeting Miss Gladys Knight and having a meet and greet...she was another off my bucket list...My only one left is Steve Perry. He is the last on my list I have never gotten to see.. C'mon Steve!! I will even fly 16 hours and break my back in an uncomfortable QANTAS seat..... for 1 performance.

Personally, I would go with Steve Perry for number one, Freddie Mercury for number two, and then Robert plant for number three. That's just my opinion.
You cannot deny that Mercury is the greatest. His voice was an amazing instrument and thing of beauty. along with his charisma, creativity, showmanship and sense of fun the man was one of a kind and an icon. I also feel that at #2, Robert Plant deserves to be one of the top. His voice range, his emotions and. his distinctive voice is something to remember and cherish. Listening to Plant sing Since I've Been Loving You is raw and emotional. Listening to Kashmir he takes you on a magic carpet ride through the distant lands. His voice, along with Jimmy Page's outstanding guitar make Stairway to Heave the best rock song of all time.

@@ptlatham7488 , Steve Perry did not have an 8 octave vocal range. That would be pretty much impossible. The fact is that Steve Perry had a 4 octave vocal range which is still large. Steve Perry is my favorite singer, just so you know I'm not being down on him, just realistic.

You cannot deny that Mercury is the greatest. His voice was an amazing instrument and thing of beauty.
along with his charisma, creativity, showmanship and sense of fun the man was one of a kind and an icon.
I also feel that at #2, Robert Plant deserves to be one of the top. His voice range, his emotions and. his distinctive voice is something to remember and cherish.
Listening to Plant sing Since I've Been Loving You is raw and emotional. Listening to Kashmir he takes you on a magic carpet ride through the distant lands. His voice, along with Jimmy Page's outstanding guitar make Stairway to Heave the best rock song of all time.
Agreed with the Top Three though I would place Steve Perry a notch hugher than Freddie Mercury when it comes to vocals. But the seven ranks below leaves behind many influenial singers / composers who took the world by storm and some at very old age still do! Dropping Paul McCartney from the whole countdown !
