Just had mine and the wife's delivered from Amzn a few hours ago and am using mine now. They come in nice colors but I chose black for me and almond (light gray) for her. So far I'm really liking it. Sure beats back-and-forths to the microwave. Washed both of them out at the sink without submerging them, although some water did run down over the bottom. Made sure I dried them good, including the metallic nodes on bottom, and the cups went onto the charger for 15 minutes or so. They were both like 3/4 charged out of the boxes. Good purchase! Substantially a better bang for the buck than the Ember. No app? No problem with me. I have enough stuff with companion apps on my phone (four LG appliances, a little Midea ac out in the garage, my Ring security, my Deco wifi nodes, etc). Update: I do have one complaint about the mug. The handle. It's slim, mostly flat and has sharp edges. Uncomfortable. I started to send them back, actually, but after some research decided to keep them... because most of these electric mugs have similar complaints about their handles, are designed alike. This mug's price point outweighs the handle complaint. But, still, I can't fathom why most of these type of mugs go with that slender, sharp-cornered design for the handle. Because it looks more "tech"? They should have made them more rounded, easy on the hand.
after its fully charged after use, can I leave on the dock toill the next morning when I will use again or do I take off the dock in the off mode till the next morning use. don't want to burn out battery
Oh it's so hard to spend so much money on a stupid cup LOL. I have a question if the cup is fully charged and it's turned off you let it sit for a week which will never happen but we'll just say it maybe you'll go on vacation does it hold a full battery charge or will it decrease day by day and if it does decrease how fast?
I have had mine for 6 months now and it worked great but is no longer holding a charge. $100 is a lot to spend for something that has only lasted a short time.
I love mine and ordered an extra charger to heat up my soup at work.

Thank you for the video, I received one as a Christmas gift in the slate blue. I love it, works great and it doesn't need an app you use it.
Great to hear! It's pretty cool!
Looks cool, may have to give one a try in the near future.
Are the walls of the mug vacuum sealed?

I only put it on the dock when it needs charging. Otherwise can wear down battery.
