You can change it from repeater to queue, to change after a job is done but you have to remember to check on the queues

Afraid it’s only for a single video. The lack of dynamic adjustment in this game sucks, but ultimately the overlapping UI was more annoying for me and many others. I hope that the developer one day understands the importance of scalable UI, because this game really needs it

Also on pay, headhunting is the problem. Usually with starters you get graduates or about to retire (for experience) in the workforce, as its cheaper than headhunting an established person. Of course, you have a mix in real life.
However, my friend whose a researcher landed her first research job last and that was well over the top tier tax bracket (50k pa and that is in pounds sterling, so thats around 90k dollars)). So it does happen. But she was Oxbridge (Oxford University to be precise) educated so there's that.

I recommend training them as soon as u get them. Get some 80% speed guys with a high potential. Cheap and the moneys worth.
I played for about 4 hours on expert modus and got up to $120.000/day profit (after cost deductions) with 15 employees and 3 websites, my own hosting with about 8-9 racks filled and 2 rows of AC.
I didn't know you could negotiate your pay when getting a job like this :P Very educational.

This game seems really cool, I wanted to watch first to see if it was too complicated, but it seems not too bad!

I know you’re really not a fan of the big UI but it was so much easier to watch this as soon as you switched, especially on mobile.

Lol, you complained about the salary and then overpaid :P
As for employees, their current percentage is irrelevant; it's their max which is important (you want that as high as possible; 190+ for beginners).
You only need 1 researcher, 1 dev, 1 designer and 1 lead dev to start. Everyone you hire, have them train till max, then promote and train to max again. Then have them start working. Build 2-3 sites at the same time, only do e-mail marketing till you get to 1m for each site. Along the way, you will need to get a sys admin to buy new servers (only buy the most expensive). After 1m, you'll need support people. Only develop 2 features and max them till level 40 (the simplest ones), then add banner ads and start selling ads.

Could you switch the mode to queue instead of repeater when you're picking things for them to work on? I don't know but that might fix your problem with losing progress.
It doesn’t. All that does is create the possibility of them sitting there idle when their queue is done. In theory. That mode is more effective as you get exactly what you need, but the level of micromanagement is really unappealing, and gets progressively worse as you add more employees.

I answered this in a comment within another video... but the summary is, the queue requires significantly more micromanagement, and is ultimately inefficient with your time. The more employees you get, the more this is true. --- In the current version of the game though, the repeatable workload and the module queue are merged as a single thing, and it's much better (with a big flaw, IMO, but I get into all of that in later videos).
These are great series, but I think that editing is in need to skip a lot of unnecessary parts :)
Why don’t you do videos AND streams? You could do longer episodes that are recorded from the stream!

when u hire ppl and there speed is lets sat 100% whats the darker % next to that there cap with training?
Cody Stanley correct, the number in parentheses next to the work speed is the highest potential for person on that skill level, the number will raise when an employee is changed from a beginner to intermediate, and so on. It's good to focus on this number more than the base speed. The low base speed that has high potential speed with training is always better than someone with a high base speed and low potential.
You'll usually be able to barter out lower salaries with the low base speed employees too.
