After my construction company ruins down with over $900k in dept. I overheard about Governmental Grants, so I started making my research about it and how it works. After series of research, I later hire a Governmental Grant Writer and narrated all my story to him. We started all the process, and it took about a month before I was later approved and awarded a Governmental Grant of $2 million. I cleared up my dept in other to keep my credit in good state and I venture into trucking business. I'm doing perfectly well for myself now and having the most peaceful moment ever. Hey David, I have a small business that I have been working on for 10 years. It is now just starting to take off. I am cash flowing but either a large grant or low interest loan would help me expand much faster. I work in the rural market. I help process the spent grains from distilleries and turn them into human food. I don't have any experience going for grants. I was wondering what the best place to look for a loan or grant in this market. Would the food supply chain guarantee loan be the best?

I’ve worked in several unrelated industries, but feel I could qualify for many just because of my broad base skill set. Is there a grant for helping to administrate grants? This is a shocker seeing Genevieve Glen Rogers being mentioned here. I always had mixed feelings about hiring a lnvestment advisor. For the record, I started working with Genevieve in 2018, and she manages about 70% of my lnvestments, while I manage the other 30%. My philosophy is that I care more about my own money than anyone else, but she made me accept that they have wealth of information on current conditions and future trends

Old video, but I just found it and I think 1 thing that really needs to be stressed is the growth of Non-dilutive capital options. Creating a company that has solid recurring revenue, it just doesn't make sense to give up equity for funding. There are some really cool options out there including Clearbanc, Hustle Flywheel, and FundStory (kind of like a NerdWallet to compare different options). I highly recommend founders check these options out before they give up large swathes of their business.

Hey! Loved the video, if the family member wants to exit after the investment from VC how we will pay back him, the 20% of VC money or how? Please tell

If a family member wants to sell some of his shares (or ALL of his shares) when a VC enters, then of course there can be a negotiation about that with the VC. The VC could simply buy some of the family member's shares ADDITIONALLY to doing a capital raise. Usually though, the VC want to spend most of his investment on the capital raise, because this is the money that goes into the company and increases the company's value. Whereas the money, which the VC pays to a family member to buy some more shares does NOT flow into the company and therefore doesn't benefit it. In the end anything is possible - it all comes down to negotiation.
