Jude Bellingham is a player who has suffered the most at Real Madrid since Kylian Mbappe’s arrival at the club and sometimes, it’s easy to actually feel bad for him. Even though he has never been known for being an attacking midfielder as he excelled in a box to box role as a number 8, in a span of 12 months, Bellingham went from scoring so many goals week in week out, being the top scorer in La Liga in the race to win the Golden Boot as a midfielder, carrying the team at times bailing them out with game winners and equalizers to now having a different role after Mbappe’s arrival as he’s had to play much deeper, he’s being used in so many positions in a way to accommodate him in the team even though he isn’t performing and also Ancelotti is still trying to find the right formula for Madrid as a whole. It’s also crazy to me how he’s doing it all on both ends of the pitch in attack and defense, he’s had to cover so much ground do a lot more defending than before and make his presence known in midfield and yet despite the fact that he does all of the dirty work for the team, it’s going unnoticed simply that doesn’t end up on the stat sheet as people think that the game is all about goals, they don’t appreciate their true value and what they bring to a team and unfortunately modern football is just too “stat driven”. Bellingham as a midfielder was so prolific to the point where people didn’t care if he was playing badly for 90 minutes because in the same game in which he scored a goal, he would drop a stinker and no one would talk about it. This time around, when his stats aren’t as high as they were last season, people who don’t watch Real Madrid games think “he’s out of form, he’s dropped off, he’s in decline isn’t contributing to the team.” I know that Bellingham is one of the most versatile players in the world and he’s so flexible in his ability, but why is someone with that much talent playing as a right back as he’s not being used to his strengths in this team. This is another example of Mbappe’a presence in the team affecting one of their star players who was so good before he arrived. Just because he can defend, it doesn’t mean he should play as a fullback as Ancelotti is basically telling Jude to play anywhere and a world class player as good as they are can only thrive when they’re being used in a role that best suits them. It’s either he plays as an 10 or an 8 where he is able to have an actual influence on the game, when he’s playing as an attacking midfielder in a playmaker role, he shouldn’t be having more tackles and interceptions than chances created as no more experiments with him, he should never play as a right wing back or a right back and the only way he can bring out the best in these players is if he decides to play them in their position.
Yeah them playing him RB was the last straw. Carlo's dumb experiment is over, play Jude back into his best position even if it neutralizes Mbappe, I don't care really.
One of the things that I have an issue with in modern football and what managers need to change at both club and international level is the “untouchable status” of these players as apparently there’s an unwritten rule that says that “even when they’re out of form, playing badly and aren’t anywhere close to being fully fit, they have to play every minute of every game and even if they get subbed off at half time for dropping a stinker, they’ll start the next game”. It makes them so comfortable knowing full well that doesn’t matter how poorly they play as they’re guaranteed to be in the starting lineup. For example, saying that Kylian Mbappe needs to be dropped just because he’s going through a bad run of form is talking it too far as he’s their top scorer (even though a chunk of his goals are penalties) and is the only player on the team who will probably score at least 30-35+ goals per season even if it won’t be as mind blowing as we think it is, given how he has performed but I think that Carlo Ancelotti needs to find a way to manage his role and not tarnish the development of other rising stars and not playing them when one of their starters are badly out of form. There have been too many games where Mbappe isn’t contributing anything to the team as everything about his game is lacking he doesn’t look like himself and he’s not playing with the confidence that made him a dangerous player, many of the fans are losing patience in him and think that they’re better off dropping him and is only a starter and is playing because of his name and Madrid at this stage of their season can’t afford to have any passengers and they need him to rediscover his best form, if he’s not playing well looks lethargic and uninterested, sub him off or it’s best to rest him for a bit if he’s tired and is fatigued and this is not a way of saying they should drop him. This is what they should do until he’s fully comfortable in Ancelotti’s system. With Vini playing in his preferred position and he’s seen as the main man in this team, I have a feeling that his honeymoon at Madrid is over and by their fans he’s being treated as if he’s just another player on that team and in that regard, unless his performances improve which it should, I could see Ancelotti having the balls to sub him off more proving that he cares about the team and not the reputation and status of another player. Besides, resting him or subbing him off won’t be much of a concern especially when they have a talented young striker like Endrick on their bench who up until recently, he was cooking whenever he came on as a sub, I mean the guy has more goals than games started for Real Madrid which is insane for an 18 year old and he’s not gotten enough playing time since the return from the last international break, playing a goal threat alongside Mbappe is also another good option they should consider as benching him won’t do anything for his confidence it’ll make things worse for him. He needs to find form for Madrid before Ancelotti himself starts to lose patience with him just like the fans.
Honestly this team has been asleep since the season started. This Barca loss should wake them up and realize that they are worse than they were last season. Mbappe is starting to lose trust from everyone in the team. Hopefully things change in the match against Milan.
I'll be so glad if our comments and opinions were riched out there by the Club owners,,Coaching stuff and players ,,because it hurts to see our club in this situation,,it true that we need Gular,Endrick to get more minutes,,Bellingham must switch back to his attacking midfield,,Mbappe must watch from the bench,,prays for our no1 goalkeeper to stay fit at all times Thibaut Courtios,,in the case of Ballon Dor i wish the players to let it go,just forget about it,,this controversy is designed to distroy this club,,i wish everyone to deeply understand that,,nothing has changed Vini just keep focus continue with your brilliant play,,help the club help your team mate to achieves more and more silver ware,Real Madrid has never ever have draught of Trophies and that why we are seating no 6th with 96 silverware so far,,so boys i trust you to bounce back into winning ways,,6points is nothing as long as you got to win every match from now going forwad the season is too long everyone still have to drop points somehow,,so for you just focus play as a team not individually
Believe me that they know every possible thing they can do, it's just that Don Carlo doesn't want to try new things. I truly hope he plays Guler more. Benching Mbappe seems unrealistic in my opinion. Bellingham going back to 10 is the main priority imo.
Playing Militao as a right back to cover up for Vazquez being a defensive liability it depends on who Madrid are playing against. This is what they need to do in big games until Carvajal returns to fitness. If they’re going up against a fast skillful and pacy winger, then that’s where Militao will be used as a right back if they want to be defensive minded in that regard and he has played there at times
Going forward, Arda Guler needs to get more game time as his situation at Real Madrid is honestly sad to see and Carlo Ancelotti’s treatment towards him is an absolute joke. For the first month of the season, he was coming off the bench, he got an occasional start here and there played decently got subbed off and then after that he had a string of games where he was rotting the bench and in recent weeks especially after the international break, it seems as if he has been frozen out of the team and is barely getting any minutes. Even with Rodrygo being injured and even when he’s fit, Guler is probably the only natural right winger and creative player in this team and yet he still can’t get a game as at this point, Ancelotti doesn’t know what to do with him and as much as he wants him to prove himself and earn a spot in the team which is the right approach to have as a manager, as he wants him to add consistency to his game and improve as a whole, for a young player, I don’t see how he’s helping his confidence. Even if they had 100+ injuries to all of their attacking players, he still wouldn’t play him, ok that’s over-exaggerating I’m not saying. It’s not as if he’s dealing with any injuries like he went through at the start of last season and even after staying healthy for a certain period of time after an injury plagued start to his Real Madrid career, you’re telling me that sometimes he still doesn’t play. The fact that he disagreed with his own son in regards to how he’s using him, it’s a sign that there’s a potential lack of trust between the player and the manager and there are things that he notices in training maybe he’s not working hard or has a negative attitude or body language we don’t know as it would be unfair to say that he has an agenda against him. Based off how he plays for the Turkey national team as he’s basically their best player and watching him ball out at the EUROs, it’s clear that Guler is an excellent player when he’s on a system that allows him to flourish, he doesn’t get any of that at Real Madrid. As young as he is with a lot of time on his side, as I said before, a player of his ability is genuinely too good to be a “benchwarmer” as he needs to play. No one is saying that he should be an automatic starter, at least try and give him a chance as start him in a couple of games and see how he performs and on top of that, if they’re going to bring him on as a sub, try and do it during a time where Madrid have something to play for as he should be getting 30-35+ minutes and not bring him on with less than 10 minutes to go where they expect him to change the game like that. With every passing game in which he has steadily seen a reduce in his minutes, there’s a feeling that he’s going to want out of the club very soon and will feel like going on loan is the best option for him, I hope it doesn’t get to that point as in order for Real Madrid to kickstart their season and find some form is try to give Guler a role and not destroy his confidence even more.
I swear we have been preaching this for this entire year. Güler is still being very patient with his play time. Which shows his maturity, but if Carlo doesn't start giving him more minutes then Guler might have to go.
Definitely agree with your points bro 1Rotations(Fede needs rest) 2 Both rodrygo and Bellingham as 10s rodry covering right side jude on the left 3 Endrick is needed it might be controversial but i think RIGHT NOW Endrick MIGHT be a better finisher new needs more minutes 4 Arda is definitely needed man that boy is a gem i know modric did a lot for our club but it's arda time now 5 I think carlo is still not using tchouameni to his maximum potential compared to Deschamps i still want to see cama tchou pivot 6 Mendy gotta step the FUCC UP!!! MOST IMPORTANTLY THE WHOLE TEAM GOTTA STEP UP!!! HALA MADRID ⚪
Louder with the Fede needs rest because if he gets injured, Carlo will regret playing him so much. Arda needs to play in his natural position which is CAM instead of being played extremely deep. Tchouameni has been disappointing but I believe he'll get back into form soon.
What we should focus on is how can we bring the best out of Kylian Mbappe who we all thought would make this team unstoppable after they signed him and outside of a couple of goals, he has been disappointing hasn’t added anything to the team they look as if they’re weaker compared to last season, his overall game has been poor, missing big chances, sometimes it’s easy to forget he’s on the pitch during certain games, I also saw an unwanted stat he wouldn’t want to look at, as he’s been caught offside more times than any other player in the top 5 leagues in Europe this season and if he keeps playing like this, do they need to send his ass back to that prison at PSG or does he need to start learning Arabic (JK) and a player who has suffered from his arrival is Jude Bellingham and while some of that is down to his lack of goals and he’s had to play in a deeper role and remind me why Ancelotti is playing him as a right back again and at times has played as a winger, anyways what’s his best position is he at his best as a number 10 or as a number 8 as those 2 roles best suits his strengths although he’s very versatile. Mbappe has yet to truly click in the same team alongside Vini and Bellingham. Forgot to mention that Rodrygo is injured and while it’s true that many football fans know he’s at his best off the left and he’s not a right winger, at the same time, what’s his best role in the team is he a starter or a sub since on the pitch he’s a difference maker, no one wants to see a player of his caliber on the bench. Making sure that Fede Valverde isn’t used like a “hot bar of soap”, and despite his importance to the team as it’s difficult to leave him out, sooner or later they have to rest him before he picks up an inevitable season ending injury which can’t happen to him as his face is probably red after every game. What about the concerns over Arda Guler and Endrick as both of them have struggled for minutes since the resumption from the last international break and imagine a team having 2 of the most talented young players in world football on the bench just for them to be an unused substitute in favor of a guy who hadn’t played in a month. Guler’s situation is more worrying than Endrick’s as for some reason there have been games where Ancelotti himself is refusing to use him as I saw a source where he disagreed with his son over his playing time even when one of their important players is injured. Thibaut Courtois has gone through some injury issues recently, when he’s fit, he’s a nailed on starter and while in his absence, this has given Andriy Lunin more opportunities, for the sake of his career is he satisfied with his role of being a rotation player and only getting minutes when 1. First choice players are injured suspended and are resting 2. Become a starting player, since he’s honestly too good to be backup Who’s going to offer the creativity in the midfield, are they going to keep covering up for the attacking players who have made it clear to everyone that they don’t track back which leaves the team vulnerable defensively, how can they work around that, who’s going to replace Dani Carvajal at right back, when is David Alaba returning as well since he hasn’t played in over a year, I’m pretty sure some people have already forgotten about him, what players do they need to sign in January, are they going to get a center back or will they decide to ignore their lack of quality depth and leave the squad as it is as the board promises they’ll make some signings only for them to still not sign players as depleted as their squad can be in certain positions, who can help Ancelotti win more games even if it means making big decisions that he would’ve made realistically madr, how can they win games convincingly while improving their level of play leading to a more cohesive style of football which has been lacking from this team, are they better off dropping Mbappe or leaving him in the starting lineup in a way to play him back in form and regain his confidence, trying to at least build better chemistry with Vini and challenge for trophies and somewhat “get their season back on track”. Real Madrid’s season is nowhere close to being over and they have to overcome a difficult period they’ve went through on and off the field and get on with what’s more important to them and we’ll see if they have enough consistency to actually have a proper title challenge in La Liga since the title race isn’t over although they’re 6 points behind Barcelona, it could be 9 points by the time this weekend is over since their game against Valencia has been postponed and whether or not they can win back to back champions league titles and Ancelotti needs to find some solutions which is going to help the team get back in form.
Honestly, as I was reading this I realized how many problems Real Madrid have rn. And on top of that they have to play 70+ games this season. The injuries will pile up. Kylian Mbappe is losing my trust, i think he'll be benched by next season if he doesn't start performing.
The past couple of days have been rough for Real Madrid both on and off the field to be honest, Vinicius Junior’s Ballon Dor snub and the soap opera and circus surrounding it: (the boycott, the team not showing up to the ceremony and all of that) was more embarrassing than their humiliation in El Classico and I’m joking when I say that. The team doesn’t look as if they’re in the best mental state right now given how things have played out in recent days as it’s clear they want to forget about it very soon and look as if they need something that’s going to motivate them. In my opinion, I think a lot of people and Madridstas need to hear this, we need to move on from “Vini’s Ballon Dor debacle” and as much as he should’ve won it, the ceremony is over, there’s nothing they can do about it and on top of that, from Madrid’s perspective they have bigger things to worry about than dwelling over one of their players not winning an award that realistically speaking, nobody cares about in 2024 no offense and is based off of politics and popularity not football. When I say they have bigger things to worry about, I’m not talking about their inevitable defeat to Barcelona that everyone saw coming as these kids went to the Bernabeu made their home a playground and turned it into a dance floor and the fact that a “certain best player in the world” can’t even stay onside to save his life, outside of a few good moments here and there and positive results, they haven’t been all that convincing as there’s more questions than answers about their team, Ancelotti has come under a lot of criticism as even the fans are starting to lose patience in him and it seems like every game, he’s making changes to the team and this isn’t a way of me saying he doesn’t know what he’s doing and that he is a bad manager from a tactical perspective and while some of that is down to injuries and we know which players are going to play, we’ve watched this team for a couple of months and I’m still not convinced he knows what his best starting lineup is that can bring out the best in everyone in the team, as there hasn’t been the right balance between their superstars and the collectiveness of the team, he can be stubborn at times with his inability to experiment and try new things. Also the reactionary behavior of the fans is annoying, but I think that people need to stop making excuses to cover up for their shortcomings and I don’t want to hear anyone bring up the fact that “they have so many injuries and they lost a club legend” when last season they were successful under those circumstances and now they’re inconsistent and aren’t playing well and that’s the only time they’ll start making weak ass excuses. Off the back of their defeat to Barcelona, they’re not entirely out of the title race yet, they’re a couple of dropped points away from doing that and with their rivals dominating La Liga and look like the best team in the world on current form as they’re focused and playing with hunger and probably, I can make a list have a lot what Real Madrid fans and a focus on and move on from the “Ballon Dor scandal” as thinking about it every day isn’t going to solve their problems
How was Vini robbed of the Ballon dor ? Do not mention that Carvajal debate either because Carvajal has never transcended what is means to be a right back, it terms of accomplishments yes, but in terms of personal perfomance he pales in comparison to the Dani Alves, Trent Arnold and such, he has'nt reinvented the role in any way. With Vini how can there be argument for him to win when the goal contributions difference between him and Rodri where literally less than 10G/A, imagine Defensive midfielder vs A WINGER that likes cutting in and scoring. Here's the home coming swing for everyone saying he was robbed, Rodri a DEFENSIVE midfielder had more international goals than Vini from the start of the COPA and EURO campaign. Yall are glazing cause he put a hattrick against a struggling Dortmund side.
How did Vini get robbed of a Ballon' dor ? The issue with Madrid and Cristiano fans is that he made you guys belive that award is a Stat award, even if it is,Vini stats for Brasil are so awful it justifies why he did not get it. Do not mention that Carvajal debate either because Carvajal has never transcended what is means to be a right back, it terms of accomplishments yes, but in terms of personal perfomance he pales in comparison to the Dani Alves, Trent Arnold and such, he has'nt reinvented the role in any way. The fact of the matter is that the award is losing its credibility with each year. And that's what happens when you change the criteria every single year. This has nothing to do with Ronaldo. Vini's country got ko'd due to Vini being suspended for the game. If we go by the criteria that Rodri won it. Then Carvajal should be the Ballon Dor winner.

ENDRICK NEEDS MINUTES and actual STRIKER….crazy how he’s not got minutes at all and when he has he’s scored….
Don Carlo just refuses to use young talents bro, he is doing the same with Güler bro.
Definitely agree with your points bro
1Rotations(Fede needs rest)
2 Both rodrygo and Bellingham as 10s rodry covering right side jude on the left
3 Endrick is needed it might be controversial but i think RIGHT NOW Endrick MIGHT be a better finisher new needs more minutes
4 Arda is definitely needed man that boy is a gem i know modric did a lot for our club but it's arda time now
5 I think carlo is still not using tchouameni to his maximum potential compared to Deschamps i still want to see cama tchou pivot
6 Mendy gotta step the FUCC UP!!!
Real !! Arda deserves more minutes
Let's swap deal Guler for Cold Palmer 🥶🧊
@ keep dreaming
😔
Become a starting player, since he’s honestly too good to be backup
Who’s going to offer the creativity in the midfield, are they going to keep covering up for the attacking players who have made it clear to everyone that they don’t track back which leaves the team vulnerable defensively, how can they work around that, who’s going to replace Dani Carvajal at right back, when is David Alaba returning as well since he hasn’t played in over a year, I’m pretty sure some people have already forgotten about him, what players do they need to sign in January, are they going to get a center back or will they decide to ignore their lack of quality depth and leave the squad as it is as the board promises they’ll make some signings only for them to still not sign players as depleted as their squad can be in certain positions, who can help Ancelotti win more games even if it means making big decisions that he would’ve made realistically madr, how can they win games convincingly while improving their level of play leading to a more cohesive style of football which has been lacking from this team, are they better off dropping Mbappe or leaving him in the starting lineup in a way to play him back in form and regain his confidence, trying to at least build better chemistry with Vini and challenge for trophies and somewhat “get their season back on track”.
This narrative that he was robbed needs to stop, Vinicius is obviously an entitled arrogant brat who wil cry at every turn of not getting something he wants and people support him.
