  • A brief video about the differences between the 3 helmets mentioned in the title. I compare the visors, weight, and more. I was doing online shopping and was wondering the differences myself, so I hope this video helps.

      The 70 has a Ram air like scoop on the top which directs a lot of air in. The 11 has smaller ones and the air flow is less noticeable. The 11 feels like it lets more air in through the chin area than the 70.

    Are the 2 rphas the same size when you look at them? Used to have the Rpha11 and loved it but ruined the eps lining because I kept hanging it on my mirrors. Was thinking of getting the Rpha70 this time round.

    Is the shell on the 70 noticeably larger than the shell on the 11? Thanks

    🇨🇦 im forced to order online due to covid, looking at the rpha 11. How is the head opening hole? It looks skinny from head on. My AGV kills my ears putting on and taking off, although feels ok on. My arai opening is much larger but its time for a new lid.

    Have you had a chance to ride with the 70 yet? How's it vent and noise? And thanks for the comparison - cheers!

      I have the 70, the air flow is pretty good, noise is average, but I always ride with ear plugs as I like it peaceful in there. Air flow depend on your bike, I had a sport screen on my bike previously and the flow was nice and breezy, but I recently upgraded to a givi touring screen and the flow stopped dramatically, had to ride with the visor open in the hotter weather. But overall a very decent helmet.

    So in the end, is it mostly choosing between the lighter weight of the RPHA 11 vs. the internal sunvisor of the RPHA 70? Are there any features that make the 11 "track-based" and the 70 "street-based"? I'm looking to get the RPHA 11 because I plan on using the dark smoked lens anyway as it looks better, but I only ride on streets with a small naked bike usually on relatively slow speeds.

      Ron Gabriel Navarro the 11 does have a little more air flow as well, but that also comes with a bit a of extra wind noise. Overall though both great helmets. The 70 does fit a little bit more snug too.

    For you, wich is the best for street and long trips? Hjc rpha 11 or rpha 70 ?

      Johnny MaxWheels I would go with the 70 for a long trip. Then you would have the convenience of having the shade and clear lenses.

    what about the ventilation between the 11 & 70? I suppose you've more experience about it since you uploaded the very good video above.

    • @rideon2-997
      @rideon2-997  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both have very good ventilation, but the 11 seems to let a little more air through. However that comes at a cost of a bit more noise

    Do the Rpha-70 fits smaller than usual? I tried both in shop in medium size. The 11 was spot on but the 70 was ultra snug. What you think?

    • @rideon2-997
      @rideon2-997  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Markezi94 I do agree. Right out of the box is snug, but once I break it in it should feel relatively the same.

      The rpha 70 sizing is one down from the 11, if you’re L in 70 you will need a XL in the 11.

    Heads-up, the HJC modular Rapha helmet I just bought was very comfortable in the showroom, and torture to wear when wearing my sunglasses, the same sunglasses that fit perfectly inside my other helmets, including an older Rapha helmet. Make sure you try the helmet with the glasses you regularly use!
