Lovely bike mate, i was quite lucky on my insurance but then again I'm on a 650 so greatly lower HP, but this is a good insight to costs on a german 1k as I love these bikes but I'm swaying towards an older R1 in the future or a Hayabusa
Thanks a lot bro. I’m glad yours isn’t also ridiculously expensive, it seems anything above 120hp and it gets mega pricey. I love the R1 💨 and I do have a soft spot for the newer gen busa’s the older ones aren’t as nice looking imo
Nice video :) how did you attach that carbon heat shield on exhaust without cat? Also only thing I dont like is belly, it should be longer, to cover exhaust pipes
Thanks very much mate! To be honest it was quite fiddly to get the carbon shield on, it will go, just angle it right and tighten it whilst holding in desired place. And yes what a great point mate, I also hate that large gap the cat leaves! I’m looking at an aftermarket belly pan to sort this 😎
