Girl, don't worry! I havent been able to not mess up my words since pre-lockdown, your content (and this video!!), as always, is amazing! Been waiting for this, thank you!!
Jesse Morgan colleges don’t actually want that because so many people have used it write about something random and make a plot out of it it’ll show colleges intelligence
1) chloe should've been a lesbian 2) lee is a terrible boyfriend 3) elle is a terrible girlfriend 4) marco deserved better 5) the gay subplot felt so forced uugh
I kinda did think Chloe was a lesbian, but I’m glad she wasn’t because I’m sick of the trope/idea that boyfriends can’t be friends with straight girls, like it just teaches impressionable girls to be jealous which is so stupid.
The funniest thing is that Elle was so jealous of Chloe because she was the “girl best friend” but she didn’t ever realize that she was the exact same thing to Rachel for Lee??? Like babe how is that connection lost on you?
especially when chloe was friends with the group of guys not just noah, while elle and lee spend every waking moment together. i can maybe understand her becoming upset/suspicious when noah starts lying + the earring thing but the fact that she was so jealous and insecure from the start is so stupid
And Rachel had legitimate concerns. It wasn't trust issues; she didn't think Lee was cheating, she just wanted some alone time with her boyfriend. Elle was just being insecure and untrusting
Yes but no. The difference is that Lee and Elle have literally been friends for their entire lives. They're basically twins. Its not the same. There is no chance of them becoming romantic. All Rachel really had to do was confront Elle and I'm sure she would've understood. Like she'd be sad about it but she'd respect it. She even said so in the last movie.
@@yukijames1321 yes but Noah was definitely sketchier than Lee. Rachel knew there was nothing romantically between Lee and Elle, she was just upset because she felt like an extra character in Lee's life. Noah, on the other hand, started to lie to Elle and he was definitely WAY too touchy when they met her at the restaurant.
I know like I thought the reason Lee was upset was because he found out she cheated on his brother. But nope! It was about how she was going to a different college, like wow that is sUcH a VaLiD iSsUe LeE!
lmfao they made the whole sexual assault scene into a lighthearted "comedic scene". notice the script, the music, everything during that scene is basically trying to make it funny even though its sexual assault.
I thought the same. It also happened in the book series Night School, it's just the first thing I thought about but I'm sure there's so many other stories when that happens, and it's just so infuriating
My middle school had slap ass friday and the girls had to ignore that it happened every friday and were still friends with does same guys.If you report them nothing is really done so I guess they would decide to pretend it didn't happen
Demigod CapMexica i had slap ass Friday too. I remember I transferred in during the last semester on a Friday and no one told me until after I was hit...
@1 1 I get what your saying and if my boyfriend did that too me I'd be w little mad but he has a bestfriend and u dont get mad. He still finds time for me. I think its Lee's fault overall for just not being s good bf
Elle: “It’s always been you.” Me: *Well obviously not since you kissed Marco two days ago.* I get so annoyed at how tv shows and romantic movies just easily dismiss cheating on someone like it isn’t a big deal or violation of trust.
@@BriTaylor It's interesting and adds intrigue as well as character development. It's just, as you said, not cute! I totally agree on the not cute part of it!
Noah is such a shitty character but I honestly felt bad for him with Elle kissed Marco, and I also felt bad for Marco! I never like saying people are leading others on but it’s pretty obvious Elle gave clear indications that she wanted to have a romantic relationship with him. And I hate Noah but imagine watching your girlfriend kiss someone behind your back (Elle obviously thought she could get away with kissing Marco because she thought Noah wasn’t there)
I watch shows where one person has cheated more that 3 times and just says "It always was you, my only love" Sure, Billy I guess those 4 other people you made out with were just there for special effect
the fact that the whole story is built on elle's heterosexual jealousy over chloe hanging out with noah and the boys even though i have yet to see elle have one female friend is just funny to me. like does she not realize chloe and her just both happen to get along with boys more??? obviously the way noah greeted chloe was way to comfortable, but i'm talking about the fact that elle acting way to extreme about this the SECOND she saw chloe, with no reason for suspicion at all.
Ironically I feel like it's the girls that make a big deal out of being friends with a guy like elle who are the most jealous and weird about guys and girls being friends - not that the movie was going for that lol
I totally agree with you but I can see why Elle would be jealous about Chloe because Noah does have a history of hitting on many girls, so that may be why Elle sees suspicion in the whole friendship
I agree with you but did see that 9:34 and the way they act around each other I would be jealous too no way they are « just friend » . There’s something under the rock girl
Nah cuz I woulda raised an eyebrow at the earrings and texts and most definitely wouldn’t have been happy with his greeting and hand placement or him bringing her to thanksgiving. Other than that there’s nothing wrong with girls having guy friends, she was too friendly for me tho
juliaosorio26 yeah I can agree. I don’t go crazy when I see guys take off their shirts. I’m like okay cool you work out good for you. Except if I ever see my crush ever do that I would look at him only 😂
I hate that Chloe was the ONE woman of color in this movie and she was just the "hot and experienced woman ", the gay characters had no reason to be apart of this movie,Marco was just a ✨💃SPiCy✨💃Noah ,and they treated going to Harvard like signing up for a Poptropica membership
I find it hilarious and a tad bit annoying how in teen movies and tv shows getting into an Ivy League is so easy even though the characters barely even go to class
@@busiea.7060 literally! I watch Riverdale (sorry) and Veronica got into Harvard so easy it was mostly because her dad is rich but is that what it takes to get into a good college now bribing???
omg all of this is so TRUEEE and i always felt like the gay character “sub plot” (i guess we’ll call it that?) just felt like the movie was trying to score woke points yk??
Not only is Lee’s confession over the intercom embarrassing, but the whole overly public confession/proposal is just kind of bleh to me? Because all the attention and smiling faces is a lot of pressure and slightly anxiety inducing, so it just pushes the person to react how all those people expect them to react (saying yes to marriage, accepting the love confession, etc.).
I’m against all forms of public displays that require a response from a participant. “Gender” reveals, prom/engagement proposals, all of them. The recipient either has to accept, or feel guilty and embarrassed. They’re horrible!!!
Those type of displays are ways for the person that is putting themselves out there to feel more secure cause no one is gonna be like "im not gonna marry you" in front of everyone you've ever met. If someone is actually comfortable in their relationship enough to want to take that next step they have to let themself open up to being hurt and ask one on one in a more personal setting.
I think this is just a matter of really knowing the person or at least having an idea of what’s going on with their feelings. Like, if someone did this to me and I liked/loved them already I wouldn’t really care about the embarrassment. I’d just be giggling non-stop but that’s just me.
there are people (unintelligent, naive and easily influenced teen girls mostly) that like the characters in this movie, and 'ship' Noah and elle. 🤢🤢 being taught the important thing in the world is dating the popular stereotypical dude and getting into Harvard.
polesmoker it’s not just about Noah, it’s also Elle as well. It takes two to be in a relationship and Elle like Noah she didn’t want to faze it because of her best friend. Last time I remembered they knew each other since they were kids.
Rachel just deserves better in this film, lee and elle were horrible friends. And Elle is 100% the bad guy like she cheated..... Rachel and Chloe should just get together
When Rachel dumped Lee, I muttered to myself "Why does she look 30? Isn't she meant to be in high school?" I looked it up to discover that the actress is actually 30, LOOOOOOL
She was not upset that she cheated, she was just upset that she got caught. If Noah wasn't there she probably would've just ignored it and/or do it again. Just sayin'
Also it’s the way that the prize money was $50,000 like Harvard is $74,000 per YEAR. I was like so she’s only going to college for a year??? What happens to the next 3?? Like did she just not think to plan that far ahead financially......
I'm honestly really confused about the whole "being poor" plot when Lee and Noah's parents seem to be millionaires, and act like they wouldn't be willing to help Elle seeing as she's so close to their family.
And I get the whole her mom died and having to pay those costs but her family is still upper class so I'm sure she wouldn't need a lot of money just maybe some at the most half. And she is smart so I'm sure she could have applied for scholarships especially bc she's on the soccer team. That's how Noah got in, with a sports scholarship bc he plays on the football team...which is kinda weird that they didn't show any thing of him playing on Harvards team bc I'm sure he has to keep doing sports if he's on a sports scholarship
I’m sorry but Lee was THE MOST ANNOYINGGGG character for me. How’s he going to get mad at Elle for not telling him something when he ignored her for A MONTH ?!
@@a.b.5473 true, and that’s on being a bad friend. But also Rachel shouldn’t have said for him not to go out with her anymore. She was forcing and telling him to do stuff just for her, this whole thing was a horrible movie and just like others. Chile- the clownery. 🤡
The scene where they are freaking out about 2 gays kissing makes me so angry. Like why are they doing that. Like it’s cute but it’s 2020 people are gay it’s not that insane.
Bryan Gonzalez yeah I get that. it just is so over exaggerated and cliche. Like they are normal people at the end of the day the facial expressions and clapping as so obnoxious. But that just could be the actors and directors faults
@@disneydreaming0210 YEAH LITERALLY I- like we love representation but in real life NOBODY CHEERS AND SCREAMS WHEN TWO PEOPLE KISS n a gay couple is not an acception
Fortnite Item Shop Predictions yes absolutely and that is incredible but the over acting and cheering makes it seem like they were shocked that gay people existed. And thought it’s kind of cringe I feel like it’s the actors and directors faults
I love the “colleges want to hear about your struggles” followed by “me and my long distance boyfriend are having issues”. Got me over here thinking about college essays about being homeless and losing family members and surviving war torn countries and she’s like “two rich hot boys like me whatever shall i dooo”
Both Lee and Elle made the same exact mistakes as in the first movie (lying and hiding stuff) there's literally no character development. They never fix their problems and everything is just resolved by the really big public display of affection at the end of the movie. They keep getting rewarded for bad behavior and it's annoying. Chloe and Rachel deserved so much better smh.
Her dad says that they won’t have enough money to afford private college and yet she goes to private high school AND lives in a multi-million dollar home???
She also has a younger brother that I’m sure goes to a private school that’ll feed into her private high school, her dad mentions that. California is one of the most expensive places to live in the US, sky high property tax, income tax, higher cost of living. And colleges anywhere are insanely expensive. Factor in she suddenly wants to go to Harvard, that’s cross country plan tickets whenever she comes home, room and board, cost of classes is a couple grand, and since it’s a private school there’s no state scholarship they’ll except to cover the cost, plus out of state tuition, etc. etc. even if her dad was a doctor and her mom had some sort of life insurance policy her dad got after her mom died it wouldn’t be enough to pay for everything.
@@katt8923 on paper it sounds a lots a lot easier, but the public school system in CA, especially given it’d be the LA public school system isn’t good. Most families, even those who can barely afford to send their kids to private school for better teachers and a better overall atmosphere. Schools in NYC and most other inner cities are the same.
I hate how movies try to normalize abusive, toxic, and possessive relationships. In real life if we had to choose between and abusive and toxic man or a man who is kind, respectful, and nice we would all pick the second one (Marco)
I get what you’re saying but tbh it’s more realistic for a lot of people who are in toxic relationships to stay in them rather than move on to someone who treats them better because of how much the relationship has messed with their head, that’s part of what makes them so toxic
Sanjana Vinjamuri yeah the reality is definitely not as cute as these movies make them out, I just wanted to point out that because of how toxic relationships mess with people’s minds, they are more likely to stick to what they know than go for what is better for them which is really sad
I agree with you. Being protective to an extent is okay, but there's a point where it just gets possessive and creepy and that's when it becomes a toxic relationship.
It’s kinda funny how Lee and Noah don’t care about each other at all. Like Lee watched Elle kids Marco knowing she was dating his brother and he was just mad about Harvard and did not care that she cheated on his brother
EXACTLY! It would have made so much more sense for the 'friendship rules' to be dispelled in this movie as they caused too much conflict in the last one and for the conflict between Elle and Lee to be about her cheating on his brother
what the hell happened to Noah’s character? Like he randomly became the most toxic/abusive one in the first movie and now in the 2nd movie he’s suddenly a changed guy? I don’t buy that. Also lee and elle are so trash , they deserve each other.
Maybe i'm just really naieve but i actually believe he changed. Like he's in college now, living in a different way and he has Chloe, for me he really grown and become someone decent.
@@zukogf2337 I feel like his development occurred behind-the-scenes, partially bc Elle's POV is so limited due to her self-centered character. It isn't until the last 10 minutes that we find out about Noah's struggles in college while there had been at least three phone calls where he had to comfort her. Elle's so in her head about her own problems that she didn't even notice. So it's possible that Noah's development was happening behind the scenes; I know that personally, my first year at college changed me profoundly. The same could've happened to him.
The thing that annoys me the most about this is the way they treated college. Like it was very easy to get into HARVARD and that Elle didn’t have the funds. She went to a private school the same school as Noah and Lee, she’d have money from her mom, and the “your brother needs to go to school excuse too” when he was like 12!? If they could afford an expensive school in California the problem should’ve been getting in not the I can’t afford it story line.
I totally agree about the misrepresentation of the college admissions process but we can't act like her family's concern about paying for college isn't valid. UC Berkley is $15k in-state/year, Harvard is $75k/year. And that's not including the price of travel and storage she would have to pay for at Harvard but not Berkley. I go to a private college that costs the same as Harvard and even with financial aid, there are so many hidden costs. I feel like that was literally the most realistic part of the movie.
and the fact that her and her boyfriend both go to Harvard?? Like literally why... if you’re schools lucky theyll maybe send one student to Harvard every other year... this makes no sense
have you seen the price difference between berkley and harvard? the whole “your brother needs to go to school” excuse was definitely a reasonable and believable once. especially since you can’t easily come up with tens of thousands of dollars for collage within 8-9 years.
What bothers me about the kissing booth is, both “euphoria” and “the act” have proved Jacob elordi and joey king are fantastic actors, yet that doesn’t show here, which sure it’s shitty writing and there’s only so much you can do with it, but clearly they don’t want to be there. And if your lead actors don’t even want your movie to be made, clearly it’s a soulless production.
Marco deserved so much better???? He actually treated her like a human being. Whereas Noah is possessive and underdeveloped. This second movie was so unnecessary.. they just made it so they could show they’re “inclusive”.
Chloe B yep ): it was basically a repeat of the first one but they wanted to be quirky and add characters to be more “inclusive” that were too forced. cant wait for the third one where the same thing happens AGAIN and Marco doesn’t get the justice he deserves (:
Marco basically portrays the 'perfect guy' that basically everybody wished for but he is also a symbol that no one exists like that in real life :(( he's the second guy, have u noticed that the second guys are always the perfect? Opposite of the OG leading man? and still the protagonist choose the 'underdeveloped' one? The movie is teaching us to not just give up on our relationship despite how flawed it is because that is basically reality although this is just entertainment purposes only it's really amazing if you will put a little bit of reality into it or else you can actually manipulate others into thinking that there's perfect out there :(( no hate ladies and gents. BUT MARCO IS FREAKING HOTTTTT😭💖
Madeee Huit I think they portray them as perfect but I like to dig deeper. because, no one IS perfect. I want to learn more about Marco. Noah is considerably a perfect main love interest as well. Aside from his past. But that’s just the typical Wattpad bad boy. Kissing Booth didn’t do this to teach, because if they were trying to teach they wouldn’t throw random gays )):
@@trin1476 wait? what's with random gays just being thrown away? I don't know that. Well a lot of people said this that Noah and Elle would actually end up together at the end because that is what's written in the books, some also said that Marco might not be featured as much in the Kissing Booth 3 because he doesn't have much of a attention in the books and probably Elle would go for Harvard, so. I'm not so sure tho because the author said that Marco's still gonna be in TKB3.
Oh god the Finchel kiss at Nationals in New York season 2. Jessie was right, and they lost, they could've waited but nahh like what was the purpose? I'm so happy Santana went ALL Lima Heights on them once they got back to the Hotel, what would have happened if Quinn, Sam, and Puck let go on accident? I would have loved to see that.
Ok but her thinking she’s the “poor girl” (even with going to a private school, living in that house etc) is so accurate to how many private school kids who aren’t exorbantly and evidently wealthy (think designer on the regular, multiple homes etc.) - but still well off - act and think about themselves. Because in “their world” there at the lower end of the socioeconomic spectrum but like... obviously not in the larger context... which just comes down to unawareness of the real world LOL. Source: I spent basically my whole life in various private schools.
Sooo true. I did not go to any private schools, but I saw this a TON when I was in medical school. All these people who came from rich backgrounds and had their school paid for by their parents who didn't consider themselves rich. I knew 1 guy who insisted his family was middle-class, because their house was much smaller than the neighbor's house... The neighbor's house was literally owned by Mitt Romney. 🙄
True. I remember a coworker was complaining about another coworker because he was privileged. I pointed out that she was privileged too, she went to college and her parents paid for it. Her response was “My parents had to take out a mortgage to send me to school!!” Uh, hun, your parents HAD a mortgage to take out. Literally so many people’s parents don’t own their homes.
Literally the ENTIRE movie I was wondering what happened to Noah? Where did his possessive behaviour go? Where did his violent tendencies go? Everything just magically disappeared cause he went to Harvard or something, like? This is one of the rare times I have second lead syndrome with the second lead genuinely being 100% better, but then again I'm glad Elle didn't end up with Marco cause he sure as hell doesn't deserve a girl who kisses another guy infront of her boyfriend on a huge tournament stage because she THINKS he cheated lmao. Also the entire Lee x Rachel relationship just ended up making me really dislike Lee. His personality was just quirky in movie #1 but in this one he's just portrayed as a guy who's 10 years old and treats everyone like shit. He ignores Rachel, barely takes care of her, kinda lies to her about confronting Elle, then lets Rachel scream at Elle infront of everyone at the school party and then proceed to just ghost Elle his so called best friend for 1 whole MONTH?! and then he gets pissed about her applying to a different College, which his brother is also at so he could easily visit to see his friend and brother cause their family 100% has that rich money to do that. Kinda shocked I ended up liking Noah, Marco, Chloe and even Rachel more then Elle and Lee even though I don't like Rachel and Noah that much either, but they were not even close to the hot garbage Elle and Lee are. If you're gonna act like Elle and Lee towards your significant other, why even date? Lee and Rachel getting back together was a HELL. NO.
@@aysiaaa3122 Right! the only time they ever brought up Noah's anger issues was to make Elle sad bcs 'OH NO! another girl just made him calm down? Only I can do that!' like bruh..
@@aysiaaa3122 omg I didn't even think about that. That's even worse then I thought, that can't even count as character development it's just throwing his entire personality away and magically replacing it lmao. They really went from Lee immediately assuming Noah had hurt Elle when she had a cut on her face in movie 1, to Noah being very calm and nobody being worried about his issues cause ''I'm in Harvard now and have 1 girl to fix me haha!"
ikr it was way too centred on the reactions / approval of the cishet characters so it felt. gay best friend-y and Straight Gaze-y you know. gay content sanitised for straight and cis audiences
So what did you want them to do?? Make the crowd boo them cause if they did, then you’d be salty about that...like...idk what you expect them to do lol. Just chill and get over it, it’s not a big deal
@@flowers7969 we expect them to make gay characters that are, you know, actual characters and not just accessories to the all-straight story. Don’t just have two random boys that have nothing to do with anything get together so your movie can be heralded for doing the bare minimum to have LGBT representation. It’s so shallow and the movie’s celebration of itself in that moment is almost insulting.
I hATE how easily these characters get into these schools, like we all have to give up our social lives, sleep, money, write a proper college essay and maybe, MAYBE, get a chance to get in, and these guys dont seem to be doing anything and just talk about getting into Harvard... these movies make success look so unrealistically easy
IKRRR There's so many movies out there where the people don't even try and they just get into these amazing schools. Like for example, even though Mean Girls is good, Aaron Samuels said "a negative times a negative is sometimes a positive" and he gets into NORTHWESTERN like YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW BASIC MATH AHHHHHH (also if he got in bc of sports, he has to be EXTREMELY good, which it didn't really seem like it...)
Some person, the amount of work it takes is insane, and these characters get to sulk and only think about dating and then get into a good school like AHAHA what is this! Same with money, she said she needs money and 50 thousand was supposed to be enough for a degree? That’s like a semester or two at best
I feel you but at the same time it’s a movie it’s not meant to be realistic that’s why I never took them seriously cuz ik how hard it is to get into those colleges. Hopefully one day a movie that shows that will be made but these writers have a weird take on reality.
LeeAnn Welch yeah, I just want movies to show the reality of these decisions, people who decide not to go to college for example still think about what they’re gonna do a lot, so academic part of high school is a lot more prominent in our lives I think
What annoyed me was that there was really a scene where Elle, a straight girl, said to a gay guy that she “knew all about letting people get in the way of a relationship” like the issue is that gay people think too much about what people think of them rather than actual deep rooted homophobia that scares and prevents people from being themselves
Katie S exactly!! It’s like anyone can give anyone advice but the moment you start to relate your own situation as a straight person to a member of the LGBT that’s where it doesn’t sit right. On another channel comment thread I got a bunch of people twisting my words insinuating that I’d said they couldn’t give advice but like you can, just don’t try relating your own situation y’know
shonaalannah no I completely get what you mean! I’m straight and I would never say what she said to any of my LGBTQ+ friends. It’s really not the same thing
I mean maybe in country that isn't America lol. Like I'm pretty sure school tuition gets like 2x more expensive when you're from out of state it's so weird like at her age she genuinely thinks 50k is going to majorly help her? But she lives in a super expensive house so how do they not have money for college? Like sell one of your expensive couches or something thousands upon thousands of dollars. Like she doesn't have the mindset of someone that's actively trying to get more money for college
You’re telling me Paris Geller did not get into Harvard and 90% of her personality was being an overachiever and this girl who we never once saw open her books got in????? Make it make sense
@@aysiaaa3122 in the first movie they said he had the top GPA or something so it kinda makes sense even though he acted like a douche. This girl though?....She literally does nothing all day and clearly does not give a fuck about school
The moment I saw Chloe, I was like "oh I want her to be gay" and I was so disappointed when they didn't have her say "oh Noah isn't my type" and when whomever like "uh Noah is everyone's type", she says she likes girls and everyone recognizes that Elle is a horrible person for using her as a excuse to cheat on her boyfriend.
illumination 22 but don’t you think that’s too obsessive? Asking her why she didn’t pick up in school? And she hardly ghosted him she just put some space between them, he was too clingy wanting to talk to her every second
"there's no way she'd get into harvard" you're right, the third movie plot is gonna be about how elle's parents got caught up in the admissions scandal
This movie was *garbageee*even for my already dirt expectations. 1. Elle is a problematic rich girl who ruins literally everyone's relationship. 2. Lee was horrible to Rachel. She should've dumped him a long time ago, no discussion. 3. Noah definitely crossed some lines even though he didn't technically cheat. 4. Lee and Elle's friendship is toxic and creepy. 5. Marco was used and played by Elle and he said thanks 😊 plus they couldn't have casted someone who didn't look exactly like Noah? 6. She didn't even apologize to Noah for CHEATING, instead HE apologized to HER and said I love you like what? 7. She's literally the worst character ever yet she wins the $50,000, gets both guys, and gets into UC Berkeley AND FUCKING HARVARD?! 8. All of the "romance" in the movie was soooo cringy and forced. 9. The message this movie sends to the audience is horrible. Dont communicate, lie, cheat, cock block, and lead guys on and all your dreams will come true 😌 10. And beyond all that the acting and script were just awful. Its too bad cuz Joey was great in The Act and Jacob is great in Euphoria. I can literally keep going but i think 10 is a good number. This is a movie for adults written by an 8 year old. I dont understand how *grown* people actually like this movie..
Let’s also talk about how they forced their “oh we’re all inclusive” message in our faces. Like the kiss at the end was way too obnoxious with everyone clapping lmao. I hope the gay couple get more fleshed out in the third film at least.
i kind of agree with their decision to do that. many teens still struggle with their sexuality so it's pretty logical of them to include it in that way. and it was celebrated like the ppl there cheered them on so yeah
Lana Levitt see i agree with that cause it’s true. However those two characters literally added nothing to the story, they felt as if the writer was like “oops I gotta add the gays”. Like don’t make it seem like they were just an accomplishment or a check mark that you had gay characters, that’s why I have an issue with the whole scene because it didn’t feel authentic
ChildOfDestiny that’s what i was thinking when they added the gay couple, i was like this cute cuz of how sweet the couple was but never really understood their role even though i tried to see why they added to the story. it just ties in when they had that small scene where the buff guy winks at the guy who was on the line to kiss the guy, makes no sense to the actual movie at all
@@rondorondo557 imagine saying one thing over and over again. and not even making much sense or being funny or whatever. it's called acting like a 8 yo who learns a new word and repeats it for months over and over again
“Why is she being so mean to him?” Because characters hating each other and nagging each other and that leading to romance is the newest trend in movies without any actual character development happening.
I hate the fact that “wattpad book” has a negative meaning attached to it now, because there are so many incredible books on wattpad that keep getting dismissed because they’re “wattpad books”
M. Josena nicole probably does too but i personally love, *“moonchild”* (first book) then “sunchild” they’re werewolf books though but not like cringe. I don’t even really like werewolf books much but those were good. Some do prefer *sunchild* but *moonchild* is first and Moonchild is about Jay and Daisy. Daisy is a moonchild and goes from pack to pack to help heal werewolves and she meets jay and they find out they’re soulmates but daisy is kinda used to leaving so jay tries to get her to stay and sunchild is a spin off/sequel. Also, *”hey, noah”* that one is about college girl who gives her condolences to the very popular guy on campus, noah obviously after he loses his parents in an accident and it was kinda a slow one but it was very nice 🥺💜It is a paid book now though but if you wanna ready it you can log into my account, just let me know. Also, *”In 27 Days”* that is apparently getting a movie. Not sure when though. It made me cry 😣 it’s about Archer, he kills himself and Hadley, a classmate who’s never talked to him is offered a chance by death aka the grim reaper to go back 27 days and try to save his life cos it took him 27 days to decide to kill himself. Archer is kinda an asshole though but theres also a second book and its really the journey that i like cos i assumed it would get a second one but they both made me cry lol then again im kinda sensitive. *”BLAZE”* is a book about a firefighter and a woman who hookup one night and then don’t see eachother until like days or weeks later i forgot but her little brother is trying to become a firefighter and she meets the one night stand guy again and he thinks she cheated on her “boyfriend” aka her brother at first so he’s rude to her but yeah that one was cool. *”Her Art and his paper heart”* omg this one was...good. The character development of the main character, Reece was great. It’s about Reece who is a big popstar and his manager and another manager of a girl, Mckenna get them to pretend to date to help Reece with his reputation that isn’t good and Mckenna with her rising career but Mckenna has a bf no one else knows about. Reece lost his mom and brother years ago so he has a lot of guilt and sfuff about that. I started that book for the, “romance” but it really was mainly about Reece and his progress and it made me really proud and honestly i didn’t care much about him and Mckenna lol just him but its a good one! The last one i’s recommend is, *”i sold myself to the devil for vinyls, pitiful, i know”* that one is definitely a clichè a little but its a well done clichè in my opinion. It’s about Lexi Grayson, she and Blake made a deal that she will tutor him and he will give her vinyls hence the tittle. Blake isn’t an asshole in my opinion, he’s more of a sexual innuendos guy but he’s sweet and lexi is kinda a bitch to him but she’s really funny and they get better as the story progresses. Also a slowish one but it’s good. That one is actually quite a classic on wattpad.
it’s because dumbass stuff like this is what gets more attention and made into movies since they’ve been around longer. it’s very annoying bc i’ve read good fanfics on wattpad that has good plots, not every story is this shitty. bc not every author on there is 13-15.
I knoww. A lot of young girls watch this and she’s basing her entire future based on where the rules say she should go or where nOaH is. The message is just not it at all. Especially nowadays with women empowerment, this movie really doesn’t display that
@@mahnoushhosein Frankly it's wild they set up the "who do you want to be in 5 years" admission essay thread and they still didn't manage to find their way to the resolution that Elle should go to school somewhere she actually wants to go. Like they had the opportunity to let her make her own choices right there and they still chose to drop the ball that hard. I don't think they so much as MENTIONED what she wants to study/major in at all either? Like going to college undecided is fine but at least THINK about what you want to do when you get there before committing to going!
@Laura Martin-Falla To be honest, basically everyone in this movie that isn't white and heterosexual felt like it was forced in given how straight and white everyone was in the first movie was. The attempt of diversity is extremely shallow in this movie.
i feel like if they wouldntve made it like 𝘰𝘮𝘨 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘨𝘢𝘺 and more like omg are they dating it wouldve felt less forced. i just hate how it was an unnecessary side plot that wasnt even actually explored and was put there more for pandering to the lgbtq+ community more than for actual plot reasons or even to be actually inclusive.
I’m still so angry she took the entire huge poster for the dance competition INSTEAD of the smaller flyers that people are ACTUALLY SUPPOSED to take so others can still see the big poster. like girl
The thing is yeah they introduced two people who weren’t just white but then they just used them as pawns for the main characters relationship problems and shit not really developing their stories as much (I’m not fully finish3d with the video but I can’t remember from when I watched it whether they actually showed that chloe was gay but I got those vibes straight away and I will fully believe that Idc)
Omg that is a good point. Even with the gay sub plot. All 3 don't really get fleshed out and seen as they are doing bad or just there to make conflict and don't really get any real conclusions. Bc Marco didn't really do anything wrong sure he shouldn't have kissed her and all but he hung out with her bc she asked for his help and he didn't make any moves on her until she kissed him. And with Chloe her only scenes were her being there an elle being all jealous and moody and shes just there. And God the gay sub plot is just so wrong. To where it's not fleshed out, or anything to add to why they were afraid and then the whole kiss part and the crowd reaction, it feels like they were trying to do love, Simon's ferris wheel scene but with none of the raising action like they had in love Simon.
Yes thank you !!! Noah I get it. He used to see her all the time but a guy like Marco..? Why ? She isn’t the prettiest in her school , or the most intelligent or interesting ? I feel like they want to give the average white girl some confidence
You guys realize that that's the point right? Like I'm not defending the movie its shit but that's literally the point she's just a normal girl she's not the prettiest she's not the most popular she's not really special but they see sth 'different' about her
Keira Bond yeah it’s kinda interesting how lee never has issues with the rules and just uses them to bully Elle out of doing what she really wants to do
Yesss characters always say that someone is “the one” after being so toxic. There’s a lot more to being someone’s soulmate than just being attracted to them.
Kissing Booth 3 should just be Elle and Noah failing their classes and subsequently getting kicked out of Harvard to build up their Kissing Booth at the local McDonalds. Oh and Chloe gets elected to be the first female lesbian/wlw President of the US
Netflix reallyyyyy needs to stop making all its POC character plot devices who only serve the main character than are thrown in the trash at the end of the movie. GIVE US DEPTH PLZ 🤧😤
They live in hollywood/Santa Monica California area where the cost of living is sky high, they live in mansions, and go to a private school. Theyre all fucking rich. That fact that they tried to play finances as an issue in this movie was comical. I have friends that went to UC Berkeley and even with scholarships and financial aid they are heavily in debt. This movie was a JOKE 🙄
Kaela Buenaventura But she’s not the only lesbian in the world? So I took it more as she’s the only straight girl immune to his charms, because every lesbian would be ‘immune’ to him, you know?
really clowned myself into thinking elle and noah would split after realising they have NOTHING in common, and that elle would get with marco because he makes her feel all sorts of warm and fuzzy and serenades her at the beach. but what did she do? SHE JUST LIED MORE BECAUSE THAT SEEMS TO WORK FOR HER. the most unrealistic thing about this film is that elle gets into harvard.
I’m so confused as to why she didn’t just apply for financial aid if she’s doesn’t have the money for Harvard? Because without financial aid 50k isn’t even the cost of one year?
Are you telling me that Lee did an entire grand gesture...and not learn his lesson about giving his girlfriend the attention she deserves? Also why do these movies never discuss financial aid, merit based scholarships and external scholarships and grants for their schools??? Sis if you ain't getting a scholarship, on to the next one.
Journée it’s just the way they treated him even though he was being blackmailed because of his sexuality. They weren’t there for him and ignored when he was bullied after he was outed
Bruhhh I absolutely hated Simons friends in the movie. The book they were way better by taking him to the gay bar and stuff but they had the audacity in the movie to not even APOLOGIZE when they left him with no friends after being blackmailed
Unpopular opinion: Her wig looks good and the last movie had HORRIBLE hair and makeup for Joey King. Her hair was *awful* in the first film. *AWFUL* Edit: Thanks for the likes and replies guys :)
imagine her not getting into both colleges, going to a different one in another state, losing connection with both Noah AND his brother and literally finding herself...like a whole movie about her maturing or something. honestly I'd watch that. ("kissing booth" 3)
Elle: hmm should I go to this expensive college for a man, or a different expensive college for a different man?? Also I'm tried of these high schoolers in movies applying to schools at the end of the year. Ma'am your application is eons too late.
I also find it pretty unbelievable in these films that Elle is basically like a daughter to Molly Ringwald's character, who supposedly lives in an oceanside MANSION in Malibu (easily at least $35-50M minimum), but somehow hasn't even offered to pay for at least some of Elle's college??? Like, that money would be pocket change to her (it looks like she has art in her home that's more expensive than a 4 year private college tuition price tag), but she's willing to let Elle & her father worry over how to pay & potentially put her in crippling debt for most of her adult life? WTF??

The way Elle wrote her college essay on her “best friend” when her mom died like a few years ago
Yess like that's the actual traumatic experience. Everyone loses friends so that's not a big deal.
Right I’m not tryna be mean but she could’ve used it to her advantage
Right like if u want to get in use that trauma not my best friend
Trauma stories are over used in college essays and she did mention her mom
Jesse Morgan colleges don’t actually want that because so many people have used it write about something random and make a plot out of it it’ll show colleges intelligence
The way the second movie just tried to make people forgot about Noah’s possessive/abusive behavior............ weird
As well as his anger issues and violence.
IKR LIKE IN THE FIRST MOVIE he was so controlling and aggressive with Elle telling all the boys to stay away from elle and other stuff
Maybe he changed. People, especially teens change a lot you know.
EP they didn’t show him in overcoming his past issues though, they just presented him as a changed person and didn’t explain it
for a second there I forgot Nate Jacob's name was Nate and not Noah and I was like... yes he is quite abusive
1) chloe should've been a lesbian
2) lee is a terrible boyfriend
3) elle is a terrible girlfriend
4) marco deserved better
5) the gay subplot felt so forced uugh
Literally thought Chloe was a lesbian for like half of the movie😅
I kinda did think Chloe was a lesbian, but I’m glad she wasn’t because I’m sick of the trope/idea that boyfriends can’t be friends with straight girls, like it just teaches impressionable girls to be jealous which is so stupid.
100% agree
6) Lee is also a terrible friend
7) I don’t believe that any of them could get into top unis (other than being rich)
8) this movie is too predictable, I'm dying

Oh you know Harvard, just always handing out them acceptance letters like birthday invitations.
Especially when Rachel was kind of a bitch and Noah was scared to tell Elle what was going on the whole movie
The funniest thing is that Elle was so jealous of Chloe because she was the “girl best friend” but she didn’t ever realize that she was the exact same thing to Rachel for Lee??? Like babe how is that connection lost on you?
And with Marco
especially when chloe was friends with the group of guys not just noah, while elle and lee spend every waking moment together. i can maybe understand her becoming upset/suspicious when noah starts lying + the earring thing but the fact that she was so jealous and insecure from the start is so stupid
Noah, on the other hand, started to lie to Elle and he was definitely WAY too touchy when they met her at the restaurant.
lol imagine me getting into Harvard

Wait, are you doing Kissing Booth 2 next???

I don’t understand how lee didn’t confront the fact that she cheated on his brother

navidad because lee and Noah aren’t close. Seriously, you wouldn’t even know these two were brothers

I would too, tbh
yeah like why did elle forgive the rapist? he fr did sexually assault her, you have a great point
lmfao they made the whole sexual assault scene into a lighthearted "comedic scene". notice the script, the music, everything during that scene is basically trying to make it funny even though its sexual assault.
Demigod CapMexica that’s horrible
Demigod CapMexica i had slap ass Friday too. I remember I transferred in during the last semester on a Friday and no one told me until after I was hit...

@1 1 Exactly. If you take on the responsibility of a girl friend then you need to learn to manage your time.
The real villain of the kissing booth are those annoying rules...and lee
Elle’s essay is also the villain.
the rules are so stupid like it just pissed me off throughout the movie
wts is "if your friend buys you ice cream, you have to forgive them" or wtv rule 😭😭😭 wat kinda rule is that
Fr like they made those rules as kids so why tf are they still gonna use them for the rest of their lives ???
the villan is Elle.

I literally cannot stand when movies and tv normalize cheating like dude..... that’s not a cute or interesting plot line nor situation ??
@@BriTaylor It's interesting and adds intrigue as well as character development. It's just, as you said, not cute! I totally agree on the not cute part of it!
Exactly like how the sequel of To all the boys I’ve loved before was done! Totally not justifiable!
Right like now thinking back, Elle lacks female friends no shame in that but I mean
Other than that there’s nothing wrong with girls having guy friends, she was too friendly for me tho

omg all of this is so TRUEEE and i always felt like the gay character “sub plot” (i guess we’ll call it that?) just felt like the movie was trying to score woke points yk??
Not only is Lee’s confession over the intercom embarrassing, but the whole overly public confession/proposal is just kind of bleh to me? Because all the attention and smiling faces is a lot of pressure and slightly anxiety inducing, so it just pushes the person to react how all those people expect them to react (saying yes to marriage, accepting the love confession, etc.).
Exactly!! Watching those proposals make me so uncomfortable. If I were in that situation, I would be horribly stressed out.

Alex but also her mom died a few years before and maybe she was the main breadwinner and they had to pay for health insurance for her aswell?? Idk

I get what you’re saying but tbh it’s more realistic for a lot of people who are in toxic relationships to stay in them rather than move on to someone who treats them better because of how much the relationship has messed with their head, that’s part of what makes them so toxic
I hate the bad boy thing. It's part of the reason I hated fruits basket.
I wish Elle would’ve ended up single. She realizes she doesn’t need a boyfriend right now and focuses on herself.
Yeah i prefer that
She should focus on becoming a better person and having more self steem to stop being jealous and toxic.
Yeah and then gets a boyfriend other than Noah in the third movie since he is such a bad character.
true.
It doesn’t work like that, if she’s in love with someone she can’t just drop them cause she feels like it ,it’s hard .
Elle: *needs money for college*
Arcade bathroom poster: Win $50,000 doing the one thing you're good at
As if that would cover college...lol
Tiffany Lastinger she said it would help
yeah like they would actually award you 50k they’d probably give you fifty dollars instead
I think it was hinted in the first movie that Lee doesn't really like his brother because he always gets what he wants, but it's still stupid.
what the hell happened to Noah’s character? Like he randomly became the most toxic/abusive one in the first movie and now in the 2nd movie he’s suddenly a changed guy? I don’t buy that. Also lee and elle are so trash , they deserve each other.
YES! i was like im never forgetting that shit he pulled in the first one to ever feel sorry for him in this one smh
It's the hair , u know 😂😂😂 He cut all the toxicness
Maybe i'm just really naieve but i actually believe he changed. Like he's in college now, living in a different way and he has Chloe, for me he really grown and become someone decent.
Raissa I mean Yh he “changed” but where was the development?? it’s literally non existent
Like literally why... if you’re schools lucky theyll maybe send one student to Harvard every other year... this makes no sense
have you seen the price difference between berkley and harvard? the whole “your brother needs to go to school” excuse was definitely a reasonable and believable once. especially since you can’t easily come up with tens of thousands of dollars for collage within 8-9 years.
icon yeah they were both dum dums how’d they even get in?
Families can go thru a rough time financially sometimes u know
1:50 “oh my gosh I totally forgot about the girlfriend”
so did lee during this entire movie
What bothers me about the kissing booth is, both “euphoria” and “the act” have proved Jacob elordi and joey king are fantastic actors, yet that doesn’t show here, which sure it’s shitty writing and there’s only so much you can do with it, but clearly they don’t want to be there. And if your lead actors don’t even want your movie to be made, clearly it’s a soulless production.
Sorry for the rant it just hurts my heart to go from being blown away by Jacob Elordis performance in euphoria.... to this
I agree.. loved euphoria and Jacob here was just a lying lump of muscle
Kate Davis euphoria was the shit
I never expect much from this movie cuz it is a wattpad book
@@elizabethcuevas3728 i didnt know that and honestly im not surprised this movie and the last one was terrible imo
Marco deserved so much better???? He actually treated her like a human being. Whereas Noah is possessive and underdeveloped.
This second movie was so unnecessary.. they just made it so they could show they’re “inclusive”.
it was only for the money, the movie was not well thought out. Characters made problems for themselves for no reason.
Madeee Huit
I think they portray them as perfect but I like to dig deeper. because, no one IS perfect.
“They kiss at the end of their performance and get eliminated because that’s... illegal” trin this isn’t glee😭✨

Source: I spent basically my whole life in various private schools.
worldofbare and she lives in a huge house I'm guessing in a nice neighbourhood IN THE CENTRE OF HOLLYWOOD
Her response was “My parents had to take out a mortgage to send me to school!!”
Uh, hun, your parents HAD a mortgage to take out. Literally so many people’s parents don’t own their homes.
I think that too

everyone in this movie has terrible communication skills and stay lying or omitting info from ppl that’s why i don’t like anyone
You know theres issues when the one guy who you see the least (Noah) is the most communicative person
Except for Marco
Marco was the only normal character yet gets the worst ending and the worst everything in general. Marco deserved better.
NO.
i guess chloe “cured” him of all of his anger issues and possessiveness which was such a cheap way out. terrible character development.
They literally did the tumblr "and everybody clapped" thing with the only two gay characters. I hate str8 producers
this made me literally look up if this movie was a satire, because that's what I thought the whole time....but I was stunned when it wasn't
SECOND 666TH LIKE IN THE SAME VIDEO lmaoooo
ikr it was way too centred on the reactions / approval of the cishet characters so it felt. gay best friend-y and Straight Gaze-y you know. gay content sanitised for straight and cis audiences
Lisa Fevral fr!!
What annoyed me was that there was really a scene where Elle, a straight girl, said to a gay guy that she “knew all about letting people get in the way of a relationship” like the issue is that gay people think too much about what people think of them rather than actual deep rooted homophobia that scares and prevents people from being themselves
i'm convinced that scene was literally only to show that elle is a Well Meaning Straight Ally™️
@@jhsc128 and to act as a push for her to realise her own feelings and relationship situations
Ugh I thought that too! How could you POSSIBLY understand, Elle?!
Im just mad that Elle thinks $50,000 is gonna cover school in Boston
RIGHT
Harvard of all schools at that.
Harvard semester tuition and living expenses is OVER $70,000. $50,000 is pocket money compared to to the expense

Noah called her while she was in school demanding her to talk to him and asking why she didn’t text him like- she has school and SO DO YOU

Because Elle was basically ghosting Noah almost the whole summer, worried she would be a clingy girlfriend that Would push Noah away.

Dont communicate, lie, cheat, cock block, and lead guys on and all your dreams will come true 😌
I hope the gay couple get more fleshed out in the third film at least.
the only thing good about this movie is the cinematography tbh
actually it was written by 15 year old but go off🤣🤣🤣🤣🧚🏾♀️🧚🏾♀️🧚🏾♀️🧚🏾♀️
RIP IT TO SHREDS HUN!
Bruh I could write like 4 essays on why this movie was bad
Why did they make the gay kiss such a “Omg we did that” celebration moment. 🤨 like really
i kind of agree with their decision to do that. many teens still struggle with their sexuality so it's pretty logical of them to include it in that way. and it was celebrated like the ppl there cheered them on so yeah
Lana Levitt see i agree with that cause it’s true. However those two characters literally added nothing to the story, they felt as if the writer was like “oops I gotta add the gays”. Like don’t make it seem like they were just an accomplishment or a check mark that you had gay characters, that’s why I have an issue with the whole scene because it didn’t feel authentic
i cant get behinds the OVER reaction of all the characters, as if the plot was about this two characters and not background ones.
ChildOfDestiny that’s what i was thinking when they added the gay couple, i was like this cute cuz of how sweet the couple was but never really understood their role even though i tried to see why they added to the story. it just ties in when they had that small scene where the buff guy winks at the guy who was on the line to kiss the guy, makes no sense to the actual movie at all
Because he used to bully him in the first movie but it was because he was actually gay and didn’t felt comfortable

Yesss
Do you have any suggestions ¿

@Stephanie Ibrahim why would we be mad about no gay characters in the movie?
Chloe's back must be destroyed from carrying this movie on her own
@1 1 And Rachel and Marco
She didn't even make much drama yk, just existed and helped Noah
Unfortunately doesnt seem like it cause in the end shes like I hid in your room because random dude and I were fighting

Yesss characters always say that someone is “the one” after being so toxic. There’s a lot more to being someone’s soulmate than just being attracted to them.
ma’am you are SO pretty have a wonderful day
Kissing Booth 3 should just be Elle and Noah failing their classes and subsequently getting kicked out of Harvard to build up their Kissing Booth at the local McDonalds. Oh and Chloe gets elected to be the first female lesbian/wlw President of the US
god emma and Rachel can be lesbians with Chloe and be the First Lady ❤️
lmao😂
@@narajayde520 yo thanks for commenting I almost forgot about that comment. Goddammit y'all putting a like on anything now lol?
Emma no problem and haha
Netflix reallyyyyy needs to stop making all its POC character plot devices who only serve the main character than are thrown in the trash at the end of the movie. GIVE US DEPTH PLZ 🤧😤
Seriously, no depth I want more.
Also give us some dark skin main characters. Is that to much to ask ???
bambasalad I’m super sick of Netflix’s tokenism
@@StaceyGeorges15 ugh yes not just mixed chicks
Just remember some if the movies Netflix produces are based on books
@@StaceyGeorges15 blood and water has some good representation
noah getting into harvard makes sense because he's riiiiich and ivy leagues will often accept people based on income. but ELLE???????
And apparently he got in because of sports which is a common thing
They live in hollywood/Santa Monica California area where the cost of living is sky high, they live in mansions, and go to a private school. Theyre all fucking rich. That fact that they tried to play finances as an issue in this movie was comical. I have friends that went to UC Berkeley and even with scholarships and financial aid they are heavily in debt. This movie was a JOKE 🙄
The editors must be tired from carrying this movie om their backs.
Chole is definitely a lesbian no cap
I was so sure she hinted at that when she said "I'm the only woman immune to the charms of Noah Flynn"
Kaela Buenaventura But she’s not the only lesbian in the world? So I took it more as she’s the only straight girl immune to his charms, because every lesbian would be ‘immune’ to him, you know?
yes ma’am 😌✨✌️
Soph xoxo you on to somethin...
really clowned myself into thinking elle and noah would split after realising they have NOTHING in common, and that elle would get with marco because he makes her feel all sorts of warm and fuzzy and serenades her at the beach. but what did she do? SHE JUST LIED MORE BECAUSE THAT SEEMS TO WORK FOR HER. the most unrealistic thing about this film is that elle gets into harvard.
when elle rejects marco it literally reminds me so much of lara jean rejecting john ambrose after leading him on and kissing him...
Yup the exact same thing
Yooooo. I felt the same way. And I was soooo pissed for both scenarios. Netflix is just out here disappointing me
Thandie Hamilton SAMEEE. really rooted for both those boys. they deserved better!
I’m so confused as to why she didn’t just apply for financial aid if she’s doesn’t have the money for Harvard? Because without financial aid 50k isn’t even the cost of one year?
The fact that they'll make kissing both 3 and *Annie with an e got cancelled i-*
like netflix wants more of this imovie cinematography but not the cinematic masterpiece that IS anne with an e?? 😔that just doesn’t sit right w me
I swear, Netflix is getting loopy
Same with chilling adventures of sabrina
So fucking unfair :(
Zai Belli they already shot the third movie they filmed it after the second one
Are you telling me that Lee did an entire grand gesture...and not learn his lesson about giving his girlfriend the attention she deserves? Also why do these movies never discuss financial aid, merit based scholarships and external scholarships and grants for their schools??? Sis if you ain't getting a scholarship, on to the next one.
Ikr
"Hope shes a lesbian" BYE LMAO
why do the straights always kiss at the end of competitions?? have they ever heard of professionalism??
examples?
@@abbyyy_segal Finn and Rachel in Glee did it once
They just want to shove it in our children's faces and push the straight agenda smh 😤
@@jonnybuijze1770 yeaaa i remember that they lost because it was not professional
@1 1 BROOO THIS IS SOO FUNNY😭😭😭
Lee is the worst friend in cinematic history, and I'm including in that Simon's friends in Love Simon and Andy's friends in The Devil Wears Prada.
I mean Simons friends in the movie (I mean they were better in the book) were prettyyyyyyy bad
Skyler Grunder I have watched Live Simon. What did the friends do
Journée it’s just the way they treated him even though he was being blackmailed because of his sexuality.
Not only the worst friend but the worst boyfriend too lol
Unpopular opinion: Her wig looks good and the last movie had HORRIBLE hair and makeup for Joey King. Her hair was *awful* in the first film. *AWFUL*
Edit: Thanks for the likes and replies guys :)
i definitely agree like what was that hairdo in the first movie 😭💀
FACTS! her forehead was bothering me the whole time :(
i felt like they were trying to make her ~relatable~ by having bad hair in the first movie. it was atrocious
@@Qlilow
what do you mean?
IKR I just wanted to brush it the whole time 😭
imagine her not getting into both colleges, going to a different one in another state, losing connection with both Noah AND his brother and literally finding herself...like a whole movie about her maturing or something. honestly I'd watch that. ("kissing booth" 3)
AND she has a lesbian awakening
Elle: hmm should I go to this expensive college for a man, or a different expensive college for a different man??
Also I'm tried of these high schoolers in movies applying to schools at the end of the year. Ma'am your application is eons too late.
Berkeley is a public school, so comparatively, it's not that expensive for Californians.
They started preparing us the middle of junior year and that was the SUBMIT stuff
I kept seeing people hating on Rachel, I thought she had the right to be upset tbh...
She did I think they didn’t like how she talked about that in Public instead of private
Right!!!! Dont understand what rachel did wrong tbh
“They kiss at the end of the performance and get disqualified because that’s illegal” The glee jumped out in me
😂😂
Was this staged ?
why is the dinosaur kissing the jew type beat ✨
I also find it pretty unbelievable in these films that Elle is basically like a daughter to Molly Ringwald's character, who supposedly lives in an oceanside MANSION in Malibu (easily at least $35-50M minimum), but somehow hasn't even offered to pay for at least some of Elle's college??? Like, that money would be pocket change to her (it looks like she has art in her home that's more expensive than a 4 year private college tuition price tag), but she's willing to let Elle & her father worry over how to pay & potentially put her in crippling debt for most of her adult life? WTF??
THAT’S WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING
that‘s what i was thinking like wtf
