  • A good explanation on the differences between the two options. Both solid performers but the electric in cab control takes the cake for us ✌️
    Roughly $2500AUD difference between the 2 options. Electric in cab control is of course quite labour intensive to install.
    Keeping in mind these are not generic off the shelf shocks - JMACX has worked extensively on the development of these Aussie built weapons. Valving, oil capacity, shims etc all have been tested according to what GVM and lift height specification we are given.

    Is there any scope to do F trucks? Ie 250/350?

      For sure mate - we have the electric Alpha's in our demo F250. We are yet to post up the vid for this truck yet BUT we do have them running in the effy and working well.

    Have you fitted to the 300 series yet? As I’m interested in the positioning for the control pad location…

      Thanks mate - yes we sure have. They are fitted to our GR Sport Chop currently. Controller mounts down on the drivers side where the little card holder is.

    Are there different mounting options for the in cab controller, mine is the same as the video on the ashtray - keeps dropping out and I want to replace the fascia panel with a full PVS switch panel, Is there another housing for these at all?

      Have you got a full length floor console mate? You can house then in there

      @@ProTouringTV i do but wanted to keep the room i had there for my scan gauge, thought there may be a different 'box' for fitting under the fascia panel but keeping the same viewing angle. on the rear of the controller is that a plug in fitting or hard wired?

    Ah ha thanks for doing this vlog , was interested in this as I'm also looking into a gvm 3.9 coil conversion from jmacx , and didn't know Wether to go with the king brand or alpha remote res , this would be definitely easier for me . Does the alpha remote ress have adjustable compression and rebound.

      Adjustable compression mate . We get the rebound shimmed to suit the GVM 👍

    May I ask, if there is so much control on shocks, why are airbags needed in the coils then? When/why would you need them?

    • @ProTouringTV
      @ProTouringTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Airbags are for loading control , not ride adjustability. Although we can use them for both…

      @@ProTouringTV so for towing a van with say 300kg ball weight, would you still recommend airbags as well as the Alpha 2.5 electronic system?

    • @ProTouringTV
      @ProTouringTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@scottanna7474 definitely. Airbags are a standard inclusion in our builds for this exact reason. 300kg ball weight plus canopy , gear etc all adds up
