This thing has aged like fine wine. The low video quality and simple yet effective editing actually adds to its charm. It made me pick up majoras mask some 8 years after it’s release, and I *loved* it.
A solid decade and some change since I first watched this as a kid and it's still one of my favorite bits of Zelda fan media out there, both this and your OoT Before the Duel video. Can't think of Majora's Mask without this popping back into my head. Hell, I finally started trying to get into Sonata Arctica outside of this song the other day too thanks to this, and whenever FullMoon comes on I can visualize each bit of this as it happens. Feels weird to say but between this, Before the Duel, and several other vids you've made, thanks for some of the most formative videos of my youth :)
Wow... I saw this video more than 6 years ago. I had never played Majora's Mask, and I had barely even heard of it. I remember being so enthralled by this video and its stunning visuals, and it was still something that would pop into my mind month after month after month, even to today. The visual choices are unmatched and the timing is absolutely perfect. This totally stands up despite the test of time. It introduced me to the wonders of Majora's Mask, and to the awesomeness of Sonata Arctica, and it makes me smile to see that it's still here today. I really hope this message gets to you, because I want you to know that you've made something amazing, and that it's managed to be in my head for all of this time and has never gone away. You are an artist, my friend.
+GigaBowserNS Thank you so much for your kind words, I should have replied to this sooner! Promoting the game/band was always my ultimate goal, so it makes me very happy to read comments like this. 8)

It's still here, and how I still love it. Awesome video that introduced me to Sonata Arctica. Great seeing it in my recommended today. I've gotta play Majora's Mask again now!
I remember rating the video five stars back when I was 11. I'm 20 now. Just found it again after thinking it'd be long gone from copyright. Glad to see it's still here! I had to dislike it so I could like it again!
Oh, the nostalgia. This was one of the first videos I ever saw on TH-cam, and I remember watching it countless times about 10 years ago as a kid... So glad this video is still here. The editing is actually so much better than I would've realized at the time, especially given the year it was made. 10/10 still a classic.
Please remake this in MM3D. This video was my childhood, Im so glad its still up after 13 years. Wherever you are man i hope you're doing well. Thank you
I remember seeing this back in 2007. It introduced me to Sonata Arctica. This is still my favourite fan made music video I've ever seen. Awesome work Jimlad! Thank you.
This vídeo is incredible, I burned it in a CD back in 2008's so I could watch at my DVD any time since we only had internet access at Lan houses. This video should be a cultural heritage
I've been coming here from time to time to remember a part of mi childhood, and yeah, 17 years latter it's still one of the best videos of MM ever made.
I saw this when I was in my freshman year of college. I had been struggling with being a video editor (my dream) or a software programmer (for more financial security). This video (I always loved Majoras Mask) was one of the things that made me declare Film as my major and continue learning video editing and special effects. I am now 24, I graduated college 2 years ago and about a month after graduating got hired by a VERY successful youtube based company as a full time video editor making a very generous wage. Thank you for helping inspire me to follow my dreams :)
Wow that's amazing. I had no idea it would have such an impact on someone's life. Congratulations on your success, sounds like you worked very hard for it.
@@JimLad800 Hey bud! Not sure if you still check this channel but i've recently dedicated to doing youtube full time and I keep thinking back to this video. I've worked multiple jobs in the editing/vfx industry and it's crazy that this passion project you made for fun has more character and personality than a lot of people in the professional field can pull off. This is extremely well edited *especially* for something made 14 friggin' years ago! Hope all is well and thanks for being one of the people who helped me decide my path in life!
This has been one of my favorite music videos for years and I always come back to this. Everything about it is timed really well and every shot is used perfectly. I will never forget this video and the amazing song this video introduced me to.
This was one of the first videos I saw on TH-cam. 8 years later the music video is still great! It's because of you that I learned of this song. Watching this video again makes me pretty sad... Time goes by way too fast.
YOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I finally found this video again after like a decade. Weird to think it's been that long, even weirder that the video is still so good. Past me thanks you for the great music video and present me will thank you for this rush of nostalgia! Have a great day!
That was a superb music video, really good job. Sonata Arctica and the Legend of Zelda the Majora's Mask are both awesome. I first watched this video back in 2007, and it's crazy to know how long it has been, and it is good to know that this video is still around.
Came back to this video today after 4 years and found myself in the comments haha. It's now been 11 years and I still love both this band & Majora's Mask! Hello all to stumble across this corner of the internet :D
17 years later, no longer my favorite, but still one of the best. This video's almost old enough to drink in my province, which is wild to me. I've been through a lot in the past 10 years of these 17, but coming back to this video after all of it feels like visiting a childhood friend. Hope you're doing okay, wherever you are, OP. ❤
23 year old me now. I forgot I had even commented on this 6 years ago and I’m looking back at it again. Nostalgia will never leave and I’m getting old.
What would be cool is if you remade this video with Majoras Mask 3D and the Ecliptica 15 year revisited Full Moon. I always come back to this video every now and then. One of my favorites.
I've had this in my head recently, every shot to the music playing in my mind. Came to check to see if it was still here and it was. Simply amazing; cannot get over the camera pans when on horseback, nothing short of epic.
Thank you! I remember those were not easy to get. Had to target something while riding then charge round it at full speed while avoiding the reticle. All because there was no camera control in this game. 😅
This video...was my very first TH-cam favorite I've ever added since starting this account in May 2007. I finally found the video that not only introduced me to Sonata Arctica but also inspired me to make my first Zelda music videos back in 2008. I'm actually in the middle of making a new one for OoT 3D and I just so happened to stumble across this video again after so many years.

I know I have some comments on this video from nearly 14 years ago, and coming back to watch it again feels so wonderfully nostalgic! It might seem ridiculous but this video (and a few of your other ones) legitimately got me through a bunch of hard times as a kid. First video I ever downloaded myself off the internet lol.
