@@paullombard00 SA is a developing country aka third-world country like Nigeria. So we are in the same group.

My Nigerian hater, the garden route has looked like this for over 50 years. These are some of the oldest towns in the country. Most of us were born with these towns looking like this. The only country that competes with SA is Egypt but we are more developed than them too by every metric. It's strange that Nigeria even with the largest GDP is not in the top 10 most developed countries in the continent in terms of infrastructure because countries like Angola, Algeria, Morocco, Seychelles, Libya, Tunisia and maybe Kenya have better infrastructure than Nigeria and all of them have a higher standard of living than Nigeria. The only country that's better than them is South Africa even though South Africans complain about every single thing under the sun sometimes from a position of ignorance or extreme prejudice or hatred for the current government when New York has more homeless people and potholes than Joburg.

@@luthovellem865 Oh, please... This is the type of bragging that I am talking about, that I don't admire at all. Why don't you solve the hunger problem in SA first before coming here to show off?

@@youme1414 I can't help you unfortunately if you don't value the truth.
What is unfair and unrealistic is when people compare Nigeria to South Africa. Nigeria has 217 million people while SA has 60 million people, even the hunger you speak of can never be compared to the hunger in most African states. The hunger in South Africa simply means you don't have a job but it doesn't mean you don't have a house because the government builds houses for the poor for free, it doesn't mean you don't have access to health care because there is a hospital and clinic in every district municipality and they are free. The schooling system is free and kids in all schools are provided food everyday. Kids are equally provided transportation to school in all towns and villages. The poverty definitions are not the same. The quality of life of a poor South African is far better than that of another poor person anywhere in Africa. On top of that every poor person receives atleast R350 per month if they are unemployed, in addition everyone of their children receives a payment of about R400 per child (You can convert to Naira and see how much we pay a child of a poor person every month in this country)for having a parent that does not work. So if you are unemployed and you have 3 children there are 4 cheques coming to your family for being alive but poor and your child is guaranteed a state loan at University. So stop talking about the poverty of South Africa. Poor people in SA will eat with you in your fancy Lagos restaurant at the end of the month because they get paid even if they don't have jobs. Stop comparing your lousy countries with SA.
