I’ve been going to Knysna for 15 years, between 2-5 times a year, I’ve never once got bored of it. It’s a nice place to be, once you drive into Knysna, it feels like all your stress has gone away, and you have become a new person! One of the most underrated places to go to in South Africa! I´m life in Germany, but was often in SA, because our friends life in Bantry Bay. On Dec. we want to go again to Knysna because we want to buy a property in Pezula and I have to say that your video is so dammmmm cool! You show all the cool places. Thanks a lot for that!

Raymond, I couldn’t agree with you more. The crazy part is that we were just scratching the surface in this video. There is so much to do and some many beautiful places to visit in Knysna but we didn’t have much time. We have to go back and fill a follow-up video at some point ❤️
As a South African I remember the first time I went to Knysna, it was as if I am dreaming. This place is so beautiful, and the people are friendly. I could imagine myself retiring here.

Kev, I don't know if I could have said it any better. For the longest time, I equally only regarded travel as being legitimate if I left our shores but now I am as excited to get on the open road and go on a South African adventure. Of course traveling abroad is awesome too and some of the videos we make this year will be in other countries but I hope that more South Africans act like tourists in their own country too!

I currently work in Kenya but have a retirment home in George. I don't know the area very well as I lived in Durban most of my life before moving to Kenya. After watching "Like a Tourist", I can't wait to explore the areas - including Knysna - when I retire in 2024 and am a permanent resident of the Garden Route. Thank you for sharing your experience. Looking forward to other videos of that coastline, which I'll definitely add to my retirement bucket list of places to visit. Great idea to showcase South Africa in this way.

Wow Wow Wow, Mark I am just Blown away by the actual Beauty of Knysna. I have been there many times but I have never actually seen this side of Knysna it is incredibly Beautiful & Absolutely Stunning. The last time we were there we stayed at the Knysna Quay's self catering Apartments. It's in the Waterfront opposite 34 South Resturant. I wish I knew the Mayor then as we could have seen these Stunning places, Mark you are definitely our tour guide from now on. This video says it all. Wow! Lying in bed on this Easter overcast fresh Sunday watching this amazing clip.. Been living in Plett for passed 25yrs, so I am very fortunate..
