      Creative Awl what is the best weight to use on this project. I have large scraps of different weights and was wondering if some panels would be better lightweight and, if I must use heavier leather because it's all I have left, where is the best place to use that.

As for not being easy to please, care to divulge the wealth of information that led you to that conclusion? I merely said the music was too loud and it took away from the awesome work he did in his video. Anothee pro tip for ya, not all criticism is meant in a negative way. I thoroughly enjoy Creative Awls videos, i just merely gave a recommendation that would make it easier for me to enjoy when im in the company of others, who unlike me, arent watching TH-cam videos at that moment. Hope that helps and feel free to divulge that staggering amount of info anytime

    • @MichaelEgan66
      @MichaelEgan66 ปีที่แล้ว

      @CreativeAwl Thanks for clearing that up. Honestly though, these type videos shouldn't have music at all or have it at a very very low volume so as not to obscure the sounds of your work. Capturing those sounds is just as important as the visual portions. Try it for yourself, watch a few asmr videos of what you do and experience it for yourself. Then look at the amount of likes on the videos where no one is talking or having music playing. That said, this of course doesn't apply to instructional videos. That's a completely different vibe....

    I purchased this pattern and I am not impressed with the amount of work needed just to get the pattern ready to start on the leather. Lots of missing holes on the ends of the pages (yes, the printer was set right, not my first pattern by along shot.) Plan on spending a lot of time getting that top zipper to look and function properly. Over-all it's a nice bag but I wouldn't do it again. Be mindful not to punch holes on the top pocket flap or below it if you are leaving it as an open end pouch. The shoulder strap D-ring holders also don't have holes in the pattern for the small triangle on the folded over part . Etc. Etc.

      Hello Trevor, please contact me directly and let's find a solution. I'm sure there's no missing holes, sewn it 2 times. Some printers cuts the bottom and dont print it correctly. If you want i can reassembly parts on the pages to fit to your purposes or other formats. I've mentioned about flap's holes in video which can be sewn together or just sewn as a decoratively. D-ring holders- are you sure you print that correctly?, becouse there a holes for sure in the small triangle.

      I've printed it with no missing holes. Almost certain it's your printer settings.

    Top zipper with pattern is a very poor choice of design.. Doesn't align at all. Top part Is too large and it's not working.. Design does not equate to project

      Top zipper has been choosen to make it possible to sew. Nice, metal zipper won't align and cause problems on curves makin looks like the top part isnt working. Its working but flexible zipper is needed. If you would still have any problems - please shoot me a message on email or facebook.

    I keep looking at 2 large roles of leather asking myself, what's next?
    I certainly don't NEED more leather bags. At least, I keep telling myself that.
