SoundCloud rappers in rock bands, collaborating like rappers. In all seriousness SYSC AND IIDF are both severely underrated and deserve all the shine they’re about to receive.
All of a sudden, I'm on MySpace with dialup internet while texting my friends from a flip phone and downloading this song from Limewire onto my iPod shuffle and life is good.
SYSC's backing vocals from like 1:45-1:53 gives me that certain tingle that no music has made me feel in a long time. The whole song, in fact. These are two of my favorite newer/up-and-coming artists, and the result is really something special.
I like this a lot but it's not 'groundbreaking' to simply play what was popular 15 years ago. You're either not understanding what the word means or you're too young to have lived through this era the first time.
SYSC or If I Die First? If I Die First is just a bunch of emo rappers doing their shittiest Broadway imitation. They have a decent sound, but they aren't reviving anything.
Perfect timing for this to be released as I only discovered IIDF a week ago and have had them on repeat. Still can't believe it's Travis and Derek from FFTL. I'm 30 but I feel like I'm 15 again, I am absolutely loving this music coming back.
Seeing Lil Lotus hardcore dancing legit made me smile. This shit is refreshing af!! I was waiting for a new track from IIDF, and this was what i needed. They couldn't have made a collab with anyone better than SYSC, either imo
Shoot. Everybody out here posted comments yesterday and hours ago. But anyways, this song is as if Greeley Estates made a collaboration with Drop Dead, Gorgeous.
Gives me those vibes of "Smashed Into Pieces" by Silverstein with the whole same color button shirts and white and red backgrounds! Love this songs so much 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼
this is the most unexpected collab and the best thing happened for a while. Who could see this coming? Like I'm already happy to hear If I Die First releasing something new, but with SYSC? holyshit, this is a dream song. I cannot wait for the split. Cannot stop loving this song. right in the feels.
then you clearly don't follow them on any social media. sysc and iidf members are long date friends... there's a lot of content of them together, posts, stories, etc.
I'm glad these guys are bringing this kind of 2000's post-hardcore/emo sound back to life. I was getting really tired of the generic shit that a lot of bands were putting out in the last decade.
Just want to point out that 10 months ago I commented on the If I Die First - Is It Me or Your Secrets That Keep You Up at Night video saying y'all should tour together...now ya gotta
When i woke up and saw this i was so excited Best parts of both groups and both SYSC and IIDF are my favorite bands in the scene right now I'm so hype to hear the whole split
this reminds of me of my first year of college 2003, getting with hella random girls with flat-ironed hair I met on MySpace and talked to on AIM. dope.

TBF Travis and Derek are from From First To Last so there´s some early 2000´s blood in IIDF
brooo shit be lit though. bringing back that 06 to 08 feel for sure.
This is honestly my favorite collaboration of all time. The energy is so fucking intense.

Yes totally
Exactly how i felt.
I listen to this song so much just to get the nostalgia tingles.
yes i can't stop listening to this part & this entire song
All the vocalists fuckin killed this. Love the mixture of everything.
ok wtf this is epic. ppl can say "it's 2005 again" or whatever but tbh this is groundbreakingly epic and pretty fresh imo
its 2005 in the best way possible.

how is this groundbreaking? it's good af still, but just sounds like shit I was listening to in middle school and high school.

Loved the the music video. I thought the set and outfits were really cool
@@chaosaintme9067 Thank you, Connie and Ethan were amazing in helping build out everything. Couldnt have done it without the help of everyone.

As nice as the set was, it was cool watching them fuck it up like that! LOL! Great work, really well done.

bro... never heard of either bands so I literally thought this was 1 band until like 3 minutes in.... just straight jammin! So good!
I like that they switched the drummers back and forth in the video to give them equal screen time
That last breakdown was nasty af! Great song
Connie is seriously like the best screamer in the scene right now
That breakdown at the end made me want to spin kick like it was 2005. But then I remembered that I'm old and gravity is not my friend
