Greetings from Canada James, Lars and Melissa here. Your creativity has struck a cord with us so much that we have embarked on an experiment combining Semolina and Tomatoes into a wine 🍷. The thought came to us over dinner tonight so a definite recipe hasn't been finalized yet but a tentative name has... Marinara Wine 🍷 Thanks and Good Cheers!
Every grocery store here has been out of semolina since the beginning of the pandemic! We finally bought some when we stumbled across two bags of it this weekend. We’re making pasta!
Making this right now after watching your video, should have done it in a bucket first like you instead of straight in the demijohn, it's throwing up through the air lock right now lol
Hi James, Kiora from New Zealand. I’m looking forward to the tasting of this wine - I going to make this one! I made your Rice & Raisin wine and it’s bubbling away nicely. Just a question though about the Semolina wine, if it tasted great with 1.5kg, why change to 500g? That’s only a 1/3 of the original. Cheers, David.
Hey James! Please do the Aswaganda powder wine next. Same recipe and principles apply to that as well. Low amount of Aswaganda, lime juice for acidity, yeast nutrient etc. I can email you my recipe if you are interested
I made this wine and was a disaster. It was like a bucket full of gloop and sugar. It began to ferment and then stopped. Now I have a bucket of syrupy muck. What a disappointment. The compost has the gloop and the syrup remains in the bucket staring back at me.
James, you come across as a caring individual but alas...... I’m not sure as you haven’t even acknowledged my contribution to your channel - I must say at the least that I’m confused at the way you present yourself in your videos!
I’ve always found his work to be great. And the way he presents himself to be nothing but entertaining and informative. I’ve learned a lot from his vids and as such have about 30 demijohns on the go because of him.

Oui! I am by no means rushing or pressuring you but I am rather eager for your next video! Love the channel! Thankyou!!!
Just checking this recipe out after watching the taste test! I will be making this at the weekend for sure. Thanks again 👍🏼
Bonsoir from Québec !
Just made a batch with a little green tea infused with 1 dried fig and a small amount of maple syrup.
See you in 4 months!
