    Hey, how long do you leave the wine in the demijohn to ferment

  • @karinakiss1093

    Why do ypu only ferment for 3 days not 5-7? Is it because you boiled? Can you cover the bucket with a cloth? Thank you ❤

    ‘Recipes are only guided lines’ you couldn’t be more right mate. Many people use my mead recipes as a baseline and adapt it to their own preference. For example I’m going to follow your video here and then adapt it to make a mead. 🤟🏻 FWGaz

    whats the difference between sherry and wine?

    • @n-9249
      @n-9249 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sherry is a bit oxidated, instead of using an airlock, you plug the airlock with cottonball instead of water/ethanol

    I watched both your rose hop wine videos and can see how you 've changed some things over the years. But you don't use yeast nutrient in either. Is it just for this type of wine that you don't use it, or don't you use it at all?

    🤯 I never knew what rosehips were until today. I thought must've been part of a rose stem or something

    Hi, nice video, I notice that most other recipes online add citrus / acid. What is your thoughts on this?

    My rosehip had a slightly vingerary smell when in the bucket, did you notice the same? Not sure if it's spoiled or normal!

      @HappyHomestead  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I didn't no, but, if it has spoiled, I am sure a rosehip vinegar would be great :)

    Got a bit lost there. So there was 1.5kg of rosehips. Than 2liters of sugary water. How much water was added in total for whole recipe?

    Hello
    Love the Vids.
    Have you ever made hawthorn Berry wine or do you know anyone who has,
    if so, do you know what it tastes like !
    I live beside one particular field that has 100s of hawthorn trees.
    I managed to picked 10 kilos in 2 afternoons, yesterday and today and want to make wine.
    any ideas on the taste !
    will it be a red Wine !
    if the flavor is generally bitter.. is there anything I could add to improve the flavor
    Im in Ireland By the way.. Lots of Slowberry, Blackberry, Elderberry, Rosehips and Hawberry fields
    is it the same recipe as Rosehip Wine
    ive herd it may tastes very dry.. any way to sweeten it a bit to even it out
    Thanks
    Tony
