    I used to hunt . For meat, no money coming in. I couldn't get food stamps and a child to feed . God was with us and some how we had food and our bills didn't get paid but nothing was cut off ! That spring i got a job and paid bills . If not for killing for meat don't now how we would have made it . God was with us !

      As we say in Sohth Africa- "so n bek moet jam kry!! "👌🏼
      Humans are so quick to judge from the comfort of their make-believe cities/world, have no proper knowledge of the Bible, but are oh so quick to let their uninformed comments flow... just to be heard. We should go back to the days when a stupid utterance was met with a firm
      "hou jou bek as jy nie weet waarvan jy praat nie".
      Love your channel and the way you teach the bible to all, in easy-to-understand ways.. well done! May the mercy of our Lord grant you the strength and persistence to continue the good work.

      Jesus said the following: He saves "man and beast" (Psalm 36:6) and demonstrates His sympathy for them. “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful” (Luke 6:36) to show mercy to animals, for example (Luke 10:25-37) to think of compassion for animal neighbors.
      Historical/Biblical evidence Jesus was Vegetarian, However the Europeans didnt have the discipline to adhere to this- so they re.wrote bible and said Jesus ate Fish, And Lamb after his cricifixtion (originial text he never did!!)

    Thank you SO MUCH for addressing this subject. I am almost vegan as I can not eat animals / fish anymore, knowing what it is. I love animals / fish too much to do so. I wonder if the killing of animals occurred as a result of sin. Man would have to be conflicted about killing that which we once lived side by side with, eating only plants with. Man has not been a good caretaker of God's creatures, his creation. ALL a result of sin. Excellent video, Daniel. Thank you & may God continue to use you to share the TRUTH. ❤

    • @robertschmidt9296
      @robertschmidt9296 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Something that Daniel brought up that I caught many, many years ago was the Lord made clothes for Adam and Eve out of skin. Daniel didn't say that the animal died because the Scriptures doesn't say so, which is a prudent move on Daniel's part. But think about this with the rest of Scripture in mind. The punishment for breaking the law, including commandments is death. It's the shedding of Yeshua's blood that covers our sins. Prior to that, the shedding of certain animals symbolically did that.
      When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they became aware that they were naked. Putting all this together, it's very reasonable to believe that the animal(s) that the skin came from died.
      So yes, the killing of animals is the result of sin.

Humans and animals being at each other's throats was NOT part of God's design / intent for creation, as seen in the pre-fall world, as well as the future renewed world of peace and harmony among all creation. This is intended for later, not for today or tomorrow, or for next year
      Until then, God authorized us to hunt and eat what we hunt

    I’ve been hunting European Starlings, an invasive species, which reportedly does damage for farmers (my uncle has been having problems with them) spreads disease and is hard on the native bird population. Aside from those things, I actually think they’re cool and pretty.
    I generally take the meat of what I kill anymore (always have for certain animals but have extended it to animals including coyotes) but haven’t from the starlings as I view it as pest control.
    I thank The Lord for providing us with wildlife to help us in our every day lives.

    God fed Israel not just manna but quail. And in Leviticus God tells you what kind of meat you are suppose to eat.
    You are correct about the chemicals and diseases but that is now happening with just about everything that can be consumed. There are so many recalls on vegetables and fruits. People are passing away from Listeria contamination on fruits and vegetables.
    At this point in time just pray that God Blesses whatever food people consume… which is what every Christian should do is give thanks to God for having something to eat.

    Thank you for a well-balanced presentation. I would only add that the same Bible that says God gave mankind "everything" to eat also qualified that word to exclude "unclean" animals. Words like "everything" and "all" are sometimes used to express a sharp contrast, as when Paul said that "All things are lawful...." No Christian would remove the word "all" there from its context and conclude that we may now murder someone. He was making the point that many things are lawful, but that not necessarily helpful.
    It's fascinating to note that even ordinarily "clean" animals became "unclean" if they were maimed or diseased in Scripture. That suggests that what the Bible designates as "unclean" are permanently diseased. Interestingly, the U.S. military in the WWII-Korean War era commisioned a study because they wanted to know if a military personnel were stranded in the ocean, what was safe to eat. A toxicology test on numerous species of creatures that live in the seas revealed that, without exception, every creature that the Bible calls "unclean" was demonstratably toxic to humans--but that those designated as "clean" were okay. In other words, water creatures which possess both fins and scales were okay, but those who did not possess both fins and scales were toxic to humans. What a coincidence! It looks like God knows what He's talking about!
    Finally, since the Old Testament connects the issue of "clean" and "unclean" animals to physical health, there's no logical way that the cross event could possibly & miraculously transforn all "unclean" animals into "clean" ones. By the way, the context in Romans 14 suggests (doesn't prove, but suggests) that the issue there was the choice of days for fasting (as in fasting from meat). The issue doesn't appear to be the Mosaic Law.
    More could be said, but i cannot go on forever. But again, i thought you did provide a balanced approach to the specific points you were bringing out. Thanks for your ministry!

      why are get stuck in the Old Testament, while the god Jesus Christ have been already resurrected and ascended to heaven, your just bullshiting you, read acts. 10:10-15, what god told to Peter about all those kind of four-footed animals including reptiles and birds.

    • @dougbaker2755
      @dougbaker2755 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @alejandroumaslay3657 I'm not stuck in the Old Testament. But while there is obviously discontinuity between the OT and the NT (we don't sacrifice animals at a temple or keep the annual Hebrew festivals), there is also some continuity between them. The Christian must determine what continues in post-OT times & what doesn't. Christians who simply ignore everything automatically from the OT are basing their theology on a faulty view of the old & new covenants (but that's a longer story that cannot be dealt with in a single comment). Regarding Acts 10, Peter himself eventually understood that the vision had nothing to do with food or meat at all. Instead, Peter explains the meaning of the vision in Acts 11:1-18-- that the Lord was teaching Peter that Gentiles were not unclean & thus to be avoided, but that they too are grafted into the Church if they believe in Jesus. One important principle of Biblical hermeneutics is that we should not use a passage of Scripture to answer a question that is not the topic in the passage. Since the meaning of the vision was clearly (not initially, but after Peter's experience at Cornelius' house) not about meat/food, one cannot legitimately use it to conclude that the distinction between clean and unclean meat has been abolished.
      The context of other NT passages that are frequently used to justify eating unclean meat reveal that (1) in some cases the issue was eating meat offered to idols, (2) income cases it was about a debate on which days to fast from meat, and (3) in some cases it was about Ceremonial uncleanness (based on ritual hand cleansing, not on Scripture).
      Most Christians don't even realize our own Christian history is riddled by anti-Semitic attitudes ingrained from early times, resulting in well more than a millennium of tradition & practice of ignoring certain aspects of God's Law by simply declaring them to be Jewish (as if that was sufficient to ignore them). Believers should periodically review old attitudes in the light of seeking truth whoever it leads rather than resorting to anti-OT polemics in debates like this. Although you may not do so yourself, perhaps someone reading this will eventually.

      @@dougbaker2755 sorry, but the church firmly believes, professes and teaches that every creature of god is good and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because according to the word of the lord not what goes into the mouth defiles a person, and because the difference in the mosaic law between clean and unclean foods belongs to ceremonial practices, which have passed away and lost their efficacy with the coming of the gospel, it also declares that the apostolic prohibition, to abstain from has been sacrificed to idols and from blood and from what is strangled, was suited to that time when a single church was rising from Jews and gentiles, who previously lived with different ceremonies and customs, this was so that the gentiles should have some observances in common with Jews, and occasion would be offered of coming together in one worship and faith of god and a cause of dissension might be removed, since by ancient custom blood and strangled things seemed abominable to Jews, and gentiles could be thought to be returning to idolatry if they ate sacrificial food, in places, however, where the Christian religion has been promulgated to such an extent that no Jew is to be met with and all have joined the church, uniformly practicing the same rites and ceremonies of the gospel and believing that to the clean all things are clean, since the cause of that apostolic prohibition has ceased, it condemns, then, no kind of food that human society accepts and nobody at all neither man nor woman, should make a distinction between animals, no matter how they died, although for the health of the body, for the practice of virtue or for the sake of regular and ecclesiastical discipline many things that are not prescribed can and should be omitted, as the apostle says all things are lawful, but not all are helpful.

      The instructions God gave to the Israelites in the Old Testament are pretty straight forward. No strangling of animals. No torture. The kill must be merciful and quick. They had to do this every day (or even multiple times per day) for sacrifices in the temple. The animals were eaten, so it is without a doubt permitted, but only select animals, and it must be done effectively. It would be a dreadful sight to see an animal being tortured to death or slain in an inhumane way (i.e. suffering in pain). For the unknown, always pray over the food you receive. There are too many unknowns beyond our control these days.
