i confess and am extremely hungover after blacking out last night. I had a terrible night after excessive drinking and started a fight with my family and ended up in a bad situation. This video is what I need right now. Thank you Jesus.
I don't know why I clicked on this video because I'm 15, obviously I don't drink. However, I'm so glad I clicked on it because the personal convictions part rlly blew my mind. I have always been really confused about that part of the BIble, and you opened my eyes. Thank you so much Impact for your amazing videos every Saturday, it's like you pack a sermon's-worth of Biblical teaching into a fun, engaging, (and cute!) 10-minute video.

I mean... What kind of drinking doesn't lead to drunkenness? Let's be real here. Is like saying taking poison is not a sin, but dieing from the poison it is. Don't drink, is not worth it, end of discussion.
sipping on one beer in social occasions won’t cause you to get drunk. all depends on your self control. I personally am able to have one beer at a restaurant and be fine. But in my early 20s I used to drink purposely to get drunk but I’m at a time in my life now I can enjoy a single drink and not get drunk
I actually have refused to drink after having a nasty (in terms of taste) experience I'd rather just stay away from drinking as a whole. It's easier to never start than to get out a hole you get yourself in. I have never had a full beverage, just one sip. I feel the same way about drinking as you. There's plenty good alternatives, I'll take an apple Izzie over a wine any day.
I used to drink - a lot. Realized how much it was costing me & my family is more ways than one and stopped. I still have the urge though -- there are days when it seems as though I am doing everything I can to the best of my ability, but its just never enough. At work, at home, in my mind... I just really feel like giving up sometimes but I know drinking isn't the answer. I know Jesus is, but feel still like I'm letting Him down. I'm not smart enough to understand the bible & study it & interpret the meanings of it all. I think I'm just tired of even trying.
“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit.”
Sober can simply mean, "not drunk". People often use it to mean they never drink alcohol, but that's not the only definition. The verse isn't saying to never, never, not once ever, drink alcohol. It's simply telling you to abstain from drunkness.
and praise God it means all things and not just alcohal, and who cares what some satan worshipping baby murdering adrenochrome using elite say? romasn 13 1 EWW matthew 4 8 TRUTH!
I never drink to excess and usually just drink a little wine to go to sleep faster, but I feel ashamed to pray or read God's Word if I have had a drink. Also, I feel convicted when I buy alcohol because I am hesitant to share my faith with the person who sold it to me because I might confuse them. I needed this message.
I don’t feel “ashamed” to pray or read the Bible if I have had some wine, but I do feel that the alcohol will interfere with anything God would have spoken to me about in the passages I would have been reading afterwards.
Talking with God and being spoken to by Him can not be affected by you drinking alcohol, what gives you your righteous state is what Christ did on the Cross but the Bible also says do not do it in excess, keeping this is important especially for our health.
It doesn’t matter if I’m “allowed” to drink or not, I’m not going to. I lost both my grandparents (not dead but just completely unrecognizable drunks) to it, and I’m not going to go down the road I’ve seen so many people fall victim to. I know very well I wouldn’t have the willpower to stop myself from drinking if it got to a not so great point. I encourage all of you who haven’t had a drink before and are thinking about it, just don’t. You’re not missing out on anything, and your life will be just a little bit better, as to the contrast of it becoming a whole lot worse. (Either way, whatever choice you make, Jesus still loves you)
Alcoholism can be partly genetic. If you have genes that put you at greater risk of getting addicted when you consume alcohol, then you've probably just saved yourself even more.
@@euphoria13085 yep, I uh found that a have a lack of self control once I find myself in a situation like addiction, so I probably wouldn’t be able to pull myself out of that pit if I fall down into it.
I don't drink anymore, but I have no problem with those who do. My friends, church family, and wife do, but I don't. Why? Because I can't control myself. One time, I drank, and I just wanted more and more( I'm honestly surprised I didn't die), and let's just say I got myself in lots of trouble. Thankfully, God got me out of it. And ever since then, I never drank again ( 2 yesrs sober), and I've never gone back, and I love it. Thank you, Jesus
@@Alesay0 Peace be with you Friend ❤️ Smoking is Really different. Tho it is Not Explicitly Said that Smoking is a Sin. There are Principles around it, which can help us know that it is a Sin.
I was drinking every night starting in 2021. I told everyone it was for sleeping. In my heart I knew i wanted to drink. My health started going down. I finally gave it to the Lord and stopped a few months ago. I thought I’ll not get much sleep and everything is going to hurt. Not so. I slept so good and it’s only getting better. My health is much better. My relationship with the Lord is much closer and I am so grateful to the Lord for helping me. We take the first step towards what it is we are asking the Lord for and He walks us the rest of the way. ❤
I lost a very important friend because of the way I was acting while drunk during a girls trip. I had to re evaluate my relationship with alcohol and felt convicted to stop. That’s when I discovered there was a lot of hurt and pain I was suppressing. God’s been restoring me ever since.
@@Murph_gaming Having 100% self-control means you will never succumb to temptation. I have self-control, but it's not absolute; and because it's not absolute, I don't trust myself. Thus, I trust God's Word which is absolute.
Also as an alcoholic myself, I used to do what he is talking about in the end , which is forcing my own true beliefs and convictions over alcohol down other people’s throats. I used to believe that it was a sin to drink period and I used to try to tell people that were of legal age (I’m not . I am 19 and became an alcoholic at 16 after I’d been through so much trauma ; my Mawmaw had passed away and I drank in order to cope with it.) that they couldn’t drink and that they were hurting their bodies and weren’t a real Christian if they did this . Now I know from this video that it’s not true that drinking is a sin . I used to get so triggered if people who were of legal age drank around me but now I do not mind as long as they are not forcing it on me. Just because God wants me to not drink alcohol doesn’t mean that is the case for other people. We are all different and they may be able to control their alcohol consumption. I cannot and that’s why I don’t drink .
It's strange how Christian fellowship seems to revolve around unhealthy eating. I've been to many church potlucks and buffets where if anything gluttony was encouraged.
Your videos are soo awesome!! Thank you!! I don't drink as well. It took a while to realize that I don't drink for the taste, but the feeling. The more I would drink the better I felt. Afterwards the issues I had would still be there though. When I stopped I realized that even on my toughest days, with Jesus in my life, I could make it through without a drop of liquor. I could face my issues head on with a clear and peaceful mind. Thanks again!!
I think a sin can be anything you put above God. If I drink it is not a sin because it is just 1 here or there, but to an alcoholic it is always a sin, because that takes over and the person puts it above God. I used to smoke a pack a day, it took over my whole day, i would schedule things around finding a time to stop and smoke, yet some people would have 1 or 2 socially on the weekend, and it not really be an issue. I think with this definition of sin, most any thing such as watching TV, social media, video games, watching sports, shopping, even something like eating, can be a sin if you take it to the point that you start putting it before God and it starts running your life
I have just discovered your channel about a week ago, and I had to write to tell you what a blessing it has been for me and my family. I also watched your face reveal video recently and how difficult it has been to maintain the channel and content. I am praying for you and your team to have the provision you need to continue to produce content like this, even if it's not as often. The value in your videos and the messages you produce are priceless. My wife and I have three teenage children that I have been exposing to your videos and they are absolutely perfect for them! I can't express how much of a perfect fit your content has been for all of us. My wife and I have been Christian for a long time and our children are Christian as well, but we all need the Gospel presented in ways that stirs our spirits and speaks to us through the Holy Spirit, such as your content. I will be donating regularly to your ministry here online, and even though it's not much, I pray that it provides a larger impact into the needs and provisions required to help you in your ministry. Praying for you and your team to be blessed and look forward to the next video, even if you need a little more time going forward. :)
your comment made my day. thank you so much for your encouragement, and im so grateful our channel has blessed your family. i hope we continue to do so :)
9:45 HACKSAW RIDGE!!! YO!! 😱 That movie got me to realize, God is the only help you need in warfare, no gun, no knife, no weapons, Only God can do it all through Faith. 😇
That character was actually prideful and egotistical, and thus was of his father the devil. God is clear in the Bible that killing is ok in wartime and especially if it is for a just cause.
God did not mean the communion wine to have alcohol. It should never! If it really was okay, why would the Bible say, Proverbs 20:1 - “Wine is a mocker, strong drink is a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.”
“I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom.” Jesus Himself said this to clarify. Fruit of the vine would imply the grape fruit. They were drinking, in simple terms, grape juice. In the Old testament- "I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine..."(Haggai 1:11) Mountains cannot produce alcoholic wine. They can only produce fresh grapes or their juice. This is the sweet wine or the new wine that Jesus talks about. New wine is processed and preservatives added. But if not carefully preserved and left in a hot climate, this will get fermented and become alcoholic. This is the old wine that can make new wineskins burst if kept in them . There are several examples of people of God being instructed not to have wine, not little, not more, but not to have wine. If you still have further doubt, God will certainly speak to you and show you what's right. Depend on Him alone 😊
I hate alcohol, drugs and smoke so much I will make a demand in heaven to ask God to toss all of these things into the lake of fire when the world will be changed for the better after Jesus returns. Because of these things my family became dysfunctional and my old friendships were ruined because of it.
I completely understand where you're coming from, having experienced a family member with serious alcoholism before. I would only encourage you to consider how alcohol that has been so destructive in your life is not so in many others, and is actually a blessing to many when used in accordance with God's word on the subject. Don't let your personal feelings and convictions over it allow you to wrongly condemn other believers. Remember that the Lord Jesus Christ's first miracle was to turn water into especially fine wine. As a Christian brother who doesn't share your view on it, I fully support your choice to shun all alcohol in a spirit of the love of Christ.
I was wondering about this a lot recently. I turned 18 in may and that is the legal drinking age here in the UK. I have my school leavers' ball/ prom at the end of the month. There will be a bar and I want to be careful. I will prob drink but I will follow all these instructions! Thank you for this video!
I liked the vídeo and your point of view, but you forgot, or didn't even mention, that we are the temple of God, and whoever destroys this temple, God will destroy him. I didn't say in that sentence that drinking is wrong (even though that conclusion is inferred in the sentence), but it would really be an act of gratitude for our body and consideration for the Holy Spirit who dwells within every Christian who seeks Him.
The timing of this video is crazy! I live in Canada where the drinking age is +19, me and my christian brothers are turning this age this year and this is something we have been talking about recently. It is what i needed to hear and i will be sharing it with the others. Thanks and God bless!
Yeah, you may drink, BUT the Bible says that sobriety is a royal distinction of wisdom and a requirement for priesthood: Proverbs 31:4-7 It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more. in other words: sobriety is linked to Wealth and honor, drunkenness is associated with poverty, misery, sorrow, perish, injustice and perversion. BUT yeah, you may drink, it's up to you :) .
I'm a Christian. Praise God! I drink beer, and sometimes wine. I usually only have a drink while I eat dinner occasionally. The only other times are during joyous celebrations, i.e., wedding, anniversary, birth, etc. Never more than a couple of beers or a couple of glasses. Jesus himself created wine. Though, this video opened my eyes to more considerations for the future. Thank you for this video!
I'll have a beer after a hard day's work (if it's actual labor, no office labor...just not the same). It's usually with other laborers and tradesman, but actively avoid becoming drunk. So yes couple of beers, and ofc wine every now and then I can keep my faculties. Drinking to get drunk, rather than savoring and enjoying it, is where it becomes a problem.
Wait, can you help me with this question I got a sip of achoal from a family member of mine to see how it taste but I'm under the legal age to drink so did I sin against God?
Your videos have been very helpful for my walk with Christ and how to synthesize scriptures together. You’re doing a great job, keeping spreading God’s word and leading people to Jesus!
I agree his channel has been a true mind opener to me and even answered questions I’ve had for a long time with the best example I can think of is “Why did God create Sin?” with the answer being he didn’t sin is merely being the absent of God
@@LeeshayVolmink Proverbs 23:31-32 and Proverbs 20:1 tells us that wine(alcohol) has a bad impact on us. So yes, that is a sin in Adventist belief. But it won't cause you to not go to heaven. Wine symbolized the Holy Spirit. For those who are filled with His Spirit, wine becomes unnecessary. I know because I used to be alcohol dependent. Never liked the taste but really loved the "peace" and false sense of happiness. I have God’s Spirit now and THAT feels intoxicating!😊💕🕊🌈
@@essieaku3563 I've never heard of wine being linked to The Holy Spirit. Do you have a biblical context? I'm not cynical or claiming you're a liar, I just want to know if there is something fundamental that I have missed?
18Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18,19
Alcohol absolutely destroyed my life, and it took years to come back from it. I say stay away, but some people are definitely more susceptible to addiction than others.
I disagree with thought #2 saying god put the governing authority in power and not to question them or the laws. This would mean we sinned when we fought for our freedom against Britain and went against the Tea Tax or that god put Hitler in power of Germany so we shouldn't have questioned his laws against the Jews. I think its a lot more complicated than just following every law blindly and I don't believe God is responsible for all of this, we still have free will and we have the freedom to fight for what we believe in and think is right.
I've always thought of it as, if they're not telling you to do something sinful, don't be disobedient. With the Hitler example for instance, he was telling people to commit all sorts of atrocities, so, in that instance, not submitting to authority would be right. However, when it comes to a government telling you to do something that isn't sinful, like waiting until you're 21 to drink, you should respect that authority.
I dont have a problem with drinking. I have rules I follow 90% of the time. 1: I don't buy alcohol myself. People who drink usually buy enough for everyone to have some, so I share with them. If I do buy something, it's very, very rarely 2-3 times a month if that. 2: I don't keep alcohol in my fridge. I don't buy boxes of alcohol so there is no reason for me to keep any. 3: When I drink, I make sure that I keep it to a minimum with the majority of my drinks to have less than 7% of alcohol in it. I don't like the hard stuff. I like fruit flavored drinks 4: I make sure not to drink every time I do go out with friends. I can easily say no. Also helps for me to keep myself out of trouble and look out for others 5: I don't get drunk. I never have been drunk or blacked out, and I pray the Lord keeps me that way. I know he can when I do my part by feeding his spirit and not my own. If i ever stumble, I will make sure to give up drinking
I drink alcohol but rarely. But if in my head I am having a moment/bad day, etc…. If I am telling my self I want a drink I don’t because then I am just using it as a coping mechanism
I can’t really drink alcohol anymore. I got stomach ulcers from eating spicy food. Really would’ve liked to try the Blue Hawaii Martini but my nearest Red Lobster location shut down. Could this be a sign that God really wants me to retain my self-control?
Nothing wrong with drinking wine or beer as long as you exercise self-control and do not get drunk. But if drinking will stumble a WEAK conscience christian, then do not drink in front of the WEAK conscience christian. (1 Corinthians 8:9-13 Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak. For if someone with a weak conscience sees you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols? So this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge. When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall.) Because if a christian believes that drinking is a sin and he gives in to what he believes is a sin, he has sinned in the area of lack of faith and NOT in the area of drinking. (Romans 14:23 But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.)
Alcoholism led me to AA, which got me thinking of a Higher Power, which led me to Christ. So, in a terrible way, drinking led me to salvation. I dont recommend this route though.
Hello, God bless you, your videos are very helpful, I have a related question, is dancing a sin? I usually dance to kpop and other styles of music, but I don't know if it's a bad thing 😓
VERY well written. One of the best teachings I’ve seen on this topic in a very long time. Side note. I find it interesting that violating your conscience can bring condemnation on you. Why? Because it comes from faith. Of course learning and growth can change this. Nice background music!
Heyy Impact Video Ministries, I truly believe that God sent you to help people like me who can't much interpret the Words of God and the directions of Him. THANK YOU SOO MUCH YOU REALLY HELP ME SO MUCH. I have a request, I am a student from Meghalaya India, I am addicted to my Phone . I can't break through this . Please can you guide me to break the chain of this addiction 🙏🏻❤️❤️
I will never understand drinking, last month I went drinking with my friends because we had a reason to celebrate. I tried it, and it's just drinking and drinking until you feel your belly is full or feel nausea. I didn't get why so many people liked it. But I guess that's what gets you addicted.
If you cannot control your drinking habit then DO NOT DRINK. I barely drink and on my way to stop it at all so that lost soul can follow God's way and be saved. Most of the time we do drink with those who are not christian and they don't learn but for the glory of God to win a lost soul we should be an exemple
Video ideas thought from last video: I thought of how you may be a mature Christian and wonder should I make this video but some Christians are at different stages so you can make all types of videos even though you may think this is too basic but many Christians still need the milk
I at one time would drink to get drunk, then i started attending a church and we were told by a pastor there not to drink because it could cause a brother to stumble and not to go buy alcohol from the store because it could cause someone to say well if they can then so can I... I'm now at a different church and have had a drink with a few of the congregants, but before I even order a drink I make sure that all members that are present are ok with it and that it's not going to cause them to stumble. If one claims it'll cause them to stumble I won't order a drink and advise the others not to either to help our brother. I tend to enjoy a drink at home more than I do when I'm out though.
Seems like a bunch of other things, self control is key. If one can’t control themselves, they should simply not do it. But if y’all drink and can maintain control for the most part, word of the wise: drink strictly local & regional brands (various craft beers) instead of the EVERYWHERE USA & multinational brands (Budweiser, Guinness, Blue Moon, Heineken). It has nothing to do with scripture, but something I learned in recent years in particular… especially when I travel.
I only started recently but like having one a year not even I never thought it was bad it was just something I didn't want to do as I couldn't stomach the taste (still can't) Most alcoholic drinks I won't touch and I've never been drunk honestly if I think it's a risk I won't do it Honestly 99% the time i still choose not to im just not closed off to it
People can say whatever they want about religion, god is not real, bible is lying and all of that, but it will never destroy my faith, and i will still shout: im a theist!
Ok so "take up your own cross" means to not do what you desire for god. But why is it not useless because Christianity is religion of the heart so if you wanna do that and you desire to then in your heart you already commited that Sin. So why isn't it not useless?
I’m 12 and I don’t drink but when I’m in Italy I do have tastes (it is nice😋) but Ik when I’m older I will never be drunk! Cuz it’s a sin and I want to be like god and listen to him! ✝️💟☦️🛐
I never had a problem with alcohol. I quit drinking it years ago however, I do know that some can have medicinal uses. A common drink for a sore throat, cold, etc. is a strong proof alcohol, honey, and some type of tea. I have a small stash but like many don't feel the need or want to drink it.
i am a big fan of you and i only drink coffee, juice, and water but i don't drink beer, soda, or very unhealthy things because i hate drinking beer or soda but i love your videos and i am interested in your content and i love your drawings❤❤
IMPACT I HAVE A QUESTION if has a personal conviction of something that could be wrong what I do? for example someone has a personal conviction against eating meat 🍖
Drinking in moderation is fine. But when it hurts you or someone else, then it's a major problem. And those who know that a fellow believer has a problem with alcohol, please don't drink around them and cause them to stumble.
Awesome video! Very informative. Could you elaborate in a video on convictions in a separate video at some point? I’d love hear your take on the topic. I have to say, I definitely agree with what opinions you gave on the topic in Point #6. I feel there is a lot to go over with this topic such as concerns of legality, conviction vs condemnation, and other things. I’ve seen a lot of Christians to grapple with their convictions and others calling said convictions “legalistic” or “nonsensical”. I’ve seen so many people battle with this topic in their walk.
I’m Muslim, but doesn’t “sins” not matter cause “believing that Jesus is god” will make you lose all your sins, in Islam alcohol is haram (sin), though the point of having sins is to differentiate between those who simply say “I believe in one God” but then sin and those who say it but actually mean it by NOT sinning, therefore being rewarded more with the mercy of god. Doesn’t this make more sense?
Trusting in Jesus cleanses from sin, because Jesus died as a ransom for our sins. If God is consistently Holy and just, He must deal with our sin. But since He is loving and merciful, Jesus Christ took our sins on himself at the cross. You and I have both sinned and deserve the wrath of God, but if we repent and put our trust in Jesus Christ He will forgive us, cleanse us from sin, and give us a new heart that wants to please God and not sin.
Speaking of thought no. 4, I remember a drunk driving incident in my own country from 3 years ago where the driver lost control of his BMW mini coupe due to excess alcohol and he drove at a speed of more than 100 km/h on a road of shophouses. The car crashed into a shophouse door and went up in flames. All four people in the vehicle including the driver were killed. The driver’s girlfriend even rushed to the scene to rescue him and got burned herself; She got seriously injured from the flames but did not die 😢. This is why you must never drive when you are drunk
Can someone please tell me if vaping is a sin? Im struggling so bad to stop vaping. I am a new christian and this is the only thing I struggle so badly with 😞 thank you in advance ♥️♥️
Me to brother. I just recently tried to stop vaping and I could only go about 4 day without it before I got some more vape juice. I think there are a couple things that apply to vaping. #1 like he said with drinking if you can't say no to it as easily as you can say yes to it then that's a problem and a sign of addiction. #2 the Bible says our bodies are the temple of God and we should treat our bodies as such. So I know vaping isn't as bad as smoking cigarettes but it's still not as good as breathing regular air and vaping has no good side effects to it. Since I was trying to stop vaping myself and did some research on it while I was I found out that the withdraw symptoms of quitting vaping can last long than cigarettes (4-6 weeks) I'm gonna try to slowly get off vaping instead of going cold turkey and maybe that will work better. Maybe we can pray for each other for strength and we can do this together brother💪😎🙏🏻✝️✝️✝️

But most food is good for you while alcohol does nothing at all but kill you slowly.
Maybe try melatonin to help with falling asleep.
@@EmpoweredByHisGrace Thank you for the suggestion. I have been using it, but even 10mg doesn't always work, and it gives me weird dreams.
@@Just_a_Reflection try to avoid electronics an hour before your go to sleep as well.
(Either way, whatever choice you make, Jesus still loves you)
If I ever do have a drink, I may have it at my wedding, might be a one time thing. Don’t think I’m willing to make any exceptions after that one tho.
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandparents.. God bless you💝
Alcoholism can be partly genetic.

Yes I had to give up drinking as well I didn’t know my limits it was getting out of hand
Same here bro! I feel you. Iv been sober aswell for 3 years this summer, best decision ever.

drinking itself is not, but when it is in excess and leads to drunkenness, that’s sin
Yes, I’m pretty sure it’s similar with smoking (getting high, also destroys lungs)

And let's not forget, Jesus said "Drink this wide because this is my blood"
Yeah

Peace be with you Friend ❤️
Smoking is Really different.
God bless you 🙏✝️❤️
Amen!!!! Stay encouraged and thank you for your testimony 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😊
I lost a very important friend because of the way I was acting while drunk during a girls trip. I had to re evaluate my relationship with alcohol and felt convicted to stop. That’s when I discovered there was a lot of hurt and pain I was suppressing. God’s been restoring me ever since.
I plead Romans 14. If drunkenness is a sin, I will avoid its cause.

Thats the best way.
Yes, if you have no self-control.
@@Murph_gaming Having 100% self-control means you will never succumb to temptation. I have self-control, but it's not absolute; and because it's not absolute, I don't trust myself. Thus, I trust God's Word which is absolute.
Adultery is a sin, will you get castrated?
Would you please make a video about gluttony? I feel like it's not talked about a lot. Thanks:>
Thanks again!!
thank you for your constant encouragement. theyre a blessing :)
God is clear in the Bible that killing is ok in wartime and especially if it is for a just cause.
i have absolutely no intention of ever drinking alcohol, except maybe as communion wine. dude, your videos are AWESOME!
God did not mean the communion wine to have alcohol. It should never! If it really was okay, why would the Bible say, Proverbs 20:1 - “Wine is a mocker, strong drink is a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.”
@@prahladarao6256 But what were the disciples drinking with Jesus during the first Lord's Supper if that's the case?
@@Wadusherthey were drinking alcohol 🍸
“I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom.” Jesus Himself said this to clarify. Fruit of the vine would imply the grape fruit. They were drinking, in simple terms, grape juice.
In the Old testament-
"I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine..."(Haggai 1:11)
Mountains cannot produce alcoholic wine.
No need to ask him all sin will be thrown in there
You aren't in a position to be demanding anything from God. Ask and you will recieve.

Yeah, you may drink, BUT the Bible says that sobriety is a royal distinction of wisdom and a requirement for priesthood:
Proverbs 31:4-7
It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
All due respect, I doubt heavily that god appointed people to the US Government.
This administration agrees with abortion. Does that make it okay?
Plz pray for me.. I vape and I'm actually trying to stop but it's hard. I made the nicotine less but still hard to stop. God Bless

Jesus is the LORD I Love You Jesus I Love You Holy Spirit I Love You Father Jesus is the LORD!
What a fantastic video. Great explanation
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV
I dont have a problem with drinking. I have rules I follow 90% of the time.
1: I don't buy alcohol myself. People who drink usually buy enough for everyone to have some, so I share with them. If I do buy something, it's very, very rarely 2-3 times a month if that.
2: I don't keep alcohol in my fridge. I don't buy boxes of alcohol so there is no reason for me to keep any.
3: When I drink, I make sure that I keep it to a minimum with the majority of my drinks to have less than 7% of alcohol in it. I don't like the hard stuff. I like fruit flavored drinks
4: I make sure not to drink every time I do go out with friends. I can easily say no. Also helps for me to keep myself out of trouble and look out for others
5: I don't get drunk. I never have been drunk or blacked out, and I pray the Lord keeps me that way. I know he can when I do my part by feeding his spirit and not my own. If i ever stumble, I will make sure to give up drinking
In the Outro, point #5 says Drinking SHOULD Cause Other Christians To Stumble. I'm just letting you know! 😃
Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall.)
Because if a christian believes that drinking is a sin and he gives in to what he believes is a sin, he has sinned in the area of lack of faith and NOT in the area of drinking.
However, it is important to be careful with your testimony and ask yourself, does drinking help me with my relationship with God?
VERY well written. One of the best teachings I’ve seen on this topic in a very long time.
Side note. I find it interesting that violating your conscience can bring condemnation on you. Why? Because it comes from faith. Of course learning and growth can change this.

If you cannot control your drinking habit then DO NOT DRINK. I barely drink and on my way to stop it at all so that lost soul can follow God's way and be saved. Most of the time we do drink with those who are not christian and they don't learn but for the glory of God to win a lost soul we should be an exemple
Thank you for the video, this gives me so much comfort to know how to be a responsible Christian♥
Best not to drink alcohol at all. Like are you only going to eat just 1 oreo? Of course not, you'll eat 6 or more. Alcohol is no different.

Drinking in moderation is fine. But when it hurts you or someone else, then it's a major problem. And those who know that a fellow believer has a problem with alcohol, please don't drink around them and cause them to stumble.
That’s with everything, even with money, money isn’t bad but overusing it and being obsessed than it’s a sin
No, but over-excessively, Yes.
So technically don't drink alcohol
It leads to sin or lead others to sin 😢❤
Nazis made laws too. If it's not God's law then not all laws are good.
