    ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
In this video, Daniel explains what the Bible says about tattoos, and answers the question 'Are tattoos a sin?'. Did you know that there are over 600 laws in the old testament? The question then is ' Should we as Christians still follow all the old testament laws?' or are we now under the new covenant that Jesus established between us and God when He died for our sins on the cross? Well, in this video Daniel will answer these questions and more. In the video Daniel gives a biblical view of tattoos and he will give you his opinion on if it is okay for a Christian to get a tattoo. At the end of the video Daniel will tell you why he decided to get his first tattoo and he will also explain the meaning behind his tattoo. If you ever wondered if Christians can have tattoos or what the Bible really says about tattoos then watch the full video and decide for yourself.

This was fantastic! No, I have no tattoos. Nor do I judge those that do.
    Great video, filled with truth.
And, agreed, the fighting among the Brethren is heartbreaking.

Our God is truly unique. He doesn’t want TATTOOS, candles, flowers, incense or religious sacrifices. He wants all our love.
and he answered, "you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." (Luke 10:27)
The best offering you can offer Him is YOU.
God created our physical body, this temporary tent. As long as we live on earth, we must care for it. BUT This body is not an idol. Glorification of our physical body is not His will. We are called to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice to Him (Note, it’s a living one not a dead thing) i.e. offer our entire body to Him as tools of righteousness. (Romans 12:1) Tattoos are a method of glorification of our physical body. It doesn’t convey the glorious work that God is doing in you.

What if an older son says he wanted a tatoo because he has prayed about it and he's convinced to get one. And the parent says no. Is that a sin because he's rebellious to his parents like u say. Or is it not a sin because he has prayed like u say. Very confusing because you gave a list of reasons that u can sin if u get one. Either it is a sin or not a sin.. You cannot overlap a sin or add layers to it to make us guilt-free.

TO ALL THE CHRISTIANS FULLY READ THIS PLEASE:
The single most important message of all prophets to their people was to worship God alone and none else and to follow His teachings. All of them, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Jesus, Muhammad and others, in addition to those we do not know - invited people to worship God and shun false gods.
Moses declared:"Hear, O Israel The Lord our God is one Lord."(Deuteronomy 6:4). This was repeated 1500years later by Jesus, when he said: "The first of all the commandments is, ‘Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord.’(Mark 12:29)
So, the greatest commandment, the most important belief according to Jesus, is that God is one. If Jesus was God he would have said, ‘I am God, worship me.’ Instead, he merely repeated a verse from the Old Testament confirming that God is One.
Jesus did not say, "I am God." There is not a single text in the Bible. Jesus says, "I am God." He said more than thirty times that he is a prophet and messenger. He said he's human more than 82 times. This is what the Qur'an says that Jesus is the Messenger of God.
This aligns with the mission of Jesus, as taught in Islam, where Jesus was sent to the Children of Israel to confirm the message of the past Prophets - to believe in the One True God.
most Christians nowadays believe in trinity.. Jesus said i came not to destroy the commandments of moses i came just to fulfill.
Muslims reject the Christian belief that God is a Trinity, not only because the Quran rejects it, but also because if this was God’s true nature, He would have clearly revealed it to Abraham, Noah, Jesus and all of the other prophets.
ISLAM is the submission in worship to Allah Alone and it is the essence of all the Messages sent to all nations before us. Allah is All-Just and All-Wise. He does not intend confusion for His Creation. The religion accepted to Him is the one chosen by Him. Its essence must be One, because He is One. It is free from geographical, racist, and status oriented concepts. It is Perfect and it is the complete way of life. All these qualities are chosen by Allah in His Only Religion: Islam. Its details are in in the Qur’an, read it and come with an open heart because none can expose better than the World of Allah. The Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad. He did not author it. He was unlettered. Its translation is available in many languages in bookstores or in an Islamic Center close to you. Take the time to read it and come/call the Islamic Center, or speak to someone who re-verted and submitted to Allah Alone.

We are wonderfully and beautifully made. What God did not include in our formation, should not be added. I judge no one but for those who have no tattoos yet, it's good to know that the spirit of God would not direct you to modify his temple by tattooing or piercing your body. What the spirit of God will do is to cultivate a spirit of studying His word in us if we ask Him and help us remember that which we learn of Him.

@TiMMY2PH0NE5 Greetings. I would answer outrightly but not judgmental, YES they do fall under same category.
If God had required of society so great a sacrifice for his sake, what mourning we should bear of the terrible burdens imposed upon those who follow Christ. But the slaves to fashion take these burdens upon themselves, and make their own life very wearisome with needless care, in their anxiety to keep pace with fashion. They lay upon the altar of fashion, health, happiness, life and Heaven.
Christians cannot afford to make this great sacrifice. They cannot afford to sow to the flesh and reap corruption. That which ye sow ye shall also reap. Now is the sowing time. The reaping time hasteth. What will the harvest be? The inspired apostle addresses us, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

      Read this;
      *Dangerous Fashions*
The cruelties the tyrant of fashion inflicts upon her slaves-willing though they be-are indeed appalling. Just to think of ladies upon whom nature has lavished her charms, submitting to the enameling process only to become subject to paralysis or drop dead from its effects. Others, again, seeking to be fairer than the fairest, are allured by the glaring words, 'laird's bloom of youth,' and similar poetic phrases, and eagerly seize upon the poisonous compounds, only to suffer the excruciating pains of neuralgia or breathe out a painful and lingering existence from the effects of slow poison introduced into the system by their use."
The majority of pleasure lovers attend the fashionable night gatherings, and spend in exciting amusements the hours God has given them for quiet rest and sleep in order to invigorate the body. Hours are spent dancing. The blood becomes heated; the system is exhausted; and while in this feverish state of excitement, the late suppers are introduced, and the unnatural appetite is indulged, to the injury, not only of the physical, but the moral health. Those things which irritate and burden the stomach, benumb the finer feelings of the heart, and the entire system must feel it, for this organ has a controlling power upon the health of the entire body. If the stomach is diseased, the brain nerves are in strong sympathy with the stomach, and the moral powers are overruled by the baser passions. Irregularity in eating and drinking, and improper dressing, deprive the mind and corrupt the heart, and bring the noble attributes of the soul in slavery to the animal passions.
Many in returning to their homes from these night scenes of dissipation, expose themselves to the damp, chilly air of night. They are thinly clad with thin slippers upon their feet, the chest not properly protected, and health and life are sacrificed. By the limbs and feet becoming chilled the circulation of the blood through the system is unbalanced. Very many have, by pursuing this course, brought upon themselves lung difficulties and various distressing infirmities, which have, in a few months, carried them to an untimely grave.
Many are ignorantly injuring their health and endangering their life by using cosmetics. They are robbing the cheeks of the glow of health, and then to supply the deficiency, use cosmetics. When they become heated in the dance the poison is absorbed by the pores of the skin, and is thrown into the blood. Many lives have been sacrificed by this means alone.

      *The Fatal Effects of Painting*
"No one can ride or walk through the fashionable portion of New York city, attend any place of amusement, or go to any evening party, without becoming aware of the horrible fact that many women of whom better things might be expected, have fallen into the pernicious habit of applying to their skins the enamels which, under various attractive names, are advertised and sold in all parts of the land.
"Not only faded faces, but countenances so young, plump and pretty in outline that they must in their natural condition be attractive, are lacquered over with an unnatural polish of fine porcelain, which produces an effect such as one might imagine if a china doll were afflicted with the consumption.
"This practice is as pernicious as it is disgusting-the seeds of death or paralysis being hidden in every pot and jar of those mixtures, which are supposed to be not only innocent, but also to possess the virtues of the undiscovered fountain of perpetual youth.
Some who use them will suddenly have a severe illness; and receiving a private warning from the family physician, will cease the use of the cause of their disorder, and recovering, go through life with an extremely bad complexion, as a reminder of their folly.
"Others will drop suddenly, with their features twisted on one side, and perhaps deprived of the use of their limbs. Others will die outright, no one guessing why. The effect on any particular person cannot be calculated. What one suffers paralysis from, may kill another outright. The only safety is in having nothing to do with any of these baneful preparations." HR October 1, 1871,

I would say around 70% of my body is covered in tattoos, after or around the sametime I got saved around 2 years ago my desire for tattoos completely ran out. I feel as if for me it was about the flesh and identifying with the flesh and not the spirit, it was a fleshly desire. I repented right away when I came to Christ for that. For a long time in my life I was trying to add onto myself with tattoos, I think as people we always think we need to add on ourselves but we are already made in the image of God. Since I was a child I always felt like there was more to me so i added tattoos on to me. I realize we don't need to add anything else on to ourselves to feel completed, we just need to be right with God and rest in him. But yes it's definitely about the intention of why a Christian is getting tattoos, or what tattoos they are actually getting. It Can lead to sin. God bless.

@@korivex742 yeah, we are all searching for something before we come to Christ, some of us try to feel more complete and whole by adding tattoos to ourselves, and other people in others ways. This is apart of our nature, but when we find God we finally feel complete, or at least the most complete than we did before. Every human being has a whole in their hearts on purpose, and God put it there so that we can know only HE can complete us and make us whole. Every single human being is longing for him in their souls whether they know it or not, and all creation groans for him but yet turn the other way. Sin is our disease, Christ is the cure, but a lot of people don't want the Cure and want to remain sick.

"Everything is permitted but not everything is necessary.

And is our state while in the world indulging in un-necessary endeavors.
      Yet God permits everything !
He will also judge, only Him !!! not man, otherwise "some" guys will send all humanity to hell, except their holiness'es and echo-chambers, obviously !
(now I am sinning because I am angry at the Hypocrisy of our "Holly" brothers !)
      -
      the "missed" 2 phrases.
      Phrase 2:
"You found Christ and now you are saved !"
(Repentance, and that's it; yet sin is still present in all forms)
      Example of sins:
pride ; judging others; self righteousness, etc, and these are my (our?) daily struggles.
Do you think that not keeping this or that day, or eating this and that is a Sin ?
I am not a Jew, that Covenant is Ended !
I am a Christian, un-worthy of His sacrifice and mercy, but Christian nonetheless !
      -
      phrase 3:
"There are NO powers of any kind that can separate you from the Love of God."
"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow; not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.
No power in the sky above or in the earth below; indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."
      -
And below is all our Christian lives for ALL of us !
"but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.
What a wretched man I am!
Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?
Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!"
      -
God bless us with wisdom and love, for it seams at this moment I am lacking both.

I wanted a new one, but guided by The Holy Spirit, I got a “you have enough” and to not do it. I wanted a Tatoo that everyone can see I am a Christian. The Holy Spirit’s advice was for me to show it by living my life accordingly.

Why would you need everyone to "see" you're a Christian? Isn't that a very Pharisee attitude? Can't you just be a Christian without caring about what people "see" or don't "see"?

Honestly it's a bit more then people assume.
      1. The word of God is not just the book but perception.
      2. AFTER God found me the first thing I did was buy a tattoo gun and gave myself about 200 tattoos in a month. It turned out amazing and because I went on intuition it literally has a story line I unconsciously did.
      3. Tattooes are no concerns nor is many other things to God. Your conscious vibration does for sure. I'm always happy and finding and spreading truth and reading and writing and woodworking. I do as I please because it's who I am and what made me capable of finding this. I'm 100% on this as well regardless of what other people subjectively experience. When people see my tattoos I see the same energy as my other creations. It's a good thing. Maybe it's because I drew , stencil amd tattooed myself . Doubtful lol.
Everything is thought tho. God may not even speak languages. It is all that is seen and that which holds. It's our creativity and intuition so how can anyone argue what I'm saying in regards to my tattoos. I also did DMT numerous times because God literally presented it in the most odd fashion. I now know why. It is the new mercy seat. If you feel guilt doing anything then either shift your energy or stop the thought. I believe that people believe their own projected truth with God but it's going to change person to person my friend. Maybe it's because I took a really rough 42 months in 2017-21. Made it out and was instantly gifted largely and have been everyday since that day. I have been off work and reading and writing and drawing and meditating and can't even keep up to the wisdom flowing. Brilliant. Shame on some branches of catholic that have lost and manipulated and avoid the truth for control and money. Then ridicule the ones who seek to help God leaving them

This was an interesting discussion. I taught my children that it was better not to mark your body with anything that you might be embarrassed of when you got older. At one time I had a very rebellious son who came home one night with 2 tattoos on his chest. When he showed them to me I just broke down and cried. Since then he has regained his testimony and returned to the church. Now those tattoos of worldly symbols are an embarrassment to him but perhaps a reminder to stay close to God and Jesus Christ so you will have some protection from making irreversible decisions. I never said “I told you so”, but he has apologized for going against his parent’s council.

    • @beentheredonethat5908
      @beentheredonethat5908 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

The tattoos shouldn't be an embarrassment, they add to his testimony! Jesus came for the sinner , and it's amazing to live a good life, but those who were rebellious and turned away , but then return to the father are a prize. They also give people who need someone who has been there and made those mistakes someone to talk to, even pur mistakes can be used to help others find the path.
I am covered in tattoos from my youth, even prison and gang tattoos. Those tattoos allow me to be trusted by others who are looking to change but are not comfortable talking to someone who has never walked the path we have, me being a big , tattooed and alpha looking male, who will in a second talk about the lord, fall to my knees and pray with them, makes them see its not a weakness to call out, it is our greatest strength. There was a time when I was first saved I regretted all I've done, the way I changed my body , but then something happened, other men like I used to be, who knew and respected both mem I had been, started talking to me, I was able to allow men to have an opening and feel secure enough to be weak before the lord, to drop to theur knees with me, so I no longer regret it, my path may nit have been straight but the lord has been abke to use me to bring more people to him, he gave everything purpose, I am whole and have no shame, my scars , tattoos , muscles and history are now a testimony that can help touch hearts of the men who have been forgotten, who dont believe they deserve to be saved, or are just so programmed never to show weakness or ask for help, so all my wrongs, suffering, pain, and even my sins have paved me into a tool for my lord.

      @ruantristancarlinsky3851 2 ปีที่แล้ว +21

@Sebulev Potente If you have been following Daniel's ministry you would know by now that he is a true born again Christian. I understand that we are to call out sin when we see it. However, some people are really taking it too far and placing all their attention on an external issue that has nothing to do with salvation. Everyone has sin in their lives. Calling out one particular sin and deriving judgment from that is not a wise route to go otherwise all of us would stand condemned. So yes I 100% agree that we are to keep our bodies holy for the Lord, but atleast try and listen to what he has to say first before you judge him. He definitely thought hard and long about this, so atleast here his side of the story and see if his intentions are in line with God or not as this is not something as serious that could cost him his salvation. It is an external issue. Man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. In the old testament circumcision was done in the flesh but now in the new covenant God requires spiritual circumcision so do not be too overly fixated on what he is doing on the outside, especially without hearing his motivation for doing so at first.

@Sebulev Potente I'm personally on a 50/50, I do respect and agree with some of what you have to say, but there's also some people(doesn't apply to everyone, nor am I generalizing) who are popping up Bible verses out of context without their explanation, as to why is said verse connected.
Not to mention in Daniel's tattoo video on His other channel, I actually looked at every comment, and there's really some pretty saddening replies down there, and verses that are used over and over again, there was also a debate somewhere in the comments? but at that point my head was hurting quite a bit.(literally) I see these comments in a lot of Christian videos at times, it's quite sad for me, but with time I'm sure people will be able to properly articulate regards situations more. It just takes time and God's guidance.
Many of scripture is connected by verse and many by text, many of us know this, but it's a common fault(even for me at one point), to nit pick specific verses through impulse at times, to prove a point and not see the bigger picture behind it.
To be able to understand verses, from what I've observed is to relate and to know the key differences and how the words are described and connected in the entirety of the Bible.
Atmosphere is also important, since to be able to understand further, I do believe we need to relate to the atmosphere and timeline the people who wrote the Bible for, like example, "who are they writting to?" "What was the motive behind the sripture?" "What was the person feeling when writring this verse?" etc.
Like for example the "Olive tree" analogy, as what I personally call it (I don't know much about this to be able to explain it well, but it's a rather good example, research about it if ya'll like!)
And ofcourse by praying to God to give us the wisdom and revelation needed to be able to understand the Bible through Spirit and not by the flesh.
It's good to tell Daniel a fault He may have made, however we all have to realize we aren't any better either, for all have fallen short in God's glory.
I just pray that we may do things in a more mature, balanced, loving and truthful way, that isn't meant to condemn, but to convict.
Anyways, this is just my personal thought, Godbless to all of you♡

I believe if your are living in the spirit you have no need of a marking on your body to remind you your a child of the living God. In your case as a minister you have to be extra careful that nothing you do would cause others to stumble or fall.
I’ve watched you for a long time and I can see and sense that the Holy Ghost is on you and working through you, but you are young and even though it’s not a sin it’s not profitable, in the spirit, to do such a thing.
Could you getting a tattoo cause someone to stumble? Looking at the comments I believe so.
Is drinking a sin? Not in all forms but many would disagree with me and if I was to go out in public and drink and a brother or sister of faith saw me it might hurt their walk.
This is where I stand with it. Your not just another person with a TH-cam channel your a minister to anyone in the world who has access to watch TH-cam. There your sheep.
Everyone now is getting tattoos. I see so many young people marking their bodies up for all sorts of reasons. Most of those reasons are ridiculous. A tattoo is not needed to remind us who we belong to, or who I am or where I’am from or where I’am going. When I became born again God gave me a new heart. That is where my seal is. We live and walk and talk by the spirit for the spirit searches all things even the deep things of God.
God’s word is written on my heart like all Christians. Why is it such a big deal in our culture to do what everyone else is doing. It’s because the culture is dictating this and not the Spirit and that’s the real truth.
You can disagree with me and I’am sure you and others will.
I heard your explanation. Your stretching it.
Look! I love you as brother in Christ and I will continue to watch your channel cause it ministers to me and I know it does to so many others.
Not everyone is judging you but some believe, as a minister, you’ve made a mistake.
    Love you my brother.

He is still human after all, bound to make mistakes, i just hope that he finds in his heart to admit it, after the commotion that was caused by this controversial posting of a ¨teaser video¨ about getting a tattoo. now i wonder what is the motive behind the first video? knowing that fellow believers will stumble and will express their thoughts regarding the matter, when he could've explained his thoughts before revealing that he got a tattoo.

Thank you for reading the comment🌸

Now that people like you have made comments as so, I have finally decided to actually read the Bible and seek him. And as far as the other person that replied with the scriptures, those where the main comments that would push me away. I understood I needed to turn away from sin, but when you are reminded you’ve sinned and are judged though you’ve repented by others, you go back to the world. So again. I disagree with tattoos completely but I also disagree with you. You need to have a reminder of God because often times you forget him when your amidst of committing a sin or have the desire to commit a certain sin whatever it may be. Thats why for us muslims were obliged to pray 5 times a day to give us a sense of relaxation and peace of heart throughout day from remembering Allah. We also do a thing called thikr which means “reminding” which in essence its done in the prayer but we are recommended to do it through out the day by saying Subhanallah (glory be to God) AlhamidulAllah (praise be to God”) , La ilha ilalah (there is no god but God) and many others to remind you of Allah and to protect yourself from thyself and from the devil. Which is why i try to keep my tongue on making dhikr by default.

@@saddleweary9709 I won’t judge those who have tattoos but for me and my conviction and from a biblical stand point it’s not something I will do. You don’t need your body graffiti to show others who Christ is but rather through your actions and speech…. Same as people who have number plates with scripture verses or symbols etc on their car stating they are Christians… you might slip up one day with your driving etc and what kind of testimony is that then for Christ? Our bodies are temples and are made for God and God wants us to be Holy set apart from the world….
Just walking past a tattoo parlour gives me shivers…. I believe there’s a spiritual connection and not a good one in my conviction. God bless 🙏🏻☺️

If you already have tattoos, God doesn’t care what you did yesterday, it’s what you do AFTER you are saved.
Anything that takes precedence in your life or detracts from living “in Christ” is a distraction and a stumbling block toward discipleship.
In light of that, what is the reason you would get a tattoo and defile your body… to get noticed? To be petulant? These are the sins. The mark itself is a symbol of something that is of this world, not spiritual. In that vein, it can be an indication the heart is not in Christ.

I have studied the bible all of my life. And have been to various churches that follow and speak the truth about the bible. Two years ago i found my church. Sad isn't it. But i have never wavered in my faith or reading and teaching God to my children as they grew up. They are all christians as well. Thank you for reaching out to people through youtube it reaches so many people. And i reach out and help people in other ways. Sometimes it seems like we don't reach enough people or do enough. But then you get a text from your son on mothers day saying they are so proud of what they were taught growing up. And how they were glad i kept my faith and followed God my whole life.
