Another great video, Steph. I'm in love with the Mercury Rising Coreopsis. For many years I enjoyed Moonbeam Coreopsis, so I'd like to try the deep pink version. Hope my Lowes carries it!
I have to say, I’m a little jealous of your Lowe’s clearance rack. I’ve gotten many good clearance plants at my store but holy moly, the selection yours has! 😍 Another pretty yellow/purple plant combo that is doing well for me are the Sallyfun Deep Ocean Salvia and Mesa Peach Blanket flower, even in the full HOT Louisiana sun (9a). I actually found both on the clearance rack. This is my first year of gardening and I have learned SO much from your channel. Thank you! 💕
Gee whiz Steph, here on the Cape we don't have Lowes and you were able to go to a second one? LOL. I have been planting vinca in my garden for over 30 years! Both in NJ where I am originally from and here on the Cape. They love the heat and sun. Glad you like yours.

Good morning Steph, Eclipse hydrangeas tag says full sun, but I got one and had to move it to the shade area. Really thought I was going to lose it. 🤔 I’m in MA
Hi Otilia! I agree, most big leaf hydrangeas do prefer shade. Perhaps it would do ok in morning sun, but afternoon shade. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. When I find a suitable spot in my garden, I would love to add one 🌱🌱
That's amazing! There certainly has been some improvements in the heat tolerance of many plants. I'm guessing yours are getting ample water. They are beautiful plants, so glad they perform well for you in sun 🌱

We can control plants with runners by planting them in pots to enjoy.
