This is honestly so awesome as my nipples stick out pretty far and wondered if there was actually a procedure to get them reduced or if I was crazy. Thank you!

Thanks doc for that very succinct and easy to understand explanation. I particularly appreciate the animation as opposed to the live procedure which I can't watch.

This is so helpful I was worried having them removed would be my only option!

Since the procedure mostly deals with nipple height reduction is it also possible to get someone who has wide nipples and make them smaller in width much like how they naturally look on cis males?

Sure, all size adjustments and details related to the way that you wish to see your nipples and areola presented should be discussed with your surgeon. A skilled surgeon will be excited to deliver a realistic set of expectations for what you can expect given knowledge of their skillset.

Hi Dr., thank you so much for this! I was wondering if there’s a way to reduce the size of the nipple in terms of the circular areola? I had a form of periareolar with a 1 mm incision on the side to leave more room for lipo. Looking to get the diameter and projection reduced

I have a quick question. If you have nipple fissures are you still able to get nipple grafting or would they need to be treated beforehand?

Thanks for asking! Dr. Mosser has not seen nipple fissure be a significant issue enough to affect surgery. However, any issue large enough to be considered an open wound would need to heal before any type of top surgery. I hope that helps!

I got top surgery and my doc messed up my nipples one is bigger and puffy thanks to the scarring and the other is smaller and has a white hole in the middle it literally looks like it was slapped on there the smaller one just looks like some sewed on some of the pink of my nipple on and left the middle completely out not to mention he left fast pads under my armpits saying that that was far as "he could go" they also don't feel the same. One is flat and the other isn't so he said he gonna go back in cute out the scar tissue and see if it makes it flatter but then again I think he needs to do some workout on the smaller one that just looks like a pink cigar burn too.

I do not want to have my nipple reduced. I want them pierced.
