I had mine done a week ago, with hardly any pain. Was up and walking the same day but drain incisions are uncomfortable. So happy with my results! Went from a H to a C!
I'm 5 days post op from my reduction. Very tender and sore but omd my boobies are amazing, best decision I've ever made. Good luck ladys ull not regret it,
You all are so blessed. I have always wanted a breast reduction due to physical, mental, and emotional pain. It is hard for me to find bras. The cost of reduction is way out of my limit. I hate mine. Most people dream of having houses and cars. I dream of having a reduction.
I pray that you will be able to get it. Look into your insurance. I had mine done yesterday but it was for health reasons. I have a lot of issues and nerve damage in my back and by the grace of God, my insurance paid for it. I give all the glory to Jesus.
Listen, do it! I’m 3 weeks post Op today and it’s the best decision ever. I’m a firm believer in women making the necessary decisions to feel good about themselves.
I had mine done yesterday. The drains are the worst and when I stand it is VERY painful. My meds don't take the pain away fully. just helps me deal with it. I have Fibromyalgia, so the thing that I didn't even consider is how much nerve pain is all over my body. Not to mention all the other feelings that come with nerve pain. It's miserable, but not intolerable. One of the worst things is the dizziness.I'm so sensitive to meds. I'm also hoping that my boobs will look nice. Right now they are swallen and flat because of the bandages so I can't really look to see what they look like. So that has me concerned a bit, if I'm honest.. it's so wild to look down and not see my oversized breast anymore. (I was between a E and G. Now, I'm C/D) It's so surreal. I waited so long. I just pray it all works out. 😊
Same, it’s taking me a bit longer than I anticipated, and the tiredness what has been the worst as well as where the drainage lines were and lifting more than 5 pounds is slightly painful. Looking to the “bigger picture” and hanging in there. Best of luck to you in your recovery!
@@MsKittyWitz same to you. I talked to my doctor, he said, even though it's a same day surgery, too keep in mind it's a big surgery and that healing will be slow and steady. Lifting is painful but not as much as stretching for me. Everything is still so tender and new. The itching has been the worst part of everything, but I would do it a hundred times over. This is one of the best decisions I have made for myself. I feel so thankful. I thank God everyday. Even though my boobs still look like something out of a freak show circus. Haha. Praying for you. Show yourself some care. You will get there.
I wanted the reduction for years, I am 52, and I am not lying, it was extremely painful but I also had some sort of injection and then lipo (sculpting) done. I thought my ribs were broken and i was bruised for 4 weeks. My Dr didn't share any information on what the pain could be like. I know it's per person but I have a HIGH tolerance of pain and this was the most painful thing I have ever done. However, I had never had surgery before, so I had no idea what to expect. Period. It is the best thing I have done for myself. On Day 2 I would have told you this was the worst decision. Week 5 I love them and they are beautiful! My Dr did state that they can change for a year. I am not sure what that means...please advise. Any advice would be accepted.
It means that the shape changes a little bit, they drop a bit and look more natural rather than sitting higher up and the size might change depending on the amount of swelling you have. So they could decrease in size. I'm not a medical professional, this is just from my own research. All the best.
I’m only 4 ‘10 and my boobs are D’S I’m hop wing to get surgery soon I’m excited thinking of all the things I could do without those heavy things plus my back is hurting so bad

I work at a warehouse... I can't afford to take that much time off work. 😭 I hate having breasts at all! I can't take care of them properly, and I keep having problems as a result!
Am 44. Having mine done in November. Part of me wishes I would have done it sooner. But I had to get over the fear. Just tired of carrying this weight.

I feel the same.😢
Do you have insurance? I’ve wanted one for 11 years, this year I finally went for it and my insurance is covering it.
Definitely see if your insurance will cover. I waited 40 years and insurance approved it in a week. Going next month
