I'm not sure if this is the case on console, but on PC, I've noticed that NPC's will just spawn out of nowhere ahead of you in the latest versions. This never used to happen in the older versions, and I would definitely be able to tell, because I used to play with TAA off, so stuff like that would be far more visible.

Agreed, many (myself included) have started petitions or sent emails to Rockstar reporting all the issues with John Marston and all you get is a generic "the issue will be addressed soon, thanks for contacting support" message or whatever.
I havmt played online since moonshiners... this was the end for red dead online. Now its strictly about time on server in exchange for minuscule reward....i might aswell not play video games at all if this is how they all are going to be in the future.
The thing they should have done is gone back to beta john and remake his clothes in 1.00 and keep the graphical enhancements of 1.29 in which they have improved a bunch of lighting and bug fixes
One thing that is also irritating is if you get John to be overweight the high neckerchief he wears in his iconic outfit glitches through his throat as if John's trying to commit suicide with his neckerchief glued in his windpipe
I think that wish list might be a little too much, not even that it’s Rockstar, more so that it’s a lot for a company to add for something that they’re not even supporting anymore
RDR2 was a Completely Finished game at version 1.00 at release for consoles and up to version 1.05 only minor improvements were made after version 1.05 they start heavily downgrading the graphics cause of RDR Online to run smoother and even Completely change some cutscenes and weather patterns which create many graphical bugs and Glitches so RDR2 is at it's Best up to and including version 1.05 on PS4 Pro can't speak for the Xbox version but probably the same i was lucky to backup the game at version 1.05 so i can play it on that version even now and the difference between 1.05 and lasted patches is insane

Holy shit, I just found out about the shoulder thing like wtf? Why change that? I've recently been trying to 100% the game on pc after I beat it on ps4 a couple of years ago and I noticed John looked kinda off from the last time I played but never figured out what was different until now, thank you for giving me an answer to what has been bothering for months now my friend.

Now, don't get me wrong, it's bullshit that all of these were changed in favor of Arthur Marston in the current patch. But imo, the change that makes the absolute least sense is them changing the density of the mustache. There's literally no reason to make it lighter, I have no clue why they even bothered changing that.

I thought i was crazy but i thinked the game visual quality had a down grade but i wouldnt believe it i had stopped a little ago a little after the photo mode and all and when i came back i was like "damn did that game looked like that before it's so ugly" and more people complain so im happy im not as crazy as i thought also i understand your point i will reload the game in 1.0 tomorow since rdo wont get update anymore (since gta online and gta6 give them more money) ill go back in 1.0 since the funny est and more usefull glitch work on this version thanks for the video it was really interesting
They did this when GTA5 went from PS3/360 to PS4/XB1. I remember one day, the graphics were really good, and then the other they were utter shit. No one believed me and tried to convince me I was going crazy, too. When it happened in RDR2 to push people to RDO, I wasn't even surprised lmao.

It used to be a smaller issue back in the day, but these days Online has consumed them so much they don't even bother with story DLC or simple glitch fixes like the too cold weather outfit glitch, that wasn't fixed until 2 months ago.

I don't think replying to every rockstar tweet is going to help. People everyday ask for GTA 6 in their replies so there's already no credibility in their reply section. @@wajajan697 as far as I heard it's random, so if you don't get it in your save then that means you must go back to Arthur and replay until the epilogue, then try again to see if this time you get it
There's a bug i've found in the game where if you are aiming in first person as either John or Arthur, and quickly transition to third person while in dead eye and go into camera mode it shows their original facial designs. However it resets afterwards unfortunately. Some bs if you ask me
It's weird because you can still equip the gloves meant for John in the later patches but they changed his pre-built outfit to have Arthur’s range gloves
no those gloves are still bigget than arthurs... maybe they fucked up and somehow made a hybrid or combination of johns 1.00 gloves and arthurs gloves in the later patches because it just doesn't make sense as to why they would change it... no idea for the disco pants elsewell
Since they have done the latest update to online story mode has become almost unplayable just terrible glitches like when I go into Deadeye my horse will just stop and won't move and when there's a heap of enemy chasing after you that can't and well different things like characters dying out of Random out of nowhere Dutch disappearing and reappearing on his horse characters randomly disappearing under the ground or turning on you randomly and the most annoying glitch is when I have a bounty on me usually you can see the bounty hunters coming after you but they keep spawning right around me out of nowhere and killing me even in the middle of a mission so yeah it's pretty unplayable at the moment
Is it true that photo mode and weapon lockers don't exist? I use them a lot but I want to play 1.00 because of the lack of downgrades. I heard that they fixed most of them and even improved and enhanced a few things ex. gore, shadow pop ins and fast travel but I'm not sure. Any idea on a version to pick?
Idk only real advantage in 1.00 is John cloths and body being better plus being able to go new austin as arthur with glitches save with cheats with glitches and have most outfits that are only for missions using glitches
By the way, I play on PC now, so it's my second playthrough, and I'm in chapter 6, some mods revamp the John sections, so yeah, just play on PC if you can, it beats both 1.00 and 1.3.2, using just the base game
Honestly, if you want Rockstar to notice you have to get gaming news outlets to pick up this story. Preferably the more mainstream ones as well. If a narrative was created around Rockstar ditching single player dlc, aggresively pushing microtransactions in the online portion, failing to be transparent or keep up with demand in regards to online updates, as well as progressively degrading and adding bugs to the single player it may be enough to paint Rockstar in a negative light and get them to at least acknowledge if not fix some of the issues potentially.
So I’ve been trying to download rdr2 1.00 on Xbox for awhile now but every single time it gets stuck at 45.48 gb and that’s when I should switch disks but yet when I switch even at 42 gb it doesn’t do anything it try’s to download for a bit then says installation paused when it should say insert disk 2 to keep installing I’ve tried on series x Xbox one x Xbox one the original and all of them have the same issue is there anything I can do to fix this is it the disk? But when I install WITH internet and have the update installing to everything goes smooth and It’ll be ready in about 2 hours and it plays perfectly just it’s not in 1.00 so it still could if that’s possible but i got the game on launch day idk what to do if anyone could tell me why or if they’ve experienced the same issue or a alike issues help would be appreciated. Also I’ve tried multiple other games to download without internet to get them back to how they were at launch and it works fine it’s only rdr2 I’ve had an issue with anyways thanks for atleast reading please comment if you’ve experienced the same issue or if you’ve solved it or anything really
Thanks to your video i now play in 1.00 without off hand holster, i also found the hairstyle that is much better for doing rdr1 John, the short right sided hair, but there is a bug that glitched the gun in the holster that clip trough it when i move, pls can anyone help me with this problem?
i never played rdr1 but it always weirded me out how john went from this string bean in chapters 1-6 to arthur sized in the epilogue, along with arthur's hair. it also always annoyed me how we couldn't use any of his NPC outfits in chapter 1-6 but that might have just been me

Maybe the perfect version would be with only the update of the day one, because the 1.0v that is on the CD got some weird bugs like the weather that changes drastically and some details like Arthur's stache when he's is getting something to craft in the bonfire

I'm having second thoughts on rdr2 1.00..especially the hotel bug where if you order a room, you teleport to the counter which bothers me. I want to give it a chance but there's also the fact that at prologue, I experienced flying shotgun shells twice when reloading.

man, they butchered single player so bad, endless bugs and stuff, completely abandoned... that's a real shame because this is the best free roam game ever in my opinion.
I'm not sure if this is the case on console, but on PC, I've noticed that NPC's will just spawn out of nowhere ahead of you in the latest versions. This never used to happen in the older versions, and I would definitely be able to tell, because I used to play with TAA off, so stuff like that would be far more visible.

Agreed, many (myself included) have started petitions or sent emails to Rockstar reporting all the issues with John Marston and all you get is a generic "the issue will be addressed soon, thanks for contacting support" message or whatever.

The thing they should have done is gone back to beta john and remake his clothes in 1.00 and keep the graphical enhancements of 1.29 in which they have improved a bunch of lighting and bug fixes

RDR2 was a Completely Finished game at version 1.00 at release for consoles and up to version 1.05 only minor improvements were made after version 1.05 they start heavily downgrading the graphics cause of RDR Online to run smoother and even Completely change some cutscenes and weather patterns which create many graphical bugs and Glitches so RDR2 is at it's Best up to and including version 1.05 on PS4 Pro can't speak for the Xbox version but probably the same i was lucky to backup the game at version 1.05 so i can play it on that version even now and the difference between 1.05 and lasted patches is insane

Now, don't get me wrong, it's bullshit that all of these were changed in favor of Arthur Marston in the current patch. But imo, the change that makes the absolute least sense is them changing the density of the mustache. There's literally no reason to make it lighter, I have no clue why they even bothered changing that.

The shoulders, not having the original messy hair available, and the beard/stubble never really looking right has always bugged me
I thought i was crazy but i thinked the game visual quality had a down grade but i wouldnt believe it i had stopped a little ago a little after the photo mode and all and when i came back i was like "damn did that game looked like that before it's so ugly" and more people complain so im happy im not as crazy as i thought also i understand your point i will reload the game in 1.0 tomorow since rdo wont get update anymore (since gta online and gta6 give them more money) ill go back in 1.0 since the funny est and more usefull glitch work on this version thanks for the video it was really interesting
They did this when GTA5 went from PS3/360 to PS4/XB1. I remember one day, the graphics were really good, and then the other they were utter shit. No one believed me and tried to convince me I was going crazy, too. When it happened in RDR2 to push people to RDO, I wasn't even surprised lmao.

Great comparison, Rockstar seems to have forgot about their own game and more importantly their character with the epilogue.

That's one of the biggest problem with Rockstar, they release incredible story-driven games but after said release they couldn't care less to update, fix, or add much on it.
It used to be a smaller issue back in the day, but these days Online has consumed them so much they don't even bother with story DLC or simple glitch fixes like the too cold weather outfit glitch, that wasn't fixed until 2 months ago.

I don't think replying to every rockstar tweet is going to help. People everyday ask for GTA 6 in their replies so there's already no credibility in their reply section. With any change, all rockstar fans - myself included - need to email rockstar support or any representatives. They help a lot with individual online players and probably will provide insight for either us or their colleagues.

@@wajajan697 as far as I heard it's random, so if you don't get it in your save then that means you must go back to Arthur and replay until the epilogue, then try again to see if this time you get it

There's a bug i've found in the game where if you are aiming in first person as either John or Arthur, and quickly transition to third person while in dead eye and go into camera mode it shows their original facial designs. However it resets afterwards unfortunately. Some bs if you ask me

It's weird because you can still equip the gloves meant for John in the later patches but they changed his pre-built outfit to have Arthur’s range gloves
no those gloves are still bigget than arthurs... maybe they fucked up and somehow made a hybrid or combination of johns 1.00 gloves and arthurs gloves in the later patches because it just doesn't make sense as to why they would change it... no idea for the disco pants elsewell

Since they have done the latest update to online story mode has become almost unplayable just terrible glitches like when I go into Deadeye my horse will just stop and won't move and when there's a heap of enemy chasing after you that can't and well different things like characters dying out of Random out of nowhere Dutch disappearing and reappearing on his horse characters randomly disappearing under the ground or turning on you randomly and the most annoying glitch is when I have a bounty on me usually you can see the bounty hunters coming after you but they keep spawning right around me out of nowhere and killing me even in the middle of a mission so yeah it's pretty unplayable at the moment
Is it true that photo mode and weapon lockers don't exist? I use them a lot but I want to play 1.00 because of the lack of downgrades. I heard that they fixed most of them and even improved and enhanced a few things ex. gore, shadow pop ins and fast travel but I'm not sure. Any idea on a version to pick?
Idk only real advantage in 1.00 is John cloths and body being better plus being able to go new austin as arthur with glitches save with cheats with glitches and have most outfits that are only for missions using glitches

By the way, I play on PC now, so it's my second playthrough, and I'm in chapter 6, some mods revamp the John sections, so yeah, just play on PC if you can, it beats both 1.00 and 1.3.2, using just the base game

Honestly, if you want Rockstar to notice you have to get gaming news outlets to pick up this story. Preferably the more mainstream ones as well.
If a narrative was created around Rockstar ditching single player dlc, aggresively pushing microtransactions in the online portion, failing to be transparent or keep up with demand in regards to online updates, as well as progressively degrading and adding bugs to the single player it may be enough to paint Rockstar in a negative light and get them to at least acknowledge if not fix some of the issues potentially.

So I’ve been trying to download rdr2 1.00 on Xbox for awhile now but every single time it gets stuck at 45.48 gb and that’s when I should switch disks but yet when I switch even at 42 gb it doesn’t do anything it try’s to download for a bit then says installation paused when it should say insert disk 2 to keep installing I’ve tried on series x Xbox one x Xbox one the original and all of them have the same issue is there anything I can do to fix this is it the disk? But when I install WITH internet and have the update installing to everything goes smooth and It’ll be ready in about 2 hours and it plays perfectly just it’s not in 1.00 so it still could if that’s possible but i got the game on launch day idk what to do if anyone could tell me why or if they’ve experienced the same issue or a alike issues help would be appreciated. Also I’ve tried multiple other games to download without internet to get them back to how they were at launch and it works fine it’s only rdr2 I’ve had an issue with anyways thanks for atleast reading please comment if you’ve experienced the same issue or if you’ve solved it or anything really

Maybe the perfect version would be with only the update of the day one, because the 1.0v that is on the CD got some weird bugs like the weather that changes drastically and some details like Arthur's stache when he's is getting something to craft in the bonfire

I'm having second thoughts on rdr2 1.00..especially the hotel bug where if you order a room, you teleport to the counter which bothers me. I want to give it a chance but there's also the fact that at prologue, I experienced flying shotgun shells twice when reloading.

@@Bithe_Get Understandable, currently I'm playing it again right now and I think it's growing on me so aside from a few glitches. At least it doesn't have the camp members dialogue glitch where they tell you to get warmer clothes.
