Soooo... I’m in high school... I took health, which had sex Ed... these questions did not show anywhere. We learned NONE of this.
Yeah these questions aren’t even relevant. At my school we learned more about how to protect ourselves, and the focus was more on alcohol and dating violence

My experience is based on the Catholic school/church I attended like 30 years ago (holy crap I'm old! lol) I know our priest and school would never villify anyone based on sexuality, but I know my cousin and her husband who are born again christians abhore homosexuals (which is sad cuz she wasn't like that before.) Here's a fun fact though: The bible never had anything negative besides sodom and gamora about homosexuals until the AIDs epidemic in the 80s. It is constantly rewritten to suit (IMO) the current political and societal issues going on.

I have been lied to when they told me I can't get pregnant from precum
I heard that if the man urinates before sex, it gets rid of any old sperm in the penis tip. Precum can only get you pregnant if theres leftover sperm in the penis still

Yeah I'd say they should have said true. Even if it's leftover sperm... and it gets in the vagina with precum... its still there regardless. And a google search shows:

Theoretically, if any LIVE sperm is around, then you POSSIBLY could get pregnant. BUT, the count is SO low, that REALISTICALLY, it wouldn't ever happen. And has there ever been any medically recorded pregnancies from precum? No.
It's honestly just a scare tactic used in school to get people to not have sex at all, or at least use condoms. Because for some reason, the only fear is pregnancy, not STIs. *Shrugs*

I was taught abstinence-only education. Quite literally I came here to figure out what sex education is like without abstinence-only education and the first question I couldn't even get and I am a male. I knew what a gynecologist is because my mom told me. However because of the way I learn it was about don't talk about sex and only worry about sex until you're married.
Right away I am on the first question and they never told me what this was in school. So I don't know the male version of a gynecologist but I am guessing urologist.
See this is why abstinence-only doesn't work. I knew more than my teacher about the male anatomy and that made me angry as well. I know very little and quite frankly the only type of sex I have learned is from viewing porn. I graduated high school in 2019 and still it's like wow I was not told much.
We had the abstinence program.

I'm not from the US, but I've heard that in (some places in) the US sex ed for guys and girls is different? So if you don't have a penis and you didn't learn this during sex ed, a lot of it isn't really necessary to learn after school because it doesn't apply to you in any way. That said, I think everyone should get the same sex ed, just because it's good to know things about other bodies too.
