@@RHey-ir6lo Well being an adult has nothing to do with your brain maturing. An adult in the modern age would just be someone with legal rights to a lot of activities. At 18 people finish school, there’s no reason why schools would need to go on in their life for 7 extra years. Learning what? And you can’t really force someone to go to university either so what do they do. At 18 the mind is still maturing but they need time to get used to the “real” world before settling down. Also bodies mature way quicker than mind as well. If an 18 year old shouldn’t be called a young adult, what are they? Teenagers? Technically yes but their life has a way different setting than most younger teenagers. Adding to that, as I said earlier, adult has nothing to do with the brain it’s just more legal rights. Your body should be able to handle those rights when your 18 and you can’t expect a 25 year old to live with his/her/their parents or foster for 25 YEARS. At that point, they brain ain’t eva finna mature

I'm 21, haven't had a real bf (I'm a girl) and I'm soooo confused about my sexuality. I was like OK I'm heterosexual, then demisexual, then bicurious. Now, I don't even know what I like. I have no one to talk about it. It's scary to me sometimes.
@@hayleyfuentes6110 i totally get that. it took a lot of research on my part to find labels i liked, and even just to realize i liked labels at all, and i still question myself sometimes. for me, these labels are interchangeable and combinable. dont put too much pressure on yourself to figure it out - one day itll all fall into place :)
literally all the community got is two slides and two pictures in a majorly heterosexual powerpoint presentation, made by a teacher who was literally gay. so obviously its the school and not him
It really depends on the country. Here in the Netherlands I educate about LGBTQ+ for as long as I am a teacher (+5 years) It is part of our curriculum. Same for menstruation topic, masturbation questions and foreplay talks. It is part of our educationsystem and I hope more countries will follow this example so there will be less confused people:)

It’s so amazing how Jubilee is teaching us more about SexEd than our parents/schools ever could. I’m genuinely grateful. Imagine all the questions you have and there’s no answer because it has this stigmatized aura around it. Like no... embrace sex Ed so we can know these things.

Please don't rely on Jubilee for sex education. This is not sex education, this is a bunch of unqualified people talking about their sexual experiences, which is fine, but do not take it all on. There are some great sex ed channels on TH-cam from professionals that'll teach you way more than this.

The girl who got diagnosed with PTSD, for me she seemed very mature in a sense. With the whole PTSD stuff, it makes totally sense. I'm diagnosed with PTSD as well (also due to sexual assault) and I kinda related with her (the way she talked, etc.). I am glad they included so many different people with so completely different backgrounds and relationship concepts.

The girl with PTSD is very brave. I hope she's doing ok now. I was raped when I was a child and have mutiple diagnoses because of it. I never had sex and probably never will but I crave intimacy so much.

Here in Germany, how our biology teachers handle sex education is very individual. I had a really inclusive teacher, that talked about literally everything: sexuel attraction on a spectrum, sexual acts (not only penetration), ways to stay safe and the hormonal, physical and mental differences between men, women, homosexuals and heterosexuals.
It was wonderful!

I clicked on the video assuming it to be sort of a fun conversation about teens and their dating lives but here they actually talk about their nervousness doubts and less talked but very important issues. These small efforts make a easy environment for open talk and helps everyone going through this age and situations.

A lot of times your friends might be having sex and that does have a lot of pressure on you!! I was that shy girl and I absolutely was the type to be affected by other ppl bc I wasvery insecure and not sure if myself which I definitely regret things now looking back!! I'm 39 now so .. that was a long time ago lol! But it's so tough when your young and so insecure that you let the ppl around you influence you so much!!*

*Omg nothing worse than someone walking in on you getting it on!! I'll never forget my neighbor walking in on me and my first actual boyfriend which was also my first!! I lived with my dad in an apartment and he was a coal miner so his night shifts... I'd sneak my man in and my neighbor lady stopped by to check on me bc she said she thought "she heard me crying" lol and yeah... it was real embarrassing!! I was 16 and to my dad, I was a princess so I was so scared she might tell him!! She didn't tg!! She was pretty cool actually! Before I even became sexually active, I had issues with extremely painful periods and I taked to her about it and she took me to my first obgyn appointment and I ended up in birth control to help and it helped so so much!! But yeah, it was nice to have someone to talk to about certain personal things though besides my dad at the time bc he wasn't sure how to approach me about this kinda things!!*
