you might be able to make your own with a harbor freight hydraulic knock out punch set.. you would have to make the internal tapered pull.. and use either a commercial set of expanding jaws or create your own and cut them into sections. the HF is about 100 bucks. i am planning on getting one for many other uses ..

If you lubricate the assembly, you'll typically need less force & can reduce wear on the sliding components.
I WANT ONE! Those common wrench types I swear are useless to really expand a pipe - remove clamp crimps at best.
