There is a big difference between the content iDubbbz created, and the kind of fanbase he fostered by accident. He thought he would find like-minded people like him. Who got the joke and shock value. Instead he found a community of genuinely very harmful racists/sexists and violent people who saw him as validation. In the end yes he learned you can't make content like that without actually validating those bad people. And as a content creator you need to step up to the responsibility of that. There is a big difference between the content iDubbbz created,
and the kind of fanbase he fostered by accident.
But it isn't exactly fair to say HE is those people. I think iDubbbz always put a lot of thought into what he made and eventually he learned there is no way for him to make that same content and those same jokes, without raising up those horrible people.
Sure is coincidental that he “matured” right at the time TH-cam started demonetizing people like him
Joji quit doing filthy frank at the exact right time & at the exact turn of the tide on TH-cam, imagine if he was still doing the filthyfrank character but way more toned down to the point it’s not even the same character or just became a complete tool like Ian, Ian should’ve gracefully left TH-cam & become a serious documentary maker instead of whatever the hell he’s become, I’m just glad Joji, Max & chad are doing well for themselves tbh.
